To do this, squeeze the roll on both sides and press one of the ends. We wrap each green “drop” twice with a strip of white paper.

5. Lubricate the bottom of the second brown paper ring with glue and place it on top of the first row of spruce branches. We attach the “drops” of the 2nd row to the second ring.

7. Using the same principle, we form the 4th and 5th rows.

• thick paper/white or green cardboard;
• green and red quilling stripes;

2. We take the largest cone in diameter and glue 7 “leaves” onto it in a circle.
   
3. We decorate each element with a bead using a glue gun. This is the first tier of the craft. Everything will need to be made in 7 tiers.

5. To attach the second tier, coat the base cone from the inside with glue and place it on top of the 1st tier. At the same time, we place the workpiece in such a way that the “leaves” are arranged in a checkerboard pattern. Using the same principle, we assemble tiers 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
   
6. The crown of the Christmas tree using the quilling technique will be the crown. Its step-by-step formation is practically no different from the creation of other tiers. With the exception of one additional detail in the form of a “drop”.
7. To make the crown, we glue four “leaves” along the edges of the cone, and place the “drop” in the very middle of the upright.
8. Separately, we make two identical stars from red paper ribbons. To do this, we form a loose roll and pinch its five ray corners. We glue the stars on both sides of the “drop”.
9. We decorate the branches of the crown with beads.

DIY Christmas tree step by step

You will need: paper ribbons of different shades of green and red, a thin awl (toothpick, quilling tool), glue.

Making a Christmas tree

■ Wrap the edge of the tape around the tip of the awl. To achieve different sizes of shapes, use ribbons of longer or shorter length.

■ After wrapping one third of the strip, remove it from the awl and twist the rest of the strip by hand.

■ Form a shape from the resulting spiral, giving it the desired shape with your fingers. Secure the figure with glue.

■ Make the required number of “unfolded spiral”, “drop” and “eye” shapes from green and red ribbons. Make star shapes from red ribbon.

■ Assemble the resulting shapes into a Christmas tree, gluing them onto the base. Glue the “star” part to the top of the tree.

When gluing parts from rolled strips of paper, it is important to choose an adhesive that dries quickly without leaving marks. Regular PVA glue has this quality.

• colored paper (it is better to buy ready-made strips for quilling);
• sharp scissors with small tips;
• glue (thick PVA, glue stick or even a glue gun);
• various decorative elements (beads, sparkles, ribbons, etc.).

Let's start with the simplest thing - a flat Christmas tree.

First you need to carefully evenly cut one edge of the strip of paper. Then roll it into rolls using a toothpick and glue it together. “Fluff” the paper ends, and then assemble the Christmas tree on the card. All that remains is to decorate it with beads and bows.

Don't forget about decorative elements– beads (which play the role Christmas balls) and about artificial snow and sparkles.

After assembly, the product does not need to be glued to the base. You can spray it with varnish to secure it and hang it on the Christmas tree, or install it in the center.
