What to wear for a child to school. How to create a basic wardrobe for a teenage girl? How to choose suitable clothes for a schoolchild

Another one will start soon academic year. This is not a holiday for everyone). But let's not talk about sad things. Still, there are those few who are looking forward to it, and that’s wonderful. School uniforms have always been a pressing issue for parents. Buying pens, notebooks and other school supplies can be done literally in an hour, but as far as appearance is concerned, and even with the prospect of a whole school year, this is always a problem.

Those parents or grown-up children who saw the same uniform everywhere remember it differently. Some were quite happy with this; they didn’t have to think about what the child would wear tomorrow; it was enough to change the girls’ collars and cuffs, and wash the boys’ shirts. But others didn't like it at all. Where is the individuality? Where is self-expression? You can’t do your hair, makeup and accessories are prohibited, and shoes are also quite affordable. Boring(.

But I must note that this is very beneficial for the family budget. Since the child spends a lot of time at school, he has few hours left for the rest of his time, which means he doesn’t need much other clothing. And if the school does not have a specific dress code for students and everyone dresses in whatever they want, then the educational institution turns into a podium for parading extravagant and sometimes inappropriate outfits. It’s kind of like a show of personalities).

Necessity school uniform- the question is ambiguous. It includes many aspects such as psychology, discipline and visual compliance with the school process. As we know, this is decided not by parents, but by the management of the educational institution, to whom you entrust the education of your child. Therefore, you will have to adapt to the proposed circumstances.

A few years ago, the mother of a 7-year-old girl approached me with a request to sew a school uniform for the baby. of blue color. A reasonable question on my part: “Why don’t you buy it? ". The answer surprised me greatly. It turns out that this uniform is not sold in our city! What prompted the director of this school to force parents to spend a lot of time, effort and money on obtaining the ill-fated blue uniform still remains a mystery to me. The parents also did not receive any reasonable explanations. But they still had to fulfill the conditions of the director - a tyrant. Everyone coped with this task as best they could. I hope that you will not have to face such a ridiculous situation, in my opinion, and that your child will look well-groomed and neat within the school walls, no matter what color his uniform is.

In order not to worry too much about this, let's look at what uniforms children wear in other countries. Maybe then our practices won’t seem so stupid and unreasonable to us. In many countries there is no uniform school uniform. Each educational institution (especially private ones) has the right to establish its own dress code. By the way, it was thanks to the school uniform that . Schoolchildren from France, Australia, America, Africa, Japan, India, Cuba, Iran, China and many other countries are dressed differently, but, in my opinion, they are all beautiful!

In the territory former USSR In the newly formed states there is also no uniform school uniform. In Ukraine, many schools do not have it at all. On the one hand, this is good, the problem of choosing one disappears, but on the other hand, parents have a lot of problems with purchasing clothes that students want to change every day. Well, why not wear the same clothes if there are no restrictions? In this regard, parents and teachers can tell a lot about the outfits of some schoolgirls interesting stories, and the appearance of students and female students becomes a subject for discussion on parent meetings. This means conflicts between children and parents are inevitable.

There are lyceums where uniforms are purchased centrally. This frees parents from running around stores and tedious fittings. In other cases, you must take care yourself so that the child is fully prepared for the educational process. If parents want their child to look beautiful and dignified within the framework of an educational institution, it is enough to purchase a few things from which you can easily create various sets and not burden yourself with this activity every day. This will make life much easier for you and your child and will help him present himself with dignity.

Girls' clothing usually consists of a skirt, blouse and jacket - this is the base. For boys it is: trousers, shirt, vest and jacket. But, it is enough to purchase 9 things, with the help of which you will create several images that will not break the rules and will fit perfectly into modern ideas about the appearance of a schoolchild.

9 things to create multiple looks:

- colored shirt or blouse

- jacket with buttons

- dress (sundress)

— pullover 2 in 1 (with shirt front)

Look at the options for such configurations.

