To begin the creative process, get corrugated paper. It is inexpensive, it is easy to purchase it in a store. Corrugated material is available in a wide range of colors.

You can buy monophonic options or rolls with a soft transition of shades. They offer virtually unlimited possibilities for translating interesting ideas into reality.

For the manufacture of flowers you need such materials:

  • corrugated paper;
  • cardboard;
  • wire;
  • glue;
  • cotton wool;
  • paper clips;
  • threads.

If you plan to make bouquets with sweets, then they acquire sweets in advance, which will become an important component of the product.

To work, you need the following tools:

  • scissors;
  • a simple pencil;
  • pliers;
  • silicone gun.

To make beautiful flowers, carefully monitor living plants. Each has its own structural features, which is taken into account in the manufacture. To get large flowers from corrugated paper, increase the standard pattern to the desired size.

The technology for performing the work is no different from the usual procedure for making flowers. But for a bouquet of large plants you will need more materials. They will be a magnificent decoration of the interior at the celebration.

Corrugated Paper Rose

The Queen of Flowers always looks great in a single copy and in bouquets. This delicate flower is easy to make on your own.

Step-by-step instruction:

  • On the cardboard draw petals, leaves. To do this, you can use ready-made patterns or remove them from a real rose.
  • In the blanks of the petals make small indentations with your fingers to give the elements the desired shape.
  • The length of the legs is chosen at the request of the craftswoman, for this wire is carefully cut with pliers.
  • Prepare small pieces of wire of a smaller diameter, on which green leaves will be attached.
  • The end of the wire is bent with pliers to form a bud. Cotton wool is used for this, or the middle of the flower is simply wrapped in paper.
  • Alternately, the petals begin to glue to the core, starting with the smallest detail. To securely fasten the elements, a strong thread in tone is used.
  • The flower is ready. Now you need to take a small strip of corrugated paper. She wraps around the stem, on which pre-prepared leaflets are attached. This is the final build phase.
  • Petals and leaves neatly straightened.

If you make several flowers, then they are collected in a bouquet. There is an easier way to make roses. It takes only 15 minutes for one flower.

A strip of 10 cm wide is cut out of long paper. The edge of the workpiece is made uneven by pinching with your fingers along the entire length. After this operation, the strip is folded into a bud, it is attached to the wire by a thread. You can create an amazing composition in just 1 hour.

Beginners are worried about how to make flowers from corrugated paper. This requires the preparation of materials and tools, be patient and get to work. If you follow the instructions exactly, you can get an excellent result.

Corrugated Peony

For a luxurious peony, paper of different shades is required. A strip is cut from each roll. The size of an element depends on its distance from the core. The dark color is closer to the center, after which there is a transition to lighter shades. The resulting elements are folded accordion, they should all have the same width.

The edge of each component is shaped like a petal. The middle parts of the obtained blanks are combined and stacked in size. All components are rewound with a thread, a flower is formed.

Corrugated Tulips

Take a template and cut out the petals. Each of them tightens the tip, gives the shape of a cup at the base. Then they begin to form a bud; glue is used during this operation.

Elements are alternately wound to the core. After this operation, a strip of green paper wraps around the stem. Cut sheets are attached to the stem.

Corrugated paper flowers with sweets

A rectangle is cut out of paper, folded in half, on one side the edges are cut with scissors. A candy is placed in such a blank. The material in the center is slightly stretched by hands. On the one hand, the edge is fixed with an elastic band. A wire is used as a stalk; it is attached to the base of the flower. You can use a silicone gun for this.

Cut out the petals. They need to be shaped by stretching the middle and twisting the edges of the workpiece. For a lush flower, more petals are cut out. They are attached to the bud with thread and glue. This fixation provides a reliable connection of all components. You can also use gum for this.

Leaves are cut out of green paper and fixed at the base. The stalk is wrapped in green paper. A bouquet of flowers will be a great gift for the holiday. Small bows will give the composition a festive look, they are fastened with skewers. Such a surprise will definitely be appreciated.

Finding ready-made stencils is easy, you can make them yourself. Do not worry if the elements are different. In nature, there are no two absolutely identical leaves. Fold the paper several times to speed up the cutting process.

You can achieve a natural color of the petal if you apply a darker paint to the base with a brush. Using a variety of shades in one flower will give it a natural look.

Patterns are sorted and stacked in separate envelopes that they sign. When a specific element is needed again, it will not be necessary to begin the process by developing a template.

Conclusion

Amazing compositions for the holiday, unusual gifts are made of corrugated paper. Simple flowers will help to decorate the table, complement the interior.

An unusual option will turn out if you use different plants. Bright poppies, delicate cornflowers and daisies are combined in a field bouquet. Multi-colored asters complement with greens to give the composition a finished look.

Bouquets of corrugated paper and sweets are especially popular. Sweet tooth will like them. You can collect any flower. It is important only to choose the right shape, size and number of petals.

To create flowers you do not need to attend expensive courses, purchase tool kits. The manufacturing technology is simple and understandable even for beginner craftswomen. Working with such material will delight adults and children.

Photo of flowers made of corrugated paper

Corrugation is a unique material from which you can create any flowers for a unfading bouquet. Often it is used for wedding compositions - understudies. Not every bride wants to part with her bouquet of fresh flowers, with which she spent her entire happy day, because there is a belief that he brings happiness to young people if they put him in the house. Therefore, many decide to make a bouquet of corrugated paper with their own hands to throw it to girlfriends.

Material

Corrugated paper is dense. To make different types of colors, paper with a density of 120 to 180 grams is used, which stretches well and is suitable for making realistic compositions.

The folds on this material are called flutes, they are of three types:

  • For packaging - A-flute (4.8 mm).
  • To create large paper flowers - B-flute (3.2 mm).
  • For small buds - E-flute (1.6 mm).

The palette is the most diverse - from delicate colors to metallic.

To create bouquets of corrugated paper with your own hands, you will also need:

  • wooden skewers (sticks) for stems;
  • type tape used to decorate the base of the flower and stem;
  • wire;
  • scissors or a knife (clerical);
  • candy or foam balls to form the center of the flower;
  • threads (usually metallized) for attaching petals and leaves;
  • glue gun.

They may also come in handy: baskets, frames, ribbons and much more, which is enough for the author’s imagination.

