I saw large and beautiful bells in the store, well, I really wanted one, but they were a little expensive. I decided to make it myself from cups. We just had a lot of cups of puddings and yoghurts. And my youngest daughter and I decided to try to make bells from them.
And this is what we got.

We will need: yogurt cups, a plastic egg from a Kinder Surprise or a bottle cap, foil, glue, wire.

We coat the cup with PVA glue, crumple the foil a little, then straighten it and put it on the cup, as if wrapping it. My daughter made it without glue, and it holds up well too.

Turn the glass over and fill the leftovers inside, cutting off the excess. In my bell, I coated everything with PVA glue, including the edges, so that it would stick better. After processing with PVA, the object becomes stronger.

And now the base for the bell is ready.

Cut the wire 40 cm, fold it in half. We take one half of the kinder, turn it over and make a hole on top in the middle, insert a wire into it, leaving a 10 cm loop, wrap the kinder with foil, and hide the rest of the foil inside.

New Year's crafts from plastic cups and bottles

Plastic cups are an excellent inexpensive consumable for all kinds of crafts. You can also use unnecessary plastic soda or milk bottles. Small glasses make wonderful Christmas tree bells. The shape of the bottle is larger, so it is better to use it to make a decorative decoration for the interior or a toy for a very large Christmas tree.

Holiday bell from a bottle

What materials are needed:

The cut half of a plastic bottle is decorated in different ways. You can leave it transparent and cover it with miniature stickers, wrap the bottom and lid with tinsel. If you make a hole in the lid with an awl, you will be able to hang the bead on a ribbon and also make a loop.

The surface of the bottle can be coated with paint, and then lacy lace can be glued on. We decorate the lid with sequins and add a pendant made of a thin ribbon.

Gold and silver bells from glasses

• spray can with golden paint;

Instead of ordinary plastic cups, you can use yogurt containers. Now let's make a silver bell to decorate the Christmas tree. You will need: a glass, foil, tinsel, lace, scissors, an awl and a hook.

1. At the end of the lace we tie a piece of colored tinsel to make the tongue of the craft.
2. Wrap the glass tightly with foil.
3. Use an awl to make a hole in the bottom of the glass. Let's pull the lace through it; a hook will be useful for this. Let's make a loop and a knot.
4. Wrap fluffy silver tinsel around the loop.

Not only Christmas decorations are made from cups. From this simple material you can even make a whole Christmas tree. You can make a Christmas tree out of cups if you fasten them together with a stapler. To do this you will need many identical green glasses. The finished design is decorated with beads, seed beads and rhinestones.

Souvenirs made from eggshells and trays

To prevent egg shells and trays from going to waste, make colorful New Year's toys out of them. Shortly before the New Year, start collecting the necessary materials at hand. Try to break raw eggs not in the middle, but from the edge. We should have complete molds for the bells.

For crafts, take eggshells, gauze (bandage), thick thread, PVA, paint and brush. For decoration, you can add semolina, beads or putty.

There are two ways to make a Christmas tree toy from a shell.

Manufacturing method No. 1:

1. Cut the gauze fabric into pieces. We glue them on the outside of the shell. This procedure is needed to strengthen the fragile material.
2. After the glue has dried, cut out sharp petals on the shell. Cover the surface with white paint.
3. Use an awl to poke a hole for the lace.
4. We glue a mosaic of husks onto the shell and paint it.

Manufacturing method No. 2:

1. We glue the shell with gauze from the inside. To quickly dry the glue, you can place the workpiece on the battery.
2. Paint the outside with white.
3. Use scissors to cut the shell evenly.
4. Let's do the decor. Apply putty to the shell to create relief patterns, then paint the dried surface. You can smear the craft with glue and sprinkle it with beads or semolina. Use your imagination to create a bright design for the toy.
5. Make a hole at the top and insert a loop.

For MK with a cardboard tray for eggs you need to take colored paper, glue, scissors, string.

1. Cut out cells from a cardboard tray.
2. We cover the cells with paper of different colors.
3. We pierce the top to attach the lace. You can also hang a large bead on it.