Since the child will be in these clothes for quite a long time, it is advisable to choose natural fabrics (the closer to the body, the more natural). It's easier with boys than with girls. Their set includes: trousers, shirt, vest and jacket. Of course this is a minimum set of things. For both girls and boys, it is advisable to have more than one blouse or shirt. For boys, you can also buy a button-down sweater and a pullover. In total there are 6 things. Tie, bow tie as needed or desired.

With younger children school age It’s much easier to agree on appearance than with high school students. Girls and boys want to look mature, fashionable and relevant. Although these concepts do not exactly relate to school uniforms, nevertheless, they remain timeless and are perfect for school sets. And accessories in the form of watches or glasses can play the role of fashionable and modern ones. Short skirts, guipure dresses, high heels and bright makeup are of course excluded! If the younger generation assures you that this is impossible, try to convince them of the opposite.

High school girls can also be offered several things that will make up their school basic wardrobe:

black dress- a case (or another color), no more than 10 cm high above the knee

- colored dress (or checkered) classic style

- tailored trousers in a classic style

- jacket or blazer (possible with 3/4 length sleeves)

- skirt straight or pleated

- shirt or blouse of a single color

- jacket with buttons

As you can see, the set for little schoolgirls and adult students is not much different. The color scheme should be more restrained than flashy. There is no need to choose acidic shades, which are difficult to look at for a long time. Try to ensure that things match each other and, of course, suit your child, and do not spoil the figure. Since in adolescence teenagers look a little angular and disproportionate, you need to choose clothes carefully, it should emphasize the advantages and hide the disadvantages.

I hope these little tips will help you. Let your child’s appearance please everyone around him and, of course, himself. It will be interesting to find out what rules for school uniforms exist in your school. But there is time for business, and time for fun. Do not forget that in their free time, children want to look bright and cheerful, and they must correspond to this. After all, childhood should be like this!

And if you have your own findings and comments, share them with readers and your friends.

Uniform has long been no longer a mandatory attribute of an educational institution, but despite this, the school is still an official institution and requires a certain dress code. However, not everyone wants to comply with it. And if with children younger age much simpler - kids, as a rule, trust the taste of their parents, while teenagers often rebel against established rules and wear whatever they want to school. This article will look at how boys and girls should dress for school in order to look fashionable and stylish, without violating the regulations of the educational institution.

What you should never wear to school

At the age of 13, teenagers already begin to think about their attractiveness to the opposite sex and strive to emphasize their individuality with the help of clothing. However, there are outfits that have no place in school. These include:

  1. transparent and translucent blouses and shirts;
  2. T-shirts with images of your favorite movie characters, musicians or singers;
  3. short shorts and miniskirts;
  4. leggings and leggings;
  5. ripped jeans;
  6. low-waist trousers;
  7. tracksuits.

Perhaps these wardrobe items look fashionable and beautiful, but it is better to save them for walks or informal parties with friends. But you should study at school, and business style contributes to this process in the best possible way.

How to dress for school if you have a uniform

A strict school uniform is not a reason for frustration. There are many ways to dress fashionably for school without violating the rules of the educational institution. For example, a shirt can be not only white, but also beige, blue, soft pink and other soft colors.

If the school charter requires a mandatory combination of white top and black bottom, you can experiment (in moderation) with the style of a blouse or shirt. In particular, contrasting color buttons, a turn-down collar, and colored cuffs will enliven a boring look.

Correctly selected accessories will also add zest. For girls, this can be various decorations in their hair; boys can choose a stylish belt or cufflinks.

How to dress for school as a guy

Despite teenagers’ persistent rejection of school uniforms, they have certain advantages: they smooth out social inequality and competition “for the quality” of clothing. In addition, you don’t have to think about what to wear every day. How should a teenager dress for school if there are no specific rules, but he needs to look presentable and formal?