Principles and Rules

Corrugated compositions will be able to decorate any interior or act as an ideal gift. Here are a few general rules that will allow you to make a bouquet of paper with your own hands:

  • If the same petals are cut, it is better to do several at once, folding the corrugation in several layers.
  • Depending on the type of flower, the number of petals differs, for small roses - 2-3, for large roses - at least 4, for daisies - 2-3. A variety of sizes depends on their quantity.
  • Make even and identical petals and leaves are not necessary. They need to be made unique and different, as it happens in nature.
  • Each petal wound on a stalk needs to be smeared with glue in the base.
  • When wrapping the stalks on the stem, the petals should be well kneaded with the fingers to twist the part to be wrapped and the paper should be twisted in a spiral along the stem. The stronger the petal is pressed, the denser they will be to each other. By doing this procedure from the same petals, you can adjust their height and make them completely different in appearance.

To make a flower leg, you need to take a wire or a stick, which turns into a long thin strip cut from a green corrugation, or a tape tape. The tape must be constantly glued and screwed onto the base. There is an option to twist the paper, and a drop of glue to fix its edge. To make a composition of these flowers, it is worth leaving 1/3 of the stem from the bottom without decoration. Now it remains to learn how to make bouquets of corrugated paper with your own hands, using step-by-step instructions.

Master classes

Below are the most interesting options for the manufacture of such compositions.

Of sweets and roses

Using round candies, you can collect an elegant rose bud and make a beautiful bouquet that is suitable as a gift for a wedding, anniversary or other occasion.

It will require:

  • scissors (large and small);
  • round sweets;
  • corrugated paper (pink - for buds, green - for leaves and stem);
  • foil (in our case, gold);
  • wire for the stem;
  • capacity where the bouquet will be formed;
  • polystyrene or floristic sponge;
  • glue gun;
  • thread (metallized in foil color).

Making a rose:

  • We wrap the candy in foil and fix the base with a metallized thread.

  • To form the bud, we cut pink corrugated paper into squares. For our young rose you will need 2 small squares. We put them together, then cut in half and round one corner.

  • Put the prepared candy in golden foil on corrugated paper, fix the last with a metallized thread.

  • We make one square of green corrugation, from one edge it is necessary to cut the cloves, as shown in the photo below, wrap around the bud and secure with a glue gun.

  • We form the stem. On a wire we wind a strip cut out of corrugated paper, or a tape tape, fixing everything with glue. It is necessary to leave the lower part of the stem empty.

  • We insert the finished buds into a floral sponge, pre-cut under the shape of the container. You can fill the voids with ribbons, beads on a wire or just corrugation, cut into thin green strips.

A self-made bouquet of roses from corrugated paper is ready and will be able to decorate any interior or surprise its recipient.

Wedding arrangement

Required:

  • corrugation (2-3 colors);
  • different colors satin ribbon (thin and wide);
  • stationery glue;
  • cardboard roll (from under foil or cling film);
  • compact disc;
  • thin lace;
  • styrofoam;
  • skewers.

We make the bride’s bouquet of corrugated paper with her own hands:

  • Trim part of the cardboard roll to get the right part for the composition handle. Cut off the white tape (length 1.5-2 meters) and with the glue gun connect the tip to the CD, start wrapping it around. When the entire surface of the CD is closed, you need to trim the excess part, fixing its edge with hot glue.
  • To decorate the bouquet, you will need to cut lace and a wide green satin ribbon. Glue them to the CD from one side - first one end, then the other, alternating the tape with lace. On the side you can make a bow from the same elements or just leave the hanging ribbons. The edges of the ribbon must be treated with fire, so that in the process of wearing the bouquet, they do not loosen.
  • Cooking leg composition. In one end of the cardboard roll, hammer in the foam and glue the edges with a thin tape, then along the entire length, strengthening everything with a hot glue gun.
  • Make roses. It is necessary to cut wide strips of corrugation, folding them in half, begin to twist in a spiral. It is advisable to adjust the length of each layer so that they differ. The center is always made higher. The result is very beautiful flowers for a bouquet of corrugated paper with your own hands, as in the photo.

  • We form the composition by preparing for this a hemisphere cut from foam. It must be glued to the disk. Glue the first rose to the very top. The remaining roses are glued in a circle further, alternating them in color in a checkerboard pattern.

  • Glue the stem of the bouquet. Taking a few skewers, you need to stick them in the center of the disk from the bottom so that they enter the hemisphere with roses. Apply hot glue to the skewers and string the finished leg. Before that, it is necessary to correctly calculate the length of the sticks in order to remove the excess.
  • It remains to decorate the junction of the legs with the disk with satin ribbons, you can add a beautiful brooch.

This option can be decorated with beads, which will give it romance and tenderness, or make any other types of flowers. If you do everything according to the instructions, the composition will be very durable.

Do-it-yourself wedding bouquet of corrugated paper is often made by brides for their girlfriends. This is a very economical option, despite the required amount.

Packaging

As a package for a bouquet of corrugated paper, made by yourself, the following options are ideal:

  • wrapping paper from which horns and bags are made;
  • grid;
  • corrugation;
  • cardboard horns;
  • "Pot" of burlap;
  • rice paper, etc.

You don’t need a lot to make a bouquet of flowers from corrugated paper with your own hands, the most important thing is fantasy, and it’s very simple to realize an idea with such universal material.

MK Tulips from corrugated paper: video

Good afternoon, today I’m finally unloading a large selection of paper flower master classes. Here are the most interesting ways to make flowers out of paper. We will make a variety of flowers - flat and voluminous - from corrugated paper and from dense color. I will show each craft step by step in photosand I will give as much as possible detailed instructions  to every flower made in one way or another. As well as stencils  - templates of silhouettes of flowers. All the crafts I have collected are uploaded in order from simple to complex. First of all, we will take to study the methods of folding paper flowers MOST INTERPRETE (those that are easy to understand and repeat by ourselves) ... and gradually we will move on to MORE DIFFICULT and painstaking instructions (to prefabricated detailed colors and to the origami technique). And I also uploaded a special article devoted to different ways to make a paper rose - here is a link to it

And, for educators (teachers and educators)  I made an article with simple children's crafts FLOWERS, which can be done in the classroom at school and kindergarten from paper and other materials:

I specifically decided to do so big  a selection of paper flowers in one place - with the goal that you can immediately find a suitable flower assembly scheme for the PAPER YOU HAVE, and for the task that you want to solve with paper flowers (flower crafts as a gift for mom, decorating a child’s birthday with voluminous floral arrangements, wedding decoration, decor of cards or gift bags).

