A chicken with an Easter egg is a DIY gift. Egg bag Easter bunny bags for eggs

In many families, it is customary to give each other Easter eggs. As you know, anything should be packed properly. Therefore, we offer you an easy way to make a beautiful egg sac with your own hands. Making such a craft with children is not difficult. All materials and tools are ordinary and any housewife will definitely find them at home.

1. Materials and tools:

Table cloths.
Glue.
Scissors.
Sequins.
Stapler.

2. Cut out a rectangular piece of fabric measuring 7 cm by 10 cm. This piece is the future bag for the Easter egg.

3. Fold it in half and fasten it with a stapler. You can use thread and a needle and simply sew a bag. It is easier and safer for a child to use a stapler, but this must be done under adult supervision.

4. Turn the bag inside out and cut out small triangles.

5. Glue various sequins.

6. Place the egg inside and admire the cute Easter egg bag.

7. If there are no suitable sequins, then you can use buttons or cut flowers from the same fabric. Or use another decoration option. Cut two yellow eggs and Pink colour. And also use the triangles that remained from cutting out the top of the bag.

Beautiful Easter eggs will delight both family and friends, and if you also decorate them in an unusual way, then such a gift will certainly remain in the memory, evoking positive emotions.

You will need:

  • Fabric for the bag and the outside of the ears (ideally cotton or linen)
  • Fabric for the inside of the ears (ideally printed cotton or linen)
  • Floss
  • Ribbon or twine

Step 1

Print out the bag pattern and cut out the pieces: 4 pieces for the main part of the bag and 2 pieces from each fabric for the ears. Also cut out 2 rectangles of 17 cm x 4 cm from the main fabric.

Step 2

Fold the ears - parts from the main fabric and from the printed one, with right sides facing each other. Sew, retreating 0.5 cm from the edge.

Step 3

Trim the seam allowances so that they do not bulge when turned inside out.

Step 4

Turn it inside out and iron it. Repeat steps with the second ear.

Step 5

Place the base piece of the bag face up, place two pairs of prepared ears on top of it, with the printed fabric facing down. The ears should be approximately 1 cm apart. Align the cuts, sweep, retreating 0.5 cm from the edge.

Step 6

Place the second base bag piece on top, right side down. Align the cuts.

Step 7

Sew along the top edge, departing 1 cm from the edge. Fold the remaining two main parts of the bag in the same way (but without the ears) and stitch in the same way.

Step 8

Turn it onto your face and iron it.

Step 9

Place the two rectangles face down, fold the edges towards the center and press.

Step 10

Then fold the edges inside out twice by 0.8-1 cm and stitch.

Step 11

Place the main bag pieces in front of you and unfold the eyelet piece with the printed side facing down. Place two rectangles on top of the pieces (i.e. they should end up on the outside of the bag), 2.5 cm from the top edge. Sew along the long sides of each rectangle.

Step 12

On the part without ears, draw a rabbit's face.

Step 13

Using floss, embroider the design.

Step 14

Place the two main pieces of the bag right sides together and stitch around the perimeter, leaving an opening for turning inside out.

Step 15

Trim the seams.

Step 16

Turn it inside out and iron it.

Step 17

Using a safety pin, thread one ribbon from left to right and then a second ribbon from right to left, as shown in the photo.

Step 18

Tighten the ribbons to estimate the length, trim the excess if necessary. Tie a knot at the ends of the ribbons.

We suggest crocheting spring openwork bags for them. Best to use fine yarn: cotton, iris, acrylic, and hook 1.5 - 2.5. Even the most simple circuits will look impressive in white, as well as in bright colors and delicate spring shades.

We start knitting from the bottom in a circle, following the pattern. We periodically do a “try-on” and, if necessary, adjust the number of loops, evenly reducing the extra ones or adding additional ones for a loose fit. In the penultimate row we alternate double crochets and chain stitches, leaving holes to thread the ribbon through. Make sure that the egg fits in the bag, thread the silk ribbon, and tie it.

The cover may have another design, consisting of two halves. Each one is knitted separately, then joined together by placing an egg inside, stitched, a ribbon is threaded and a bow is tied, and small decor is added.

Those who are familiar with the amigurumi technique or are just planning to knit toys can choose a model made from single crochets in a circle. For such a cover, it is best to take acrylic, cotton or mixed thread (cotton with acrylic), hook number 2 - 2.5. If the bag is tightly tied and will be sewn up, put a wooden, plastic egg or foam mold into it.

You can decorate the finished work with anything: a ribbon with flowers made from the same yarn and felt, ready-made small flowers, beads, seed beads. Embroidery in the form of green blades of grass and sun rays goes well with sewn-on details - there are no limits to imagination.

The basic shapes can be changed at your discretion, for example, by knitting only half of the openwork bag. Then sew “strings” to it, like a parachute, to create a hanging basket for decorating a composition of twigs. Solid multi-colored covers are the basis for Easter toys: chickens, birds, a pair of rabbits.

So, how to sew a RABBIT bag from fabric for the Easter holidays. For work we will need:

  • plain linen fabric for the front side of the bag,
  • cotton printed fabric for lining the bag,
  • threads for sewing parts and for embroidering the face,
  • needles,
  • sewing machine,
  • scissors,
  • braid or rope.

Let's get to work. We print on a printer or transfer directly from the monitor screen the template of the bag and rabbit ears. Before printing, you need to enlarge the pattern to the size of the bag you need.

We sew together the details of the ears and combine the linen fabric with the printed fabric. Do not forget to make notches along the round edge with scissors; when turning the parts inside out, we will get neat, well-turned ears.

We turn the ears inside out and stitch them from the front side along the edge, like this:
