Dog applique: original ideas for a simple craft. DIY paper applications “Dogs” for children step by step with photos. Templates Crafts dog from cardboard paper applique

An application on the theme of a dog or puppy is performed in the preparatory group kindergarten V different variations: traditionally from ordinary shapes, from geometric shapes and using fabric techniques.

The plot of a picture with such a simple and understandable pet as a dog can be very many - you can completely trust the children’s imagination, so that the kids themselves come up with their own story.

The advantage of such a craft is that it can be made in any group: in elementary and middle children, you can ask them to create a composition of figures, and in senior group make a craft from fabric.

You need to start, of course, with the simplest option. This MK is an excellent option for beginners, since step-by-step instructions for its implementation will not seem difficult even to the smallest.

For this craft we will need:

  • sheets of colored paper;
  • “circle” stencil;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • a sheet of children's cardboard;
  • black felt-tip pen.

Instructions with detailed description Each step is not needed here, since you can simply print the picture and cut out all the details along the contour.

In the very simple version The step-by-step method will be like this:

Advice! When making parts using templates, it is better to use paper of different colors - then the applique will turn out more elegant.

Another option is a little more complicated, but it will be more interesting for children. In this case, you need to cut out several shapes from paper step by step: semicircles, circles different sizes and fifths of a circle. Children will be able to do this with their own hands, but they must be given stencils - the ratio of parts is very important here, as shown in the pictures.

Ideas for creating an application from various figures a lot: here are some more dog options.

On the other hand, you can do without a ready-made version and draw your own drawing, which will serve as a stencil. Of course, for preschoolers the second option will be more interesting.

Puppy applique

The first thing that comes to mind: a puppy is a small dog, and you can make an applique in the same style, just smaller in size. This is quite suitable option, however, there is no difficulty in making other figures of a small dog yourself.

You can cut out a cartoon puppy according to a template - such an applique, of course, will be a great success.

Dog with a booth

Of course, the dog needs its own house, which can also be made using the appliqué technique. It would be better to make it in the form of a pocket made of fancy paper - you can put a cut-out dog in such an envelope, and as a result, each pet will have its own house.

And here is a version of a dog house, decorated with a tasty bone:

If the children are still small and it is difficult for them to make a dog themselves, you can draw it and cut it out, and only then glue the figurine.

For older children, you can make a three-dimensional booth with a dog. Using a template, or you can develop and glue it yourself, taking it as an example.

Postcard applique “Cheerful Puppy”

This application will be interesting because it moves. And it's not difficult to do.

We will need: paper, cardboard, glue, scissors, ruler and pencil.

We cut out the templates in advance and assemble them step by step. The result will be cheerful puppy. You can make the eyes yourself or buy movable ones, this will make the card look more fun.

Border guard with a dog

A dog is a person’s faithful friend, who not only lives next to him, but also performs many tasks. Of course, this can be played out when making applique with kids. Why not, for example, make a postcard for dad on February 23rd on the theme: “Border guard with a dog”?

It’s quite interesting if you print out a picture and make an applique based on it.

Fabric applications

An applique is not always a paper craft. For example, why not make a dog from their fabric? This craft is an opportunity to start mastering new technology handicrafts.

Children are very interested in working with such material as fabric. They can choose the colors themselves, because... This is not colored plain paper. We cut out the fabric according to the template; it is advisable not to use silk fabrics, they are poorly attached with glue. We use cardboard as a base; a thin sheet of paper will be deformed due to moisture and the applique will lose its shape. It is fashionable to use regular PVA glue or a glue gun. If the child is older, then the applique can be sewn on, but for this we use a fabric base.

We have prepared several more templates for you that you can use for creativity with children.

The dogs of their fabrics turn out to be much more fun. They're like Stuffed Toys: Look cute and attractive.

Galina Shinaeva

My middle school children and I made these dogs for a charity fair that is held annually in our educational organization.

Teamwork, we worked in subgroups. IN middle group Children are still learning how to use scissors and how to hold them correctly. They are good at cutting paper in a straight line; these skills were used to create a dog made of colored paper.

Necessary materials:

Colored paper.

Colored cardboard for background.

Glue stick.

First I cut out the details (lots of details, different color so that children have a choice,

on the wrong side I drew lines up to which the children made cuts.

These stripes convey the texture of the animal's fur.

From the finished parts (from left to right: body, head, ears, tail at the bottom, paws) they made a dog.

The details were glued to the background - thick colored cardboard.

We cut out and glued on the eyes and nose.

These are the dogs we got.