The only thing that I did not enter into the body of this article is ROSES FROM PAPER. I found ways to make a volumetric rose so muchthat I had to put these crafts in a separate article on the same site, it will be called "Paper roses - 20 ways to make yourself."

But before starting the workshops themselves, I want to fall in love with the very idea of \u200b\u200bpaper flowers. I want even casual visitors to this web page to have their hands combed and their eyes lit up. And I want to awaken in you the enthusiasm and burning desire to make a flower with your own hands. For this magic to arise ... so that your soul also spreads its petals and blooms ...

Let's see what piece of life can decorate your flower. Here are examples of how ordinary table setting can become very beautiful and solemn with lush floral crafts.

Also, large paper flowers made of crepe or corrugated paper are used for decorative purposes. for the celebration  - wedding hall, children's birthday, incendiary party. They are mounted on the wall or on the backs of chairs, tied to window handles.

But such large flowers can be made from A4 paper (office format) or from a roll of corrugated crepe paper.

Photographers and photo studios also use large bulk paper flowers as exclusive props  for staged photos.

And you can make such a big flower out of paper simply - as a gift for Mother's Day, or on March 8th. Nobody has ever given such a thing to your mother. It will be remembered for a long time. And you can take a picture of your mom right away with this flower - she is proud to post this photo on her page in the social network.

Ordinary plastic combs, rims and metal studs can also be decorated with voluminous paper colors. So we get smart jewelry for hairstyles  for a wedding or party.

Miniature paper flowers can decorate handmade cards, and other crafts in the scrapbooking technique (such as, for example, these delicate pansies from corrugated paper).

Do-it-yourself flower made of paper is the best gift box decoration. And not expensive for money. A lush gift ribbon costs much more than a pair of sheets of colored or white office paper - a few movements with scissors and here on your packaging a paper orchid or delicate pink wild rose blossoms.

And the flowers themselves can be great stand-alone gift. If you design your work in the form of a basket, or a decorative panel (as in the photo with poppies from colored paper).

If you learn how to make flowers from paper with your own hands, you can use this talent. in many areas of life. It will become simple and easy for you to decorate the hall for any holiday, decorate your home family celebration or beautifully arrange gifts for relatives and friends, or entertain the neighboring kids by organizing an interesting handicraft with a master class.

METHOD №1

PAPER FLOWERS

Flowers made in this way, I decided to call "Puffs"  because their construction principle is the same as that of puff pastry. Thin layers of floral silhouettes stacked on top of each other. And each layer is assigned convex volume  (or faceted relief), and due to this, the flower looks lush and voluminous.

Here in the photo below we see a step-by-step master class for beginners on creating such a voluminous dahlia flower. It is a dahlia - not to be confused with an aster, the aster has narrower petals and each has a face (a relief fold like on trousers).

So ... let's look carefully at the flower-crafts photo below. The trick here is that they cut from paper layer outlines  - each circuit has six petals, and differs from its counterparts only in size.  That is, the shape of the stencil is the same - only the size is different.

Before gluing, each cut paper arching the silhouette  in order to ask him a natural form. We begin gluing-assembling paper dahlia from small  middle layers to more and more large.

You of course had the QUESTION:  “And how to cut such uniformly sized petal circles-layers.

ANSWER:  Here is the most quick and easy way  make such a flower with your own hands a novice master. It does not require searches for a stencil template, but allows you to get geometrically even petal details for a paper flower yourself without any measuring instruments (compasses and rulers).

  1. We take a sheet of paper and glasses and glasses different radius. We circle them on a sheet of paper.
  2. We cut the resulting rounds, add each round four times and again in half (as when cutting snowflakes). And on such a folded into a triangle round draw the outlines of two petals (like a heart).
  3. We cut this contour with scissors (see photo below) - deepen the cutout in the middle of the heart - unfold and get a petal layer.

Because  we have different sizes of circles - we’ll get petal layers different in size. We set the relief, put it together, add the yellow stamen to the middle (the stamens will be discussed a little lower).

Such a delicate flower can be strung on a wire (make a stalk) and give a paper bouquet for Mother's Day to your mother.

ANSWER: An ordinary round stick (pencil or pen, or knitting needle) can serve as that stamp to print the relief on the petals. Here's how to do it yourself, is clearly visible in the photo-crafts of the flower below.

The assembly diagram of the flower is the same as the previous one (see step-by-step photos).

PAPER PAPER  You can make a variety of voluminous flowers (anemones, poppies, asters, dahlias, roses). The evidence in the photo below.

You see - the same “puff” method - but completely different flowers come out. And all due to the fact that silhouettes of paper petal layers DIFFERENT IN ITS DESIGNS.

And do not forget that not only the contour (silhouette, shape of the petal) is important ... but the RELIEF of the petals is also important. It is the correctly defined relief that turns flat outlines into living convex layers of the future flower.

For relief we need  round sticks of various thicknesses (thin knitting needles, toothpicks, thick round-sided markers, felt-tip pens, spherical caps from perfumes, or lollipops). Any items that help set the shape.

So that the relief neatly rests on thick paper  - it may be necessary to moisten it slightly before work (sprinkle from the pultivator or hold it on a wet towel). Try it and see how it works best - dry or wet.

And here you are ready-made templates  paper puff flower. Flower stencils - already several sizes. You can right now  put a sheet of paper on the glowing screen and draw a pencil over these silhouettes that appear from the screen onto your sheet of paper (this is my favorite way copy a template without any printer - not every house has a printing device).

And you can do it yourself resize any template   using a computer mouse.

Look here - in the photo below I give you a patterned silhouette. ONE-Sized Silhouette. Do you want to get this silhouette? different sizes  - to make a layered paper craft flower.

To resize this silhouette, you press with one hand on the keyboard the buttonCtrl  , and while holding this button down, turn the mouse wheel with your second hand - back and forth.And from this your action, everything that is drawn on your screen now increases or decreases, depending on where you turn the wheel - from yourself or to yourself.

Here try it now  - press and turn. See how the stencil image below resized? In this way you can right on the computer screen to fit the template to any size and circle it with a pencil on a sheet of paper laid on the screen of your monitor. This is the fastest way to get the shape of any flower stencil immediately in any sizes we need.

