Angel - knitted doll. Description for crochet.

Dear Christmas Angels - by tying them, you will give them the protection of your home, and it will also be a good gift for loved ones.

Size - about 18 cm

Materials and tools:

You can use any thread, because... no starching is required (in my version, the threads are Turkish acrylic “etamine”), for the wings and bell, Turkish iris with lurex, small piece foam rubber, thickness 10 mm, a little synthetic filler for the head and body, a piece of cardboard for the base, a small piece of fabric for the cone and base, a hook for the thickness of the threads, small beads or large beads for decoration (in my version, Czech beads).

Legend:

VP - air loop

Sc - single crochet

Dc - double crochet

CC - connecting post

Inc - increase (2 stitches in one loop of the previous row)

Dec - decrease (knit 2 stitches of the previous row together)

Head - body:

Knitted in a spiral with single crochets

Chain of 2 v.p.

1st row: 6 sc in 2nd loop from hook (6)

2nd row: increase in each loop of the first row (12)

3rd row: (1sc, increase) x 6 times = 18

4th row: (2sc, increase) x 6 times = 24

5th row: (3sc, increase) x 6 times = 30

6th row: (4sc, increase) x 6 times = 36

7 - 13 rows: 36 sc = 36

Row 14: (4sc, decrease) x 6 times = 30

Row 15: (3sc, decrease) x 6 times = 24

Row 16: (2sc, decrease) x 6 times = 18

Row 17: (4sc, decrease) x 3 times = 15

18 - 19 rows: 15 sc = 15 (Stuff your head with synthetic filler)

Row 20: (1sc, increase) x 7 times, 1sc = 22

21 row: 22 sc = 22

22nd row: (2sc, increase) x 7 times, increase = 30

23 - 29 rows: 30 sc = 30

Row 30: (3 sc, decrease) x 6 times = 24

Rows 31 - 33: 24 sc = 24 Cut the thread, leaving 20 cm for sewing the body to the skirt.

Knit the skirt separately. It’s more convenient to customize and correct all the shortcomings. Knit in complete rows with a rise stitch, alternating a row of sc, the next row of dc.

Cast on a chain of 25 ch and connect into a ring.

1st row: ch, 24 sc, connect = 24

2nd row: 3ch, (dc, increase) repeat, connect = 36

3rd row: ch, 36 sc, connect = 36

4th row: 3ch, (5 dc, increase) x 6, connect = 42

Row 5: ch, 42 sc, connect = 42

6th row: 3 ch, 42 dc, connect = 42

7th row: ch, 42 sc, connect = 42

Row 8: ch 3, (6 dc, increase) x 6, connect = 48

Row 9: ch, 48 sc, connect = 48

Row 10: ch 3, (7 dc, increase) x 6 = 54

11th row: ch, 54 sc, connect = 54

Row 12: ch 3, (8 dc, increase) x 6 = 60

Row 13: ch, 60 sc, connect = 60

Row 14: ch 3, (9 dc, increase) x 6 = 66

From row 15 to row 26 we alternate the row of sc and the row of dc = 66

ATTENTION: rows 21; 23; 25; we knit behind the back wall of the dc. We knit fans on the front jumper.

FANS: ch, skip 1 loop of the previous row, on the next we knit a fan of 7 dc, skip one loop, sc in the loop of the previous row, etc. to the end of the row.

In our version, we get three rows of fans. If desired, this amount can be increased.

Next we proceed to assembling the body. We make the base of the skirt from foam rubber 1cm thick. First, we make a pattern of a truncated cone on paper. From the corner we measure 9 cm and 20 cm, draw 2 circles, we get a half-sun-flared pattern, cut out the pattern, then cut out a blank from foam rubber, lengthen the strip a little so that the base is denser and a second blank from fabric to match the angel. Roll the foam rubber into a tube and cover it with fabric. Then cut a piece of cardboard to the size of the resulting cone, cover it with the same fabric and sew it to the cone. Then put a knitted skirt on the finished cone.

2.

If desired, the bottom can be sewn to the cone, or it can be left free. Fill the upper body with padding polyester and sew it to the lower part of the body.

3.

GUIDELINES (2 parts)

Chain of 2 v.p.

2nd row: increase in each loop of the first row (10)

3rd row: (1sc, increase) x 5 times = 15

4th row: 15 sc = 15

Row 5: (3 sc, decrease) x 3 = 12

Row 6: (2 sc, decrease) x 3 = 9, fill the palm a little with padding polyester

Rows 7-22: 9 sc = 9 sc, cut the thread, fasten, sew the arms to the body.

SLEEVES (2 parts)

Chain of 2 v.p.

1st row: 5 sc in 2nd loop from hook (5)

2nd row: 3 ch, 5 dc = 5

3rd row: ch, increase, 3 sbn, increase = 7

4th row: 3 ch, 9 dc = 9

Row 5: ch, increase, 7 sc, increase = 11

6th row: 3ch, increase, 9 dc, increase = 13

7th row: ch, increase, 11 sc, increase = 15

Row 8: ch 3, 15 dc = 15

Row 9: ch, 15 sc = 15

Row 10: knitting fans.

4.

HAIR - CURLS:

Cast on a chain of 8 ch and connect into a ring. Next, alternate simple chains of 40 -45 ch with chains made in the following way (curls):

We knit a chain of 45 - 48 ch, in the 2nd loop from the hook we knit 25 sc increases, then a chain of 20 ch, attach to the ring.

Each chain can be knitted separately, or it can be attached to the previous chain. In this way we tie the required number of chains to evenly fill the back of the head. Sew the hair evenly to the head, alternating a simple chain with a curl. The yellow angel's curls are raised up and pinned to her head. The white angel has simple chains knitted, sewn to his head, and a bunch of twisted threads is attached to the back.

5.

The wings are crocheted with Turkish iris and lurex 1.25

Cast on a chain of 30 ch plus 1 ch (increase stitch)

1st row: Knit 30 sc along the chain;

2nd row: 2 hc, 5 sc, 3 decreases sc, hdc, 8 dc, increase dc, 3 increases dc2n, dc, hdc, 2 sc; (31)

3rd row: 2 sc, hdc, 1 dc, 5 increases dc, 9 dc, 3 decreases dc, 2 hdc, 5 dc; (33)

4th row: skip treble, 6 ps, 3 sc, hdc, 18 dc, hdc, 3 sc; (32)

Row 5: a thin wire is tied (I use a wire that matches the threads, used for beading, diameter 0.33 - 0.4 mm, comes in different colors) with single crochets on both sides of the wing. Using a wire, the position of the wing is fixed, its contour and size are adjusted

Row 6: We tie the wing in a “crawfish step” as follows: 2 ch, ( (sc, ch) through the column) repeat until the end. We tie the second wing with a “crawfish step” in a mirror image.

How can you decorate a Christmas tree beautifully? Can buy beautiful toys, garlands, bright firecrackers and others original jewelry. Or you can go the other way - make them yourself, involving the whole family in this activity. For example, children will be able to do interesting decorations from paper, plastic boxes and other available materials, and mom can knit a beautiful angel. The work, however, is quite painstaking, but the result will exceed all expectations. The master class and a detailed diagram will help make angel crochet work enjoyable and exciting. This cute product can be not only a decoration for the Christmas tree and home, but also an excellent souvenir that can be given as a gift. The Christmas holidays will become even warmer with these beautiful crafts, the diagrams of which even a novice needlewoman can understand. Angels are the most beautiful knitted symbol of Christmas.

Openwork weightless angel

Knitted toys have some kind of special magnetism; they charm and warm. And this sweet, airy angel will please everyone who sees him. It is not difficult to knit it, and such work will bring a lot of pleasure. A master class with a detailed description will make it easier to knit this openwork and light decoration for the Christmas tree or just for the interior.

Materials

This cute Christmas angel can be knitted with white yarn, a product in a soft blue color will look good. Iris yarn is best suited; you should not take synthetic yarn, but rather linen or cotton. You also need a crochet hook No. 1 - 1.5. You will need padding polyester or any other filler, pins, PVA glue, cling film, plasticine, and decorative tape.

Description

Head

These cute Christmas angels are crocheted from the top of the head. You need to start with a chain of air loops enclosed in a ring. The chain must be tied in a circle, increasing the number of loops. And thus form a knitted ball (this will be the head), and when it is almost ready, it must be stuffed with padding polyester. Reduce the number of loops to the initial cast-on edge. There is no need to break the thread.

Torso

Knit the body without tearing the thread from the head. Detailed master class not needed here, since you need to make the body in the form of a cone with any arbitrary pattern. Experienced needlewomen can use their favorite patterns or come up with something unusual, and beginners can be advised to knit double crochets.