Paper construction “Dog” for children 4-5 years old. Master class with step by step photos. Objectives: -learn to cut out parts from paper correctly.

Introducing to this type of creativity should begin with simple pictures of geometric shapes, gradually adding them to flowers and animals.

One of the simplest pictures for 3-year-old children is the “Dog” applique. There are many different appliqué techniques and methods that can be used to make a dog or puppy.

Let's take a closer look at how to perform several of them.

What is required for the application

You will need the following materials and tools:

  • disposable plate;
  • a set of colored paper (brown, black, pink);
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • adhesive eyes, but this is not necessary (although for small children it will greatly simplify the task).

Glue the dog together

To ensure that your “Dog” paper applique turns out beautiful, follow the following recommendations.

So the “Dog” applique is ready.

Alternatively, you can form a picture not using individual geometric shapes, but as a whole image.

To do this, draw the silhouette of a dog on paper and cut it out. If you are not good at drawing our four-legged brothers, this is not a big problem, just print out the dog template (preferably on cardboard). Cut it out and trace it on paper of the desired color.

This template will be useful to you so that you can create more than one “Dog” applique in the future. You can use this form, or find any other.

Gluing a dog from geometric shapes

But for young children it will be more useful and interesting to make a picture from small parts, like a puzzle. Therefore, here is another way to apply on this topic.

The "Dog" applique is finished. Everything is very easy and simple. Children will be interested in making puppies on their own or under your strict guidance.

Over time, you can try other ways to applique your four-legged friend. The main thing is, don’t be afraid to experiment, and don’t do everything according to a template. Make your own adjustments as you would with any other creative endeavor.

An excellent craft for children, and also popular this year - a dog made from accordion paper. The dog turns out to be interesting and moving; children will love making it and then playing with it.

Materials for work:

  • Double-sided colored paper of the desired color for the accordion body;
  • Double-sided colored cardboard for the head, paws;
  • Scissors, a simple pencil, a glue stick, a black felt-tip pen, a ruler.

Accordion paper dog: step-by-step instructions

Use the template and cut out parts for the face, hind and front paws from cardboard. You can use any face, print another option you like. And perhaps the children themselves will want to draw the dog’s head to create their own unique character.

You will also need two identical strips of paper. If you need a small dog, two strips cut along the entire length of a wide part of A4 paper are enough. The width of the strips is about 2 cm.

We make the body with an accordion

Fold the edges of two strips of paper at right angles and glue them together.

After this, take the strip on the right and direct it to the left, pressing the folds. Thus, in the corner of the strips you will get a kind of intertwined square, which, as it grows, turns into an accordion.

Continue alternating stripes, placing them one on top of the other. Go to the end of the strips, cut off the excess and glue the tip. You will get such a nice accordion.

It can be the body for many characters, various animals, birds. Wonderful even.

Glue the hind legs with a tail to the accordion on one side, and the front legs on the other side. These parts must be made of cardboard so that the dog is stable.

Dog head made from accordion paper

Glue a muzzle onto the head previously cut out of cardboard, draw eyes, a nose and a mouth with a black felt-tip pen.

Then you can immediately glue the head to the body, or you can make a neck for the dog so that the head can swing funny in different directions. For the neck you will need a small strip of cardboard folded into a simple accordion, that is, one fold forward and the other back, to the very tip of the strip. You should not make the neck very long so that the dog’s head does not hang down. But in principle, you can skip this step with the neck.

Glue the head to the neck or to the part with the front paws. You will get such a funny accordion paper dog.

The love for work is instilled from childhood when parents devote time working together. These are not only everyday processes, which certainly should be, but also lessons in creativity. To learn the details, how to make the general from the particular, to learn space, colors and structures - the most universal technique that embraces many functions is appliqué. It is important to ensure safety in the process. Prepare workplace, cover the surface, prepare the material - this will save time later so as not to be distracted. You can put on work clothes or some kind of uniform that matches each other.

Traditionally, work on this topic is carried out in the preparatory classes of kindergarten. Most often, animals are made from geometric shapes using paper or fabric techniques.

The image can contain only a pet or a whole plot in which the dog plays the main role. Everything is based on children's imagination. Therefore, when preparing materials, first discuss with your child what exactly he wants to see at the end of the journey.

Works from geometric shapes

The simplest option for the little ones. This master class involves the use of a minimum number of parts. Stock up on stationery kit, glue, cardboard for the base and a black marker.

To further simplify the task and the process of creating blanks, we suggest using a special template. Print it out and cut out the shapes.