Here you have curly patterns of future paper colors - and you can already change the size of the picture yourself. And you yourself can design and create any flower from paper with your own hands.

And let's take a closer look at interesting additions to such puff colors.

How to make a stamen

in puff paper colors.

Here is an interesting step-by-step lesson where we see how a stamen is created in stages for a multi-layered flower made of paper.

How to make out

large inflorescence

on one stalk.

And I would also like to show another price here tricky and easy trickwhich allows you to do whole inflorescence of flowers on one stalk. In nature, such flowers are often found, where many cups of flowers nest in one place and have common central stalk.

It is such a flower-crafts that will now be demonstrated by a step-by-step master class in the photo below.

  1. We cut out stems with a common round base from green thick paper (or cardboard). On this round base we glue double-sided tape.
  2. We twist the tube from the newspaper and wrap it with green paper. Glue the stem tube to the round base - twisting it around the stem.
  3. We make flowers (from two red layers and one black stamen). We stick each flower on its stalk. We glue wide leaves to the central stem-leg. It turns out a very beautiful stem-bouquet of paper.

How to make a puff flower

WITH ASYMMETRIC PETALS.

But in the photo below, we see from what shape the paper flower ORCHID is made with its own hands.

In a glass of water spread a drop of green paint  - we get a light green water. Wet the white details of the orchid with this water, they become white-green (exactly the same as in nature).

Further while the pale green petals are still wet, we apply purple paint lines on them - on wet paper the lines themselves are slightly blurry - an uneven blurry color is obtained (exactly like a real orchid).

The middle part of the orchid is upper layer  we also make it green ... and along the very edge (right along the cut of the paper) we paint in bright purple. Thus, when we raise this upper layer, the violet edges stick out with their color upwards imitating the position and color of the furry central orchid petals.

By the same principle are created various asymmetric flower crafts. Let us recall what other flowers do not have circular symmetry in their cup ... correctly, these are Pansies of the eye (photo below).

  1. Lower blue layer  petals (only 2 pieces with location in the upper side).
  2. Later layer of blue  petals (also 2 pieces spread out to the sides).
  3. And the third top layer in the form just one white petal.
  4. Then we smear the central part of the flower with yellow, draw the central lines with a pencil. From crumpled paper we make yellow balls of stamen (or from plasticine).

A simple hand-made article, which even a child can do. The main thing is to prepare in advance the patterns that the child will circle on colored paper.

Volumetric puff flower

from THIN paper.

Such techniques as “different sizes of layers” and “work on folding the relief on paper petals” we do only when we use the usual DENSE COLOR PAPER

But if  If you are making flower crafts from CREP, corrugated crumpled paper, then the relief there can not be set. The texture of the paper itself will make a fluffy volumetric flower.

Moreover,  corrugated paper structure allows you to not even bother with getting DIFFERENT SIZES. I.e all layers of the flower may be the same size. Here are paper color master classes below that just prove it.

See? All layers of the flower are the same in size.We pierce the middle of the layers folded in half with a hole punch (or with a needle and thread, or fasten with a stapler). Expand the flower and fluff its layers into a fluffy pompom. These are very beautiful large flowers made of paper.

This is perhaps the easiest and fastest way to make a flower with your own hands. It turns out to be large, magnificent rich and expressive.

If you choose two-color napkins - and apply them with alternating colors, we get a game of halftones in each layer, and our flower will look like a rose.

You see, in the method below, we make the same silhouettes from two-color napkins (in shape and size like twin brothers). Under the bottom we put a piece of cardboard with two holes (like a button ... however, cardboard can be replaced with a button). And we thread the holes and pierce through all the layers of the napkin. We tie a knot in the middle of the flower - and with our hands we fluff up all the corrugated layers of the craft.

Think for yourself how you can diversify and complement this air-napkin flower. You can still add border color  - For this, cut out the napkin silhouettes slightly around the edges with an office marker.

Turn on the fantasy ... and give it plenty to show off over napkins. Tea and shortages in napkins no one has. And suddenly you will give birth to your own author's flower.

And in the same way red carnations are made. The same round circles with a serrated edge - and deep cuts on the petal parts are also cut out of the napkin. And then they simply overlap each other with a drop of glue in the center ... or instead of glue in the center we pierce them with a stick (there will be a stalk on it. Beautiful do-it-yourself flower craft on February 23rd for dad, or for Grandfather's Victory Day.

And exactly according to the same principle as carnations (in the step-by-step lesson above) terry daffodils of Lingery are made. Here they are, which are in nature - lush and voluminous.

Spring flowers made of paper are a good gift for mom on March 8th. And now you will find out how easy it is to make them yourself.

And here is how they can be made from colored paper napkins. We put a stack of napkins on top of each other - fold them into a quarter - with a triangle - cut off the serrated edges with a serrated circle. We paint the upper napkins in a bright yellow color, and the middle layers of napkins - in a light yellow color, leave the lower layer white.

Now about the material.   Daffodils are gorgeous, you say, but where to get these colors of paper (pale yellow and bright yellow) ?. Here, I tell you, there are 2 ways at once - 1) paint white paper napkins in 2 shades of yellow ... or 2) get a pale shade of yellow from bright yellow crepe crepe paper.

INSTRUCTION No. 1. How to paint a white paper towel.

ANSWER:  We paint a napkin in a straightened form - colored water. Paint the water in the cup and pour it onto the straightened napkin. We are waiting for the natural drying of the napkin (about a day).

INSTRUCTION No. 2. How to make light yellow color from bright yellow corrugated paper.

ANSWER:  Take crepe yellow paper - put it on a wet towel - put a dry white napkin on top. Stroking it with a duck - bright crepe paper gives its moisture to a dry napkin, and together with the moisture partially gives color. And we get the PAL YELLOW crepe paper. This way we can change the shades of crepe crepe paper.

As you can see, everything is solved -  if you turn on your head and think ... and try to experiment.   Knowledge often comes empirically (even if this path is mowed).One failed experience can be the source of several ideas at once. I somehow wet the crepe paper, ruined the craft - but then I saw that when soaked, crepe paper loses its color. And once I spilled some water for washing brushes on a paper napkin - and she painted in a gentle even color. So from two shoals - I got 2 experiences on color change for delicate and thin paper textures.

Well, it was all about the FIRST WAY to make paper flowers with your own hands. I specifically made this first chapter of our article so detailed and detailed so that you immediately understand a simple and important truth:

Even one single way can have MULTIPLE CONTINUES ... numerous options ... endless designs. And you yourself can become an author - and create your own flower from paper, made in the same way of “curly layers superimposed on each other” ».

And now let's look at the next way to make flowers from colored paper with our own hands.

METHOD №2

Paper flowers

TURNED IN A PIPE.

We have known this way of creating flowers since childhood. We all did classic flower crafts at school or kindergarten february 23 - red carnations from crumpled crepe paper. They twisted a strip of paper around a toothpick, wrapped a twist of a piece of green paper and fluffed a bun-panicle of a flower.

And it never crossed our minds that inside this primitive way the recipe of not only a modest clove is hiding.

This way " roll of crepe paper »  can give birth to completely different volumetric and flat flowers. It all depends on how we changed the EDGE FORM of the PAPER STRIP. Depending on its pattern, we get paper flowers that are completely different in design.

Here is a photo proof. See?

Different edge gives different flowers  - disheveled aster, neat chamomile, chrysanthemums. Even roses can be made in this way (but roses will be discussed in a separate article - thoroughly and in detail, as befits the Queen of Flowers).

And not only from soft corrugated (crepe) paper can you make flowers-crafts in this ROLL technique.

Here you are in the photo below - an example of paper flowers in the same roll spin technique  FROM USUAL DENSE COLOR PAPER (office double-sided colored paper).

Here is a simple job and a very simple instruction.

  1. A thin strip of paper was wound onto a thin rod (or toothpick) (to make the middle of the flower).
  2. And then a winding of a wider ribbon, already cut along the edge into strips of petals, was added to this rolled center.
  3. And the petals of the bends to the side - like an umbrella-wide-open.

And IF THIS SIMPLE BINDING TECHNIQUE ADD THRAW TO THE EXPERIMENT, YOU CAN RECEIVE NEW DESIGNS OF PAPER COLORS.

For example, what if ...these petals should not be bent to the sides with a flat camomile, but rather twist the tip of each petal inward (as we close the curls in the morning) - and we will already have a voluminous lush ASTRA.

But what if ... make a strip for a spin with DIFFERENT WIDTH SECTIONS.  The result of this plan we see in the photo diagram below.

  1. A narrow strip (1 cm wide) for the middle stamen (wrap in a tight roll on a toothpick).
  2. Next, we wind a petal strip (with a fringed edge) 2 centimeters wide on this roll.
  3. And then we wind a petal strip 2.5 cm wide ...
  4. and then a petal strip 3 cm wide.

And thanks to the different width of the strips, we get a flower-roll in which the height of the petals increases from the center to the edges.

As you can see, in this simple roll technique EXPERIMENTS can and should be done. We continue to encourage our inquisitiveness of the mind and decide on one more dashing idea ...

AND WHAT IF, fringe cut not directly, but HIS. And what if ... this oblique fringe is not cut along the edge Slicer, and along the edge of the BEND (that is, bend the strip in half along the entire length, and cut this bend line obliquely into the fringe, and then twist in this form.

The result we see in the photo below is an amazing aster with spiral twisted carved perforated petals. Beautiful flower crafts - it looks like a difficult job, and making it with your own hands is simple and quick.

Such shaggy flowers with oblique petals can be used as a shaggy stamen for other flowers.

Here's an example in this workshop in the photo below. See?

There, too, a bent strip is cut along the SQUARE Fringe ... and an orange shaggy stamen is formed - necessary for the design of the center of the paper aster.

By the way, the paper aster itself with the photo below is made very original in its simplicity.

  1. The base of the aster is puffs (multi-beam star with chopped rays).
  2. Each beam in the puff is bent with a slate ruler into a sharp arrow (as on trousers).
  3. Layers overlap each other - we get a magnificent flower.

And just the stamen inside this volumetric flower is made using the SHOE Fringe technique, which we just spoke about.

This roll technique can combine with the usual petal puff (Method number 1 from this article).. Yes - it is possible - because it is found in nature. God Himself once came to this idea - and created the flowers of MARGIN. And we will implement this method of combining a roll and puff on paper. (see how this is done on the infographic below).

In roll technology  the fluffy middle of the flower is performed. And in the technique of “Puff»The lower petal part of the marigold flower is made of paper (templates with five-leaf silhouettes). Photo-instructions for assembling the flower below.

But the rosehip flower - where the stamen-middle is also combined in the technique of roll twisting and 2 petal layers. By the way, they can be made of large A4 sheets and glued to the wall - and your living room will be transformed. Buy a bunch of red office paper at the stationery and play as an interior designer. All the neighbors will run away to poop with delight.

But the flower crafts where the roll technique is also used to create a fluffy stamen panicle, and the side petals are simply glued separately to the lower layers of the fluffy stamen panicle.

Big sunflower flowers from crepe paper turn out.

In a similar technique, a ROLL-BEAM + SEPARATE PETALS is made and the flower is a narcissus with its own hands.

But these flowers are THERE ARE LILENS, THERE ARE SALVIA - with a long stem of inflorescences also made in a roll technique.

Yes, yes, this is also an ordinary roll technique, with the only difference being that a strip of paper is not folded into a tube, but wrapped spiral roll around a long stick.

Here in the photo below is a master class of this magnificent flower made of paper.

  1. A wide strip of crepe (corrugated) paper cut into a long fringe.
  2. Fringes wrap on a toothpick  (or knitting needle) - and we get curlers along one edge of the tape.
  3. We take a long wooden skewer and around it we wrap our paper tape with curly fringe - the wrapping begins from the upper end of the wooden skewer and spirals down.
  4. Under the flower we do green winding stalk-skewers  and glue wide green leaves to this stem.

Paper roses flowers

wRAPPING method.

In roll technology, you can quickly roll a rose out of paper. On paper roses, we will have a separate article. But I will give two workshops right here - because they affect the roll technique of creating flowers.

Here is the first step-by-step master class of paper roses. Thick paper is used here, and so that the petal parts have the geometry of broken pink petals, you need this dense paper strip, in the process of folding into a roll, KIND AND ROLL around itself.

And do not pay attention to these centimeters... just take the very essence  this instruction. Cut a strip of paper from the draft and try to twist it into a rose, just bending the strip as God puts it in your soul - the paper itself will tell you where to bend it and turn it.

You will find many other options for making a paper rose from different types of paper in the article.

And here is another way  roll up a roll of paper to make it look like a rose. For such a roll, we need a paper strip NOT of a DIRECT FORM, but to make a strip of paper in a SPIRAL FORM.

Enough for this draw a snail on a piece of cardboard  (uneven curve, no matter which). This painted spiral will be the template of our flower made of paper.

Now this spiral line need to cut  and then start rolling up the roll NOT WITH THE MIDDLE SPIRAL ... but on the contrary WITH ITS EDGE. And in our hands a paper rose will appear by itself.

My advice, do not take for such a craft- roses coated with glossy glossy paper  - such an elastic rose will strive to turn around or spiral circles will slip out of the flower bed. It is better to choose rough paper or not very thick cardboard - so the rose will be better to keep its shape.

Paper flowers

Method number 3

In the POMPOMA technique.

And here is an even faster way to create a fluffy volumetric flower. It is made using the “pompom” technique - from corrugated crepe paper

This technique is good in that it allows you to quickly make large flowers out of paper - since crepe paper is sold in large rolls (like wallpaper). And each roll can turn into a large flower for decoration of the holiday.

The workshop in the photo below shows how to make such a magnificent paper flower with your own hands. We fold a wide (20 cm wide tape) several times to get layering in many layers. Cut the folded ribbon into a fringe WITH TWO EDGES, leave the middle whole.

We fluff the fringe of the flower in all directions - achieving the shape of a perfect circle. And we decorate the central part of the flower with a ball of black paper - and we get the resemblance of a flower to a disheveled poppy.

As you understand, the height of the petals depends on the length of the fringe. And the shape of the petals depends on the shape of the fringe.

Here below (a paper flower master class) we make anemones exactly in this pompom technique. The difference is that we slightly changed the shape of the fringe - it’s not even a fringe at all, but just a beautiful curly petal edge of the napkin.

As a result, the fluffy flower is no longer poppy - but a gentle anemone from paper.

And you can completely do not change the shape of the edge  - that is, in general, there is no way to cut it or fringe it. Leave as flat as it is on the napkin. Just lightly paint over with a marker.

And in the same technique, we make a pompom flower-carnation with our own hands. Squeezed by wire, folded in half - fluffed and got a clove on a wire leg.

It remains to add elements from green paper - receptacle  (wrap a serrated roll around the flower bowl), stalk  (a long green strip for wrapping the flower legs), leaflets (long oval stick to the stalk).

And you can make such a pompom flower two-tone with the middle of a different color (see photo below). To do this, we need paper strips in two colors - one wide (yellow), and the second 2 times narrower (black).

We prepare the strips - first we cut a wide strip into double-sided fringe (or a patterned edge also on both sides), then we make patterned edges on two and on a narrow strip.

To make a patterned petal edge  - you need to fold the strip into an accordion (as fans did in childhood) and make a rounding with scissors on both sides of this folded fan.

Later expand strips  and put a narrow black strip in the middle of the wide  yellow stripes. Fold them again with an accordion (already two-tone).

Tie the string  or wire. And we turn the sides of the fan in a circle - a flower is formed. If desired, the middle of the flower can be decorated with crumpled paper or cut fringe, glued between the blades of the black middle.

And here is a master class, where it is shown how to make a paper pompom flower with Fringe-Stamen with your own hands (photo instruction below).

The principle of creating this flower from paper in two colors is the same as in the previous workshop. Only here, the middle strip on two sides is shredded on a shallow fringe. This is another way to make large flowers from crepe paper.

Method number 4

Paper flowers

Twisted on a ball.

Here is another way to create flowers from corrugated crushed crepe paper.

To make such flowers out of paper, you need wide short strips of crepe paper and balls of different sizes (lollipops, balls). We put the ball on the strip and on both sides we hug the ball with the strip - we twist the tails-tips of the strip into a tight flagellum. Carefully take out the ball trying not to crush the inflated petal pattern. We make several such petals and collect them into a lush flower.

The same principle is used to make rounded petals of crocuses from corrugated paper (photo below). Here you need a paper strip already longer - it is placed on the ball with one of its half. The other half twists at the top of the ball and goes back beyond the back of the ball and lies on top of its first half. It turns out a rounded petal.

If you put such a petal close to each other, you get a cup of a closed crocus flower (as in the photo below). Great flower crafts on March 8 for mom.

You can make a lot of bouquets from crepe corrugated paper. Including bouquets of sweets.

Method number 5

FLOWERS from paper

In the technique of ORIGAMI.

And now we will talk about folding flowers out of paper - without any cutting with scissors. That is about the art of origami.

The first model is flowers with conical petals. Here they are, how handsome. Each petal of such a flower is made of a simple square of paper. In a simple origami technique.

All the finished petals are glued to each other - and in the center from gluing we apply a beautiful rhinestone-pebble.

Such handmade flowers are very simple and quick to make by ourselves - and they look very elegant on gift wrapping. They can even decorate a Christmas tree.

As soon as you pick up a small square of paper and look at the master class below, you will immediately make the same petal. It is very simple - you start to do and understand everything along the way. And you are surprised that this is not taught in kindergarten - everything is so simple and accessible to a simple person. After module 10, when the whole scheme of the flower has already been absorbed into your subconscious, your hands already do everything almost blindly - on the machine.

If you take a roll of plain wallpaper as paper and cut it into large squares, you can get large-sized flowers to decorate the hall or design a home celebration.

And also due to the fact that these flowers have the CONE shape - it is convenient to assemble them into one common large ball. And use it as a suspension. Or like a crown to a decorative tree (which usually decorate weddings).

And here is a master class of a large water lily and paper folding technique without cutting.

And here is an interesting way where the petal modules are made separately, and then each module is not glued, but simply inserted into the grooves of the adjacent module.

These handmade paper flowers can be a great craft for any occasion. You can now make paper flowers in various techniques and teach this to children. You can use these ideas to decorate the holiday or to practice in the Skillful Hands circle. Such flowers are suitable as crafts for the Spring contest at school or kindergarten. Or these flowers can be a gift for March 8 for mom - a bouquet of paper flowers made by yourself.
Many simple ideas  for children's crafts on the theme of flowers you will find in our other articles:

Good luck to you crafts.