  • If a guy prefers a strict style of clothing, then the ideal option would be classic pants dark color. You can choose a shirt of any style and shade. In cool weather, a jacket or knitted sleeveless vest to match the trousers will complement the look. Such an ensemble can also be worn for an exam at school to demonstrate your composure and readiness for work;
  • Fans of a more informal style can safely wear jeans to school. Modern the lineup presented with denim trousers of various colors and styles. You can easily choose jeans that match the school dress code. As a top, either a simple plain or checkered shirt or a knitted sweater, half-over or cardigan.

How to dress for school as a girl

There is an opinion that girls mature earlier than boys. It’s hard to say whether this is true, but at the age of 12 young ladies already pay attention to their appearance and show a desire to stand out from the crowd. This is probably why it is much more difficult for them to decide on the choice of clothes for school everyday life, especially if the educational institution does not provide a strict uniform.

The following wardrobe items will help a girl be fashionable at school:

  • Dress

A win-win option for a school look would be a sheath dress that is knee-length or a palm higher. At the same time, it is not at all necessary that it be dark in color; it is quite acceptable to wear an outfit in delicate pastel colors, as well as a dress with polka dots or stripes.

One more stylish solution A sundress can be considered a sundress for going to school. It can be worn either as an independent outfit or combined with a blouse, sweater or turtleneck.

This is generally a universal thing with which you can create many stylish ensembles. Depending on your figure and taste preferences, you can choose a classic pencil skirt or a sun-type model. High-waisted skirts are in fashion. You can wear anything with this wardrobe item: shirts, blouses, sweaters, turtlenecks.

  • Trousers

Particular attention should be paid to classic trouser models with arrows. This style looks elegant and strict at the same time.

When asked where is the best place to pack a child’s wardrobe for school, I would answer: “Everywhere.” That's the truth. Shopping centers, any hypermarkets, state department stores, branded stores of light industry enterprises - “school” hangs everywhere. It’s easier for me to name places where it is not: vegetable rows on Komarovka, the Uruchye construction market and the car market in Malinovka.

Besides that school clothes there is a lot, which is why there is no point in going somewhere special for it, since it is also repeated from store to store. By prices, assortment, styles and even manufacturers. For example, a school blouse for a girl of primary school age will cost approximately 40 rubles everywhere, closed formal leather shoes - 40-50 rubles, a skirt - 25-40 rubles, white tights - 3-4 rubles.

The upper number is the price under the discount program, and the lower number is when purchasing under normal conditions:

Loved this plaid suit for high school girls. Outside of school, it can also be used stylishly - with sweatshirts, bomber jackets, coats, sneakers or loafers, a backpack:

And this is MINIMAX, a low-price store. I wouldn’t say that the prices here are significantly lower than in other stores:

SO WHERE IS IT MORE PROFITABLE?

And although I said that everything is approximately the same everywhere, I will tell you where it is still a little cheaper. And how and for how long I collected my child. I have a girl, 7 years old, second grade.

BLOUSES

This is surprising to me, but I bought school shirts from. Surprising because I don't like KARI. But accidentally taking a shortcut through their store, which had two through exits, my gaze fell on a stand with school uniforms. By that time I was already fed up with ruffles, bows, wedding guipure and fashion Victorian England on school uniforms in other stores. And I needed an ordinary white shirt to go with the mandatory vest at our school. I didn't expect to buy it here. One simple shirt with short sleeve, and one of the same, but with a long one.

The collection was last year, so there was a discount on it and the final price was 15 rubles. It's the same for boys.

Composition: cotton/PE in a 50/50 ratio. It feels like 90% cotton, doesn't slip or squeak. By the way, this is the second year I’ve noticed that fabric blouses are often good composition on the tag they turn out to be very unpleasant to the touch, like the fabric of an umbrella. And with a large composition of artificial fibers, the opposite is true.