If you start collecting colorful candy wrappers from foil in advance, you can replace colored paper with them. You will get very beautiful shiny bells.

Bells made from other unusual materials

Make your Christmas tree truly festive and different from others. The green beauty, dressed up with her own crafts, will look cool and original. Let's try to make a few more New Year's toys from different materials.

From flower pots

Let's take clean ones flower pots and let's start decorating them:

1. At the bottom we immediately drill a hole for hanging the future toy.
2. Now we decorate the surface. You can simply wrap it in foil and glue on tinsel.
3. Another decorative option is using pine cones. Using pliers, carefully separate the “leaves” of the pine cone. Then we cover the pot with them. It is better to use a hot glue gun. Let's decorate the craft additionally artificial spruce, beads and sparkles.

From twine

A DIY bell craft can be successfully made from linen thread. We take twine, a plastic bottle, a bag, PVA, tape, a glue gun, scissors and decor (beads, ribbons).

1. The bottle will act as a mold. Therefore, you need to wrap the transition from the cap to the bottle with tape. This way we will level it so that we can easily remove the craft from the mold.
2. We put the bag on the bottle and secure it by tying it at the bottom.
3. Lubricate the surface of the bag with glue and wind a linen thread onto the bottle. This way we reach the middle of the bottle. Waiting for it to dry.
4. Remove the blank from the bottle and remove the bag.
5. We decorate as you wish.

From papier-mâché

We prepare a mold - a real bell, glass or other similar object. We will also collect the following consumables on the table: paper, paste or PVA, cling film.

Papier-mâché bell master class:

1. Wrap the glass in cling film. This is necessary so that the future craft can be easily detached from the mold.
2. We tear the paper into pieces, soak them in glue and place them on the glass.
3. We wait for the workpiece to dry and decorate it as your imagination dictates.

To knit bells and make them from beads, you will need special patterns.

Choose any method to create a New Year's craft. Decorate your Christmas tree and interior with bells and use them as gifts for family and friends.

How to make a New Year's bell.

First, use dishwashing powder to remove the pattern from the cup (this is very easy). If the paint still holds tightly, paint over the inscriptions with white paint - in the future, a decoupage drawing will be placed there. Meanwhile, prepare the design from a napkin for gluing. From my previous work I still have a strip of Christmas trees and pine cones. The length of these drawings is sufficient. If you are using napkin designs, remove the white layer of napkin from the prepared sections. Given the shape of the bell (tapers at the top), I cut out the corners between the trees.

Then stick the design onto the white stripe of the cup (decoupage). Apply a thin layer of a napkin with a dry pattern to the gluing area, apply PVA glue diluted with water 1:1 on top with a soft brush, straighten the folds with a brush while gluing. Leave the work until completely dry. Apply 2-3 layers of water-soluble varnish to the picture, allowing each layer of varnish to dry.

While the polish is drying, paint the bottle cap and bead gold. Prepare an awl and a large needle with strong thread, cut 30 cm of ribbon.

Using an awl, make 2 holes in the lid and insert the ends of the tape into these holes. If the ribbon is too thick, insert 20-25 cm of strong thread into the needle and tie the ends of the thread in a knot. Place the tip of the tape into the resulting loop. Insert a needle with a thread loop into the hole in the lid, the thread loop will pull the ribbon through this hole. This technique is often used when you need to string beads onto a ribbon or thick thread. Tie the ribbon in a knot at a distance of 7-8 cm from the fold.

Use an awl to make a hole in the center of the bottom of the cup, use a needle and thread to insert both ends of the ribbon into the hole, pick up a bead and tie the ends of the ribbon in a knot. Trim the ends so that about 0.5 cm remains after the knot.

Now use a glue gun to glue the knot under the lid to the hole in the bottom of the glass, then glue the lid to the bottom.

Make the blue bell the same way, only the shape of the cup is slightly different.

When I hung the bell, I realized that the golden rim would not interfere with it, so I applied it. But it’s better to do this while painting the parts.

Another red bell adorned the straw Christmas wreath. The tongue of this bell is a small Christmas ball.