Sleeves and arms, wings

The Christmas angel is almost ready, now we need to make knitted sleeves and arms. It is important to place them symmetrically.
Separately make knitted wings in the shape of a butterfly (no need to sew them on yet).

Shaping toys

Take plasticine and mold it into a cone that will fit the size of the tied torso. Wrap the prepared cone in cling film. Place the angel's body on this base and securely secure it with pins at the bottom. Take glue and generously lubricate the body of the toy with it. Be sure to soak your head, but you don’t need to be zealous. Knitted hands and also moisten the sleeves in glue and give them the desired shape. Do the same with the wings, only you need to fix them with pins, leveling them on a piece of film.

When everything is dry, all connected parts can be connected. Sew on the wings, additionally securing them with glue. When the toy is completely dry, you can tie a decorative cord to the back of the angel and hang it on the Christmas tree or in another place.

Such a simple master class is convenient because every knitter can choose what she likes best, use her favorite patterns and patterns.

Angel knitted with granny square pattern

Hands

When 1 loop remains at the end of knitting the ball, you can proceed to creating handles.
Cast on 14 ch, then make 1 st in the 8th loop from the beginning. b/n, tie 7 ch. Connect to the beginning of the chain. Do the same for the second handle.

Nimbus

Now there will be a master class on knitting a halo for a toy.
1 p.: 20 v.p.;
2 p.: rise, 1 tbsp. b/n, in the next 2 loops knit 2 tbsp. b/n, and then in each - 2 ss2n. Knit 2 ss3n into 3 loops, then make 2 yarn overs, etc. in mirror order.
Connect the ends of the headband, leaving threads so that it can be sewn to the head.

Granny squares

A master class on creating a granny square will teach you how to create this simple but beautiful knitted pattern. You will need 3 squares. The classic granny square is knitted like this:
6 v.p. - into a ring;
1 r.: 3 ch, 2 tbsp. s/n, 2 vp, 3 tbsp. s/n., repeat twice;
Rows 2-4: knit under v.p. 3 tbsp. s/n, and between them make 2 vp;
The corners of the square are obtained like this: 3 tbsp. s/n, 2 vp, 3 tbsp. s/n.
Tie 2 colored squares with white yarn and connect them. Sew all the details.

The knitted crystal angel for the Christmas tree is ready!

Even in the time of our great-grandmothers, it was believed that a doll made by hand would bring good luck to its owner and serve as a kind of amulet. And even today, when store shelves are full of a wide variety of toys, knitted dolls manually are very popular. Large and small, themed and collectible - they can become not only excellent and absolutely safe fun for children, but also an original gift for adults, because a piece of the craftswoman’s soul is put into each product.

To tie knitted doll is not difficult, so anyone who has at least some knitting skills can create their own knitted “girlfriend” without much difficulty. There are many patterns for knitting dolls, and after choosing the desired product, you can safely begin the process itself. And in order to better understand how to knit a doll with knitting needles, it would be useful to study the process step by step.

In order for the product to turn out to be of high quality, it is important to take a responsible approach to the choice of materials that will be needed during manufacturing:

  1. Yarn. The most important selection criteria are strength and safety. The threads should hold their shape well, not form “pellets”, be smooth and even. It is also important to pay attention to the color: it is better not to use too bright, “poisonous” shades, since “chemical” dyes are often used to color them, which can cause allergic reactions. The same goes for flowers that shed.
    It's better to choose natural species yarn - cotton or linen. They are pleasant to the body and safe, but there is a drawback - they are a little dull. If you need a rich color or a bright shade, you can use acrylic threads or mixed yarn (acrylic with natural thread);
  2. In order for the doll to turn out neat, it is important to choose the correct size of knitting needles that matches the thickness of the selected yarn. As a rule, yarn labels always indicate the number of knitting needles recommended for knitting. But we recommend taking knitting needles one size smaller so that when knitting small parts there are no holes left;
  3. Filler. Exactly from the right choice The filler depends on the shape of the doll. It holds best, is easily pushed into even the narrowest corners, and holofiber and synthetic down evenly fill the space.

MK dolls Susan (author Alona Rabinovich)

There is a very interesting artist in England - Suzanne Woolcott, very young, born in 1977. She draws girls who just beg to be dolls. Here's what Suzanne says about her girls: “The lack of facial expression makes them more sincere, the lack of emotion is colored by a strong expression of grief with a hint of hope. My art is a profound expression of the lost childhood innocence in all of us.” In honor of the artist who inspired me to create this cutie, I named her Susan.