So, two fabric blouses cost me 30 rubles. This is what they look like on my child:

There were also these:

JUMPERS

I took blouses for important occasions - standing on the line, sitting in the classroom during open lessons, jumping around the Christmas tree on New Year and in at its best receive flowers from boys on March 8th. I don’t put fabric blouses on my children anymore. Instead, there are white and black-and-white knitted jumpers, which are convenient for hanging from a tree during recess and which can be easily taken off and put on in after-school hours without the help of an adult. They are produced in huge quantities for the school season. And all of a very strange design and not at all business style.

I bought it last year and liked it. Although I chose not by manufacturer, but by design. This year I liked the designs of other companies. Although, it would be more correct to say that he was least irritating. These are jumpers from Belarusian enterprises: “Golden Fashion”, Brest, “Cotton Company”, Brest, “Yunona”, Molodechno.

All have a composition of 92-96% cotton, the rest is elastane. Prices: 15-18 rubles each minus 20% TSUM discount. The same prices (without discount) for them in other stores. I usually take 5 jumpers so I can throw them all in the wash at the end of the week. This amount is enough for the entire school year, taking into account that my child does not change clothes during afterschool. Total: 5 jumpers at a department store discount cost me 70 rubles.

CUSTOMIZATION

On the day when I bought jumpers, I could not find the models I liked for a height of 120 cm. Therefore, I took one for 128, knowing that at TsUM until September 5 you can have your school uniform purchased from them adjusted for free: shorten and taper trousers, jacket, blouses , skirts. The only problem turned out to be that this does not apply to knitwear: they do not have the equipment for this. I don’t know what to do with long sleeves now. I'll think about it sometime later. In any case, for me, a person who knows how to sew even a jacket, adding sleeves to a jumper is not a problem. Just lazy.

SKIRT

I planned to take it, just like last year. I like their school uniforms, but they are plain, dark blue and black, with or without ruffles. For what exactly – read below, section “KALINKA” SCHOOL UNIFORM IN OPERATION. I didn’t like that this season they made a lot of skirts with elastic instead of a belt. I understand that sewing on an elastic band is faster and cheaper than sewing a belt and inserting an elastic band inside, but it looks ugly. Knitted inserts on fabric skirts, which differ in texture and shade from the fabric parts, also look ugly. Therefore, it felt like the child’s skirt had slipped down and his black knitted panties were sticking out. I was able to find only one model in which they successfully combined knitwear and fabric in tone and texture. I bought it. This is a model made of viscose and PA, with lining. Price – 26 rubles minus 20% if purchased on Discount Day. I am very pleased that there is no zipper or buttons, only elastic sewn on the inside.

SCHOOL UNIFORM "KALINKA" IN USE

When I reviewed the school uniform a year ago and wrote that I had chosen Kalinka, someone commented under the review that the uniform fades, stains blouses, something sticks to it, and is generally dismal in use. All year my daughter wore a dark blue sundress and a black skirt from Kalinka. There were no problems at all. Only the button on the back of the skirt was frayed from shuffling against the back of the chair and the fabric on the sundress became a little shiny in the same place, an area of one centimeter by centimeter, where there was a tighter seam.

I really liked that I didn’t have to iron either one. I washed it in the washing machine, hung it up, and put it on in the morning. The corrugation does not flatten when sitting on it. It was also important for me to have a stretchy belt on the skirt so that it wouldn’t put pressure on the child’s stomach when sitting, especially after lunch. That’s why I liked that an elastic band was inserted into the waistband of our last year’s skirt, allowing it to stretch by 2 cm. And of course, I didn’t have anything stained anywhere. Neither white blouses nor white jumpers. Therefore, this year I purposefully watched Kalinka.

SHOES

The best deal was school shoes at Megatop, where I bought Obba sandals to wear in class and closed shoes Shuzzi stand on the line. Because they had a promotion - the second product -70% (now -30%). In total, two pairs cost me 49 rubles.