If you don’t bother with processing the background and decor, but concentrate on the most important character in the picture, the step-by-step instructions consist of the following points:

  1. Cut two of the four circles in half.
  2. On the base, lay out the details of the dog in the desired position.

  1. Stick them on sequentially, starting with the ears and paws of the tail.
  2. Then move on to the belly.
  3. Finish with the head, on which, using a marker or felt-tip pen, draw the pet’s face.

If you are using the suggested template as a stencil, use different shades of paper to make the dog more beautiful. In the examples presented, you can see options for applications that were also created using geometric figures, but in more complex structures.

You can also use your own drawing. The possibilities of technology are limitless and depend only on your imagination.

Little dogs are very cute and kids like them. Therefore, the child will happily agree to make such a product with his own hands. Using special templates, making a dog using the appliqué technique will not be difficult. It is enough to print and cut out the dog’s body parts, and then, together with the child, stick their base onto something dense.

Pet house

Every dog needs its own kennel. You can make a box in the shape of a pocket so that the animal can be hidden inside.

Sequencing:

  1. Make a small dog.
  2. Select a piece of cardboard the size of it and draw an outline.
  3. Cut along the line and glue the blank onto a thick base.
  4. Let's start creating a house.
  5. Prepare a paper square that will be larger than the pet.
  6. Cut a round window in it.
  7. Attach the roof to the cardboard base, but do not completely glue the booth itself, but only along the bottom and side contours.
  8. Through the upper opening, you can put the dog inside so that it looks out the window.

There is another option from which you can make a game for a child. Make several houses of different colors and the same number of doggies. Glue them scattered on a large sheet of paper and give the little one the task of drawing a leash from the animal to the kennel in its color.

An example is shown in the figure.

There are also non-functional types of crafts on this topic.

Older children will be interested in creating a three-dimensional booth. We provide a template as a tutorial. The master class has been translated and adapted for your convenience.

Scotty is a cheerful puppy

  3. Fold back the two sides as well as the red stripe labeled "A".
  4. Glue the two elements together.
  5. Now fold four similar tabs at the top.
  6. After you have made the roof, carry element No. 2. Fold down along the middle line, glue as a bottom.
  7. Cut out Scotty.
  8. Fold it with the black sides facing out and connect them (all except the ears, lower body and legs, as shown by the dotted line).
  9. Poke a hole - the white dot on his cute collar.
  10. Now bend your ears slightly downward and your legs outward.
  11. To make sure he doesn't escape, cut a piece of thread about 10-15 cm long and run it from the collar to the ring in the house.
  12. A small amount of moss, straw or leaves will make a comfortable "bed" for Scottie.

Postcard

A functional product with movable elements will make a wonderful postcard and children will love it.

It seems complicated only at first glance. If you first prepare all the necessary details and follow them exactly step by step instructions in pictures, you will succeed.

Step-by-step review of the application master class

Necessary materials:

  • White list
  • Colored paper
  • Stickers – for small parts
  • Scissors
  • Felt pen
  • Pencil

First, draw your pet on a white sheet of paper, in this case a dog. This is your template that your child will work with. You can draw both the whole image and the details separately, which we cut out from colored sheets.

On stickers of different colors (plain and variegated with funny pictures) you create small details, accent colors.

The more shares, the more exciting the process and the final result. Decor is a separate part, which depends only on imagination and ingenuity. After cutting, we begin to connect them. We take the base and glue in the ears first, then place the tail behind the body.

It will also be interesting to make animals that have spots on them - these are nice unique highlights. Next we glue the paws, you can also cut out the dark outlines of the fingers and small nails on them.

Installing eyes. In your blank, create the white and pupil separately, instilling realism in the animal. Later the spout.

Use a felt-tip pen to draw out the mouth, mustache and cheeks, as well as eyelashes. Returning to stickers, if you have any small objects illustrating (for example, a bone, a suitcase or words), add to the pet.

The work is completed, but if you want to make it even more interesting, you can cut out its back part based on the base (or immediately take a double-sided colored paper) and add elements to the back, then you will want to look at this dog more. Instead of the pupils of the eyes, you can attach beads, rhinestones or buttons. And if you have scraps, for example from fur products, they can be installed instead of a birthmark on the ear or tail.

It is very important not to limit yourself to the texture of the elements: cover the face with glitter or place a bug on a leg. Don't limit yourself to working with the same elements. The decorating process will be interesting for you and your child if you both show your creativity.

