Recipe for wheat flour dough:

  1. 3 cups (300 gr.) wheat flour.

Rye flour gives the figures a warm bread color. To prepare any dough, mix flour and salt, then gradually pour in cold water and mix again. The degree of readiness of the dough can be determined as follows: if the dough stretches and sticks to your hands, it means there is a lot of water in it. Therefore, you need to add more flour.

To work you will need:

  1. The dough is salty.
  2. Stack.
  3. Vegetable peeler.
  4. Toothpick.
  5. Manicure file.
  6. Black peppercorns.
  7. Paints, brush.
  8. The varnish is transparent.
  9. Garlic press.

Roll out the flatbread to a thickness of 0.5-0.7 cm, this will be the chicken’s nest itself. We make the side parts of the nest using a garlic press. We form a “straw” by moistening it with water.

Leave the work to dry for 1 day so that the dough holds its shape well in the future. Let's start sculpting the chicken. We sculpt the body blank. We need the chicken as a stand for the egg, which means we need to make a recess for the Easter egg. We take a round shape, make a notch, and sculpt the breast and neck of the chicken. Use a vegetable peeler to feather the breast.

Insert a toothpick into the chicken's neck, leaving 1.5 cm. Connect the nest and the chicken's body. Roll out the dough, make wing blanks 1 cm thick. Draw the plumage with a vegetable peeler, attach it to the body of the chicken, moistening it with water.

Next, our task is to give the chicken a beautiful tail. We take an oval cake 0.7-1 cm thick as a basis. We make the plumage with a vegetable cutter. We trim the edges of the tail with a knife to resemble the pattern of feathers. Make the cuts neat, smoothing them with your fingers. Attach the tail to the chicken's body. Place something under your tail, such as a ball or an apple. After the product dries, remove the apple.

Roll into a round ball for the head. We shape the scallop using fingers and a stack, giving it the desired look.

To make the eyes, you need to mark their location. Make dents for the eyes with a stack. Next, use a vegetable peeler to make dents so that the eye becomes shaped.

Insert a peppercorn instead of the pupil. We make a beak and sculpt it to the head.

We fasten the head and body by putting the head on a toothpick. We attach a small strip of dough to stabilize the head. Decorate the chicken neck with dough feathers. You can make “earrings” for the chicken from pieces of dough.

We sculpt chickens in the same way. Don't forget to wet the parts for better fastening.

We leave the product to dry for 1-2 days, placing them in a distant place, maybe even on a closet. After a day or two, when the chickens and chickens have hardened, we finalize the work: we plant the figures on leaves, moistening the centers with water. Leave it in the air for 1-2 days. We dry the products first in air, and then put them in the oven at a temperature of 50 degrees for 1 hour. After drying, paint and cover with clear varnish.

Next, we move on to the design of the head (numbers 17 to 40).

    What would Easter be without Easter cakes, Easter eggs, souvenirs and angels? You can make these original Easter angels with your own hands from ordinary pasta. Pasta can be anything: stars, cones, spirals, vermicelli. Such angels can be hung on a willow branch or placed in Easter basket.

    To work you will need:

  1. Pasta.
  2. Ribbons or sticks.
  3. Thermal gun or Moment glue.
  4. PVA glue.
  5. Salt dough balls.

Use a glue gun to connect the head (dough ball) to the body. Next, glue the ribbon to the back. We select wings from pasta and glue on top of the braid.

Thickly coat the angel's head with PVA glue and dip it into small noodles or stars. This is the "hair" of an angel.

For hands use openwork pasta. Apply glue thickly on the sides, near the wings and glue.

We paint with either simple golden paint or spray paint.

If you want to insert them into an Easter basket, insert a stick inside the pasta body and glue it, the crafts are ready.

Salted dough

Here one of the recipes for the manufacture of salt dough:

1Mix a glass of flour and 1 glass of salt.

Then pour in 125 ml of water(the volume is approximate, because the amount of water may depend on the type of flour you used for the dough). Stir this mass again with a spoon, and then knead with your hands until a homogeneous consistency. Some people use a mixer for this purpose.

By the way, water can be replaced with jelly made from potato starch (dissolve 1 tbsp starch in 1/2 cup cold water. Then pour another 1 glass of boiled water into this liquid, stirring. When the jelly thickens and becomes transparent, remove from heat. received the paste). The dough will only benefit from such a replacement - it becomes more plastic.

Just don't overdo it! If the dough is too soft, knead it with a little extra flour and salt mixture. Salty dough there must be dense.

Now you can sculpt! It is better to sculpt on a sheet or board - this a good place for drying. The drying itself is carried out at a temperature of +80C in the oven for an hour, or on a radiator (in winter). The drying time depends on the thickness of the figurine.

If you need color salty dough , then it can be colored either at the kneading stage, using food coloring or gouache, which is convenient when working with small children; or paint the finished product after complete drying.

Master Class

Master Class (MK) - this is the transfer of his professional experience by a master (teacher), his consistent, verified actions leading to a predetermined result.

To publish a master class, the work must be original (invented and made by you). If you used someone else's idea, you must indicate the author. (The link to the source should not lead to a site containing sales of goods or services, since links to commercial sites are prohibited according to clause 2.4 of the PS).

Your master class should not completely duplicate the one already available in the Land of Masters. Before publishing, check through a search that there are no similar MKs on the site.

The process should be photographed step by step (see Tips for photographing crafts) or filmed (see how to upload a video).

Design order: the first photo is the finished work that is proposed to be completed, the second photo is the materials and tools necessary for the work (or their detailed description), then the stages of MK from the first to the last. The final photo (the result of the work) can repeat the very first one. Photos must be accompanied by clear and competent comments about the process.

If you have already published your MK on another site and you want to also publish it with us, then you need to follow all the rules for designing a MK described above. In other words: you can’t just put a photo in a post with the MK type finished product and a link to a master class on another site.

Easter crafts made from salt dough.

Equipment:


  • oil for lubricating the bowl
  • rolling pin for dough

1. Mix flour and salt, gradually adding water. The dough must be kneaded until it resembles a dense butter dough. Then turn the bowl over and lightly coat the bottom with oil. Place the container itself on some object so that its edges rise above the table. Roll the dough into a small ball, form it into a flat cake (the base of the basket) and place it in the bottom of an inverted bowl

2. Make long flagella with a diameter of 5 mm from the dough. Wet the outer edge of the dough piece - this will act as glue. Fasten one end of the flagellum to the edge of the cake, arrange the flagellum itself in the form of a loop and then fasten the second end to the cake. Lightly press both ends for better attachment to the base. 3. Moisten the outer surface of the loop and attach another flagellum to it. Make a second double loop. The ends of each loop should be located in the middle of adjacent loops 4. After attaching the loops, moisten the base with water and use a knife to make cuts on it, so that the ends of the loops will stick better to the base of the basket, and its bottom will be flatter. 5. Roll another ball of dough and make a flat cake out of it. Place it on top of the first basket base with the ends of the loops attached to it.