The composition of Obba sandals is leatherette on top, lining is made of genuine leather. Shuzzi shoes – Genuine Leather inside, outside faux suede. I needed the latter only for special occasions when a strict dress code is required. On other days my child goes to closed shoes Marko, with a wide toe and made entirely of genuine leather.

These are shoes at Shagovita, the prices for these shoes are about 50 rubles:

Just below are similar models in KARRI:

WHITE UNDER T-SHIRT

It would seem like a small thing, but you can’t wear anything else under blouses. One way or another, colored cars or flowers will show through. I once bought excellent quality and price from TVOE. Now I would probably take a closer look at ESLI in MINIMAX. In addition, every fifth T-shirt will be free.

SPORTS UNIFORM

I also recommend watching ESLI, and for older children - “March 8”, “TVOE” and Oodji. If you need cotton and low price. And so it hangs everywhere, in every hypermarket and shopping center all year round. If you want “March 8”, you want NIKE.

SPORT SHOES

I have bought and will continue to buy fabric ones from the Lida Shoe Factory or NEMAN factories. They cost 22 rubles. They have no non-breathable lining under the fabric, a wide toe box and a Velcro closure. The design can be found decent and even quite fashionable. But whiners and bores never find it. Because not only people, but also sneakers don’t like whiners, hiding from them wherever possible.

And this is in MINIMAX. The design is OK, but inside there is the same “non-breathable” padding that all shoemakers make so that it keeps the shape of the shoe.

BOWS

Our school requires them, it’s part of the dress code for special occasions. I bought mine as a ribbon in the sewing department. But today I would buy a ready-made bow. I get nervous while I’m tying it: it’s slippery, and while you’re tying one knot, another one is coming undone. And when you do tie it, it’s still ugly. It's better to buy ready-made and pin it.

TIGHTS

Nowadays there are a lot of nylon tights in black, nude and white for children. Price – 2-5 rubles. On discount days you can buy cheaper in state department stores. They are also available in EUROSHOP - stores with one price. There are two forty there:

But plain cotton tights are not so easy to find. But in MINIMAX - take it out in buckets. White, flesh-colored, blue, blue, pink, black. There, every fifth item in the check is free. I took the white ones last year. I can’t say how they feel to wear, as they’ve only been worn a couple of times on the line. But I like their cotton socks; they haven’t had a single fray all summer. Also, by the way, monochromatic.

TOTAL

Blouse with short sleeves – 15 rubles, blouse with long sleeve– 15 rubles, five black and white knitted jumpers – 70 rubles, skirt – 20 rubles, two pairs of shoes – 49 rubles, sneakers – 20 rubles, five pairs of tights – 12 rubles. My prices were as follows taking into account the discounts and promotions that I talked about above. The backpack was left over from last year's Galanteya.

On the eve of Knowledge Day, for many readers of the women's website “Beautiful and Successful,” the question of how to dress a child for school is very relevant. After all, every mother wants her schoolchild to look not only neat, but also stylish.

In addition, clothes for school should be comfortable and warm.

Since in our country there is no single model of school uniform, the decision about what a child will wear within the walls of an educational institution is made, as a rule, by parents and school administration.

How to dress children for school

In general, depending on the requirements appearance Students in all schools can be divided into several main groups.

  1. Schools that require all students to wear a uniform that meets the same standard. Typically, students in such schools wear a uniform of a certain color - brown, gray, green, blue or black and white. A uniform color scheme for schoolchildren’s clothing helps employees of educational institutions better monitor the location and behavior of their students.
  2. General education institutions that have a dress code that allows students to choose the outfit they like best. The main requirement for students’ clothing in such institutions is business style.
  3. Schools that sew custom uniforms for all students. It is easiest to dress a child for such a school. Parents only need to provide the class teacher with information about the size of their children. The advantages of such a system are the absence of the need to look for a form in the store and the lower price of the kit.
  4. Institutions that do not require students to wear uniforms only. Students are allowed to wear any form of business casual clothing.