Using the same principle, create wild animals, dinosaurs, cartoon characters and invent various fairy-tale stories that will be imprinted in the child’s memory. With the help of these home-made characters, you can learn counting, languages, and remember colors and body parts. Game form will help your baby quickly and easily grasp and remember information. Also for you, a serious process will turn into pleasure.

Quilling dog

If you are an animal lover, and in this case, dogs, then the ideal option for you would be to create a paper dog craft using the quilling technique. With its help, you can make a four-legged creature in a few minutes, just with a couple of sheets of paper, scissors and glue. It can be used as a toy, figurine, wall decoration or pendant.

The first masterpiece will be a miniature poodle, to create which we will need 5 colors of paper (yellow, brown, white, blue and green), a sketch blank, a stencil, a stick, glue, and scissors.

We make rolls from yellow, white (2 pcs.) and blue (2 pcs.) paper, which we give into the desired shape only when we paste them onto the sketch.

Using brown stripes, folding them in several layers and gluing them at different levels, we form the tail of the animal.

We also make curly wool from such strips, winding them around a pencil or folding them in the shape of drops.

We attach the finished elements to the sketch.

We create a bow from 5 green pieces.

We continue to fill the free space of the sketch with curls, and in a few minutes a beautiful cartoon poodle will appear in front of us.

Using the same scheme, we create the next doggie, but here we paste over the contours of the animal first.

Then we fill the inner emptiness with the desired colors.

Let's start corrugated quilling. We take blanks in the form of strips of corrugated cardboard “wave”. First we need 3 light and 1 brown. We make “snails” out of them.

From brown cardboard we cut out double strips - ears - of the size we need. Glue the three elements together.

We attach the last “roll” perpendicularly, complementing the composition with eyes, ears, tail, tongue and paws.

We have just looked at the fastest and easy way create a paper dog, and then we suggest making a more complex and beautiful one together.

We will need corrugated paper"wave" of blue, white and brown colors(it is advisable to use ready-made strips), decorative decorations for the face.

Let's start working with the animal's face. We wind the light strip and pull it forward a few millimeters. We repeat the same process with the same strip and brown segment. The body consists of two parts: a blue sweater and wool. We push two curls apart into a cocoon shape and glue them together. From small “rolls” we form sleeves into which we insert white paper folded into several layers - paws. The lower paws are made of 4 brown ones, fastened together. The ears should be the same color, only made in the shape of crescents. We collect, complement with eyes, nose and tongue.

We focus on 3D doggies because they look much brighter, more interesting than flat ones and can be used as exclusive children's toys.

Our next dog will be made from yellow, black and pink flowers. The first step of our work will be to create the animal’s head: glue an elongated one to a flat yellow curl, and on top of it (at an angle) another one, but smaller. We attach the ears on the sides.

The black flat piece will be replaced by a dog collar. We glue two yellow strips together and form a “roll”, stretching it to a cone shape. We create paws from three mini-elements.

We make the lower legs from a pink-yellow “wave”. We decorate the face with decorative blanks. Our wonderful dog is ready.

So we came up with some interesting variations together. Agree, the quilling technique looks much brighter when using corrugated cardboard. Experiment with colors and shapes, then your creations will be wonderful toys for kids and will help develop their imagination and imagination.

Origami dog biting

Origami is a technique for creating paper shapes that is accessible to everyone. Even beginners can do most of the crafts. It involves creating various figures from paper and cardboard, these can also be animals. It’s impossible to believe, but an ordinary square of paper can become a crane, a cat or a dog. This article will discuss the creation of this year's symbol, namely the dog. Most often, a square is suitable for creating shapes.

A baby can develop:

Attention and memory.
Imagination and logic.
Fine motor skills.
Self-regulation.
Perception of geometric terms such as:

Corner.
Square.
Rectangle.

To learn the origami technique, preschool children need to learn the following rules:

The paper should be thin and bend well.
The teacher's initial square for work should have a significantly larger size than in children. It is desirable that the figures differ twice as much.
For perception, information must be provided in a detailed and clear form. The teacher should not make unnecessary paper folds.
In order to get a figure, you need to accurately add the sides and corners together.
Working with origami should be done in two stages. First, the child folds the figure with the help of the teacher, and then independently without outside help.

The prepared brown sheet of paper needs to be folded along two diagonals. After the first steps, the workpiece should look like a triangle. The next step is to bend the bottom corner of the triangle. Moreover, it is worth considering that only its top layer needs to be folded.

To form the animal's ears, it is necessary to bend the side corners of the triangle. After which they should be straightened and take the shape of rhombuses. In this case, the upper part of the resulting element should be bent down quite a bit.