The universal choice of gift ideas for any occasion and occasion. Amaze your friends and loved ones! ;)

Greetings, dear readers and visitors! I have repeatedly written that I really like to decorate gifts in the most unexpected ways. And today I suggest you make flowers out of paper with your own hands. Already twenty-odd methods, by the way.

Now, unfortunately, I rarely get to mass gift wrapping. Moreover, every year there are more and more acquaintances and friends who need to be congratulated along with relatives. It is very joyful! I love giving presents. But if I choose them very carefully, I have recently been packing in bags of organza, since I decide on a detailed package only for single holidays (like Birthday).

However, it is difficult to defeat my passion for packaging beauty of any kind, so today I will train with you to make beautiful flowers in stages.

Do-it-yourself paper flowers: simple and hilarious

There will be a lot of master classes, get ready. Good news for all lovers of roses: there will be as many as 4 pieces.

Aster

Guys, honestly, I'm not very strong in flower names. So if you see an apparent discrepancy for you - write in the comments.

So, the first in line astra. For her, cut five circles: two large, two medium and one very small. Fold each circle in half three times, and then draw the edge as in 4m photo. After unfolding the structure, squeeze each petal to give volume. Fold all the circles into each other and decorate the middle.

Almost calendula

This flower is much more like a packaging bow. Prepare a square of paper of the desired length for it and cut the edges according to step 2. There will be several such blanks. Lay them one on top of the other and squeeze them in the center by pulling them with wire or thread.

Now the most important thing is to spread the petals so that you get a beautiful semblance of a flower. Accordingly, the more layers, the more petals and the more magnificent flower as a result.

Tip: make several of these flowers of different sizes and stick them on the packaging next to each other, then you get a beautiful semblance of a bouquet.

Calla

To create a calla, you can use either ordinary double-sided paper or foam rubber (I wrote what it is in the section about the minion).

For calla lilies, take a stamen (you can crumple it out of paper or go blind from polymer clay) and a petal made in the shape of a heart. Insert the stamen into the petal; roll the edges of the petal over the stamen by gluing together. It remains only to unscrew the edges to get maximum resemblance to calla lilies.

Such flowers are well suited for decorating cards, and for packaging design, and as an independent gift in the form of a bouquet.

Bell

The master class for the bell is very simple and straightforward. Cut the workpiece according to the first photo. Glue her edges, and gently straighten the tips. To make it look natural, make a middle of several oblong stamens that need to be glued inside the flower.

Of these bells, by the way, it will be great to make a decoration for the packaging on March 8 or just a spring birthday.

Lilies of the valley

Well, or something similar. For one flower, take a long rectangle and bend the edge off it, as in the photo. Cut the wide part so that you get a lot of small strips. Using scissors, twist the strips (for this you only need to draw the sharp side of the scissors along these strips, slightly pressing the blade against them).

To prevent the flower from falling apart, take a stem on which you wind a green strip. Then, from above, begin to gently twist the "flower" part, previously coated with glue. Lay layers tightly so that greens do not peek out from under them.

But it’s not difficult to make green leaves - just fold a rectangle of green paper with an accordion for them and cut the edges with a “triangle”. When you expand, you will get a lot of green leaves, ready to be glued to the base.

Poppy

Now we put in the corrugated paper. Cut from it about ten petals of a drop-shaped form. Stretch the wide part so that the workpieces resemble mushrooms.

Take a thin wire and wind some paper on it - this will be the core. On this core, wind the petals so that each slightly overlaps the previous one. When everything is ready, the structure can be pulled down so that it does not fall apart.

The master class shows how this flower can be attached to the holiday cap, but, believe me, the poppy will look great on the gift box.

Red flower

What kind of species does he have? No associations occurred to me. But this is not the point - to create it you will need about ten petals (used, by the way, corrugated paper). Their shape is almost drop-shaped. but with a cut off end.

Cut a base circle from thick cardboard. Glue all the petals in layers to this circle, slightly crushing (squeezing? God, how is it right: _D) the bases, thus forming folds - then the flower will be more voluminous and “fluffy”. Decorate the center with a button or bead.

Such a flower, by the way, will look great from soft felt - so it will gain durability. And if you attach the base for the brooch at the back, you will get two in one - the gift decoration and the gift itself.

Extravaganza of color

There are only two flowers, but due to bright combinations, a very unusual effect is obtained. Take the corrugated paper again, cut out the circle and curl it in the shape of a “doll”. To it, cut a "skirt", which is wrapped around the pupa. Attach the petals from above by gluing them in a circle. Glue two wide leaflets at the base.

The second flower is quite simple - cut the fringe and twist in several layers. The flowers are very simple, they can make a very interesting gift arrangement.

Unprecedented flower

To prepare the basis for this flower, I advise you to look here - here for the second Christmas tree the basis is created in the same way. But then the differences begin - each of the corners must be wrapped with a thick wire or knitting needle so that a spiral turns out.

You can leave this design alone, but I suggest you connect several (say, three) pieces using the existing spirals - the wow effect is ensured. You can also experiment further - connect elements with spirals to unprecedented structures.

Tip: going to a Japanese-style party? Then make such a flower of very large size and take it with you - will serve as an excellent decoration of the chandelier.

Pion

“A new acquaintance gives pio-, pio-, peonies ...” - the words from the song of the underground group “My Michel” (recently I have been listening to it quite often, inspired). We will make from corrugated paper. It will take five sizes of petals, approximately five copies each (appearance as in the photo).

Stretch the petals so that it looks like a wave (for both large and small). Then, from the same corrugated paper, form a stamen by folding the paper with further compaction. You can do this on a wire skewer, or you can without it.

Glue the petals onto the finished stamen, overlapping each subsequent previous one. Do not tighten the petal too much. In the end, it remains only to cut green leaves and stick them around the peony.

4 in 1: dandelion, clove, aster, chamomile

All these wonderful creations of nature are made according to one principle - cutting the edge of the strip from which the flower will be made. The final shape of the flower depends on the shape of the cut. Keep in mind that some require a core, while others do not.

Please note: despite the very simple design, the flowers are very realistic. If the time for manufacturing is very short, then this is ideal.

Experiment and discover your unprecedented plants - be sure to tell what happened.

Paper roses

Magic roses are one of my favorite flowers

Rose with Twisted Edge

The main difficulty here is to carefully tighten the edge of the corrugated paper, straightening the folds. Then make sure the folds are even. Now twist the strip so that the layers fit snugly together. At the end, fasten with a thread, cut the excess.