It must be said that there are not many schools in the country that sew custom uniforms for students. Perhaps because many modern parents they just don’t like it when their children’s freedom is hampered by strict rules that leave no room for choice.

In most cases, moms and dads have to choose and buy clothes for their children for school.

If the school does not impose strict requirements for uniforms, but you want to dress your child beautifully and stylishly, perhaps the advice from “Beautiful and Successful” on how to choose will be useful.

What clothes to choose for school: list of necessary things

Each student should have several sets of clothes.

  • Dress uniform. Many parents save on this set of clothes, since the need for it arises only a few times a year. Considering that children grow very quickly, an outfit purchased for September 1 may become too small for the child by the New Year. Buying such a suit only makes sense if the family budget allows you to do it several times a year.
  • Demi-season set. For a boy, such a suit should consist of trousers, a shirt and a jacket. In the off-season, a schoolgirl can be dressed in a suit with a skirt, blouse and jacket, or in a sundress with a blouse.
  • Winter suit. A school set of clothes for the cold season should consist of warm trousers with fleece and a woolen jacket. Instead of a shirt in winter, you can wear a warm sweater or a strict turtleneck. For the cold season, a woolen suit with a warm vest is also good. A winter school uniform for girls should include a warm jacket. It is better to replace a sundress or skirt with woolen trousers in winter.
  • Sports suit.
  • Additional replacement items. Boys need to buy at least 2 trousers and 2 shirts. It is advisable for girls to buy a set that will include trousers and a skirt, and also stock up on additional blouses, the number of which will depend only on the thickness of the parent’s wallet.

How to choose suitable clothes for a schoolchild

Some tips will help parents decide how best to dress their child for school.

  • Clothes for schoolchildren should be made from natural materials with a small addition of synthetics. These fabrics are characterized by wear resistance, practicality and hygiene.
  • When choosing sets for school, you need to try to find models that can then be combined with each other. The website recommends that its readers buy sets of different styles but similar colors for their children. This will allow you to combine things from different costumes with each other and diversify the student’s clothes.
  • For a boy, a vest option would be a very practical suit. It can be worn with light shirts and warm sweaters. Such a piece of clothing will allow the student to always look serious and respectable.
  • You must choose clothes for school together with your child. Let the schoolgirl choose the style of skirt or sundress that she likes. A schoolboy should also be given the right to choose, even if, in his mother’s opinion, he is still very young.
  • Schoolchildren's clothes must be tried on. At the same time, it is undesirable to buy a set that will fit the child: by the end of the year, the sleeves of the jacket and shirt may become short for an older schoolchild. It is better to buy things with a small margin. When trying on things, the child should be asked to bend over and sit down several times to make sure that the clothes do not interfere with his normal movement.

Clothes for school: approximate cost

Of course, each parent will choose clothes for school for their child based on their financial capabilities. Families who want to emphasize the special status of their baby will most likely look at elite suits and formal uniforms made in Italy.

But most mothers and fathers with an average level of income will purchase kits of domestic origin for their schoolchildren. Regular suit of three pieces of clothing (trousers, jacket and shirt) in the store will cost about 3 thousand rubles. You will have to pay the same amount for a set for a girl, consisting of a jacket, skirt and blouse.

A tracksuit will cost less - about 1,200 rubles.

To all those who are going to choose clothes for schoolchildren, our site wishes them successful shopping and recommends not to put off shopping for too long, so that later you don’t have to rush to choose and be upset because the most interesting and beautiful costumes already sold.

The child will wear sneakers on the street, and at school - in the replacement shoes he needs.

SPACECRAFT

A backpack for a first grader should be small and not exceed 10% of his own weight. The bottom of the backpack should be rubberized so that it can be easily wiped. It is advisable to choose a lightweight orthopedic backpack. You must try on the backpack before purchasing. Is your child comfortable? Does your backpack hang below your waist?