Simple rose

Need to make a plant in five minutes? Then this rose is definitely for you! Just cut a circle in which to draw a spiral. Cut the spiral, as in the photo, and twist the rose, starting from the longest link in the spiral (the central part will serve as the base).

Big rose

Even giant, if you follow just such a size. Petals-hearts stretch and overlap each other in a circle with fixing with glue. Green petals are attached at the end. Of course, the flower does not need to be made as large as in the photo - build on your preferences.

Twisted paper rose

Once I already described this way of creating a rose (here is the second). The principle is exactly the same, but the size of the triangles obtained by twisting should be the same along the entire length of the ribbon, otherwise the flower will not be very accurate.

Once she even made a Rosemary doll, which took part in a city exhibition. Her whole body was covered with roses made just by this method (roses were from ribbons, though).

Clover

I will show you only how to make the basis for a four-leaf clover. To do this, take a square of paper and fold it in half and again in half. Bend the ends to the center. From the resulting design, cut a heart. The result will be exactly what we achieved - a happy flower.

Nameless

No matter how I puffed up, I could not give an intelligible name. As a result, Comrade remained just a beautiful flower, reminiscent of the motives of kanzashi (Japanese art of making jewelry from satin ribbons).

The beginning here is the same as in clover. But after bending the edges, it will be necessary to bend the ends so that the length of the bent part is equal to the length of the visible side in the middle. Then these parts are straightened and the edges are already bent so that the sides are even. They are again bent and glued so that three stamens are obtained. There should be three such petals.

Most of all, such a flower is suitable for decorating a gift in the Japanese style.

And again aster

This time you need to glue the petals around the edge until you reach the desired volume. Decorate the center as you wish, or simply fill as many petals as possible.

On this large floral review I declare closed. I hope you found exactly the option that will help you best decorate the gift. See you soon, subscribe and share with your friends!

Sincerely, Anastasia Skoreeva

Just celebrated girlfriend’s birthday, has a colleague’s anniversary at work? Celebrated the anniversary, you need to go to congratulate the boss? The boss was congratulated, there are no ideas how to surprise the picky aunt / grandmother / mother-in-law / mom’s girlfriend / neighbor? Come on, come up with a gift for someone who has everything. This person just needs to be surprised with his skill and a gift made with his own hands from the heart! And for this, large paper flowers are suitable. By the way, if you still have a gift, then the box in which it probably lies can be decorated with paper flowers instead of the usual packaging.

Corrugated flowers

Large, voluminous do-it-yourself flower installations can be done very quickly and at minimal cost. Corrugated paper is not very expensive, it is sold in rolls and it is enough for many products. So, prepare:

  • paper;
  • glue gun;
  • scissors;
  • skein of thread;
  • the wire.

To make large flowers, we need a petal pattern. It can be cut out of cardboard and attached to corrugated paper.

Now you need to think about the core: it may consist of many small petals or it will be necessary to prepare the stamens. In addition, before assembling, think: the flower is intended for mounting on the wall or it will be on the stem. If the latter, then wrap the wire with green paper and start assembling the flower from the middle, i.e. from the smallest petals, using glue in the form of a gun.

Delicious chocolate candy can also always be the core. It is attached to the wire and only then decorated with petals. It turns out a very original and useful bouquet.

Using the same method, using a stencil, you can create large interior roses that are placed in glass vases. There may be several such vases in an apartment.

Giant peonies

How to make large peony flowers from corrugated paper? In the interior they look simply gorgeous. By the way, you can even make a very interesting hat, so, take the following:

  • several rolls of corrugated or crepe paper in suitable colors;
  • glue;
  • thread and needle;
  • a balloon the size of a head;
  • newspaper for papier-mâché.

First you need to make a base from a newspaper and a ball using papier-mâché technique. On the ball you need to stick squares or stripes from newspapers. There should be many layers so that the base is dense. Leave the base on for 24 hours until it dries, then gently blow the ball and cut the base.

Now you need to put one half into the other and sew them along the edge. It is also advisable to glue the edge of the halves.

Now let's start making the petals. They must be of different shapes, prepare a stencil so that it is convenient to cut them.

There should really be a lot of petals and they should be diverse.

Each petal must be cut in an amount of at least 10 pieces. Now each petal needs to be properly stretched, and the base slightly bent to the side so that you can later stick it to the base. Petals should be voluminous, this is the main point in how to make high-quality large flowers from corrugated paper.

The thinnest petals go to the center, place the petals a little more around the core, there may be a small distance between the rows. The edge of the blank must also be glued with paper of the same color.

Continue filling the space with petals. Do not rush before attaching, attach a petal, see how it will look.

Now it will be necessary to prepare several very large petals that will go to the external design of the workpiece.

As a result, you should get such a gorgeous peony that can be used as a headdress for a holiday.

You can present such a flower as a birthday present to your child. The birthday girl definitely did not have such a charming gift.

In addition, such flowers can be used to decorate a wedding room.

The master class, large flowers made of paper, continues, next in turn is a giant dahlia.

Such a flower can be made using a ready-made pattern, or it is possible from a variety of petal details. So we will do it. It is very simple to make these flowers from paper with your own hands. What we need?

  • thick double-sided colored paper;
  • pVA glue;
  • scissors.

Cut a circle for the base from the same paper. Then you need to cut a lot of squares for future petals, the larger the square, the more the flower will turn out. Then each valve must be folded into a paper envelope, folded in the shape of a horn.

After that, all the horns must be glued to our base, following the order in order to get such a beautiful flower made by your hands.

Growth flowers

Large flowers from corrugated paper can be made even simpler, with virtually no stencil and lots of details. Using this method, you can make growth flowers. These decorations are perfect for decorating a festive interior and will be the subject of attention of photographers.

To do this, you need to cut a lot of circles from corrugated paper, they must be of different sizes: from huge to the smallest. The edge of the workpiece can be slightly treated with scissors - cut with a wavy line. Then all the blanks need to be folded one into one, fastening the layers with glue.

In general, on our site you will find a lot of interesting workshops on large flowers made of paper, including growth flowers.

There may be several such flowers from paper in the hall, but do not overdo it. Let fresh flowers be placed on the table. A huge rose can become the queen of the holiday.
