Step 1. We begin work by creating a calla peduncle. Carefully wrap the prepared piece of wire with a thin strip of green crepe or corrugated paper.

Step 2. At the end of the wire using the same paper strip create a wide pestle.

Step 3. Cut a strip 1-1.5 cm wide from yellow crepe paper. We process the green pistil of calla lilies with the resulting ribbon.

Step 4. To create a petal, you need to make a template from high-density paper.

At first with a simple pencil make a sketch of a petal in the form of a droplet. With him right side create several smooth bends. Next, we outline the pencil outline of the petal with a marker, and erase the extra lines with an eraser.

Cut out the template along the finished outline.

Step 5. Draw its outline with a pencil onto a sheet of white paper. We draw the long and thin tip of the petal by hand.

Then we cut out the part.

Step 6. Use an eraser to erase the remaining pencil lines.

Step 7. After applying bottom part pestle with burning glue and attach it to the white petal as shown in the photo.

Step 8. Connect the side parts of the petal together. We fix them with glue.

Step 9. To decorate the receptacle we will need a wide corrugated strip of a green shade. We stretch it so that all the folds disappear, and then glue it to the base of the bud.

We treat the entire length of the peduncle with it.

Step 10. Slightly curl the long tip of the petal.

S. D. Costa
Now I’ll tell you the legend about the flower,
About how calla lilies appeared on earth.
At the deity, cruel, Indian,
My daughter fell in love, because it’s an everyday thing,
Fell in love with a brave and courageous young man,
Who lived in a simple ordinary tribe.
Having learned about their love, he made his daughter invisible,
But still she came down from the mountains to her beloved.
The young man only felt that she was next to him,
The string of his soul again sounds with longing.
I collected flowers and sewed a blanket,
And he covered his beloved with it in the evening,
But he saw only her silhouette,
And he burst into tears, trying to find the answer to fate.
His father, seeing this, took pity on him,
And he returned his daughter’s former face.
In the place where the blanket fell,
The whole clearing was covered with new flowers.

The method of making flowers that you will now see is strikingly different from all the techniques known to you previously. The material from which these callas are made is natural, environmentally friendly and accessible to everyone. Well, enough intrigue, let's quickly get down to the fascinating process of creating flowers.

You will need corn leaves (yes, that one secret ingredient), parquet glue or wood glue, iron, scissors, hair straighteners, yellow paint for the pestle, floral wire, glue gun, floral tape.

For calla lily petals, only the widest part of a thoroughly dried corn leaf is suitable. For each petal, glue two sheets together using parquet glue.

Smooth the glued sheets with an iron, this will strengthen the entire surface and make it smoother. Cut the petals into the shape of a peak from the blank and set aside for now.

For the pestle you will need leaves that have been previously painted yellow and also well dried. Form an oblong pestle from the yellow husk around the tip of the floral wire and secure it with thread.

Using a glue gun, glue the pistil to the petal. Wrap both edges of the petal and fasten them together. Wrap the stem with light green floral ribbon. For added realism, give the tip of the petal a slightly curved shape using a hair straightener.

Beautiful roses from cotton pads - step-by-step master class

To make a stem, take a two-core wire 35-40 cm long and divide it into two separate veins about 10 cm long - in the future this will be a stem and a branch with leaves. Next, strip one of the veins about 5 centimeters down to the wire and screw 2 more wires for the leaves to it using pliers. If you have a husband at hand, you can involve him in making the frame of the future rose, since he is probably more accustomed to using pliers with wire

To make the flower stem look more natural, it must be wrapped with green thread, at least No. 40 thick.

Now let's get down to the most interesting part - the formation of a rose bud. To do this, pour water into a bowl and paint it with paint. easter eggs(in our case yellow, orange, red). If you don’t have paint on hand, you can use regular gouache diluted with water or experiment with other dyes.

We slightly squeeze out the excess water with our fingers, and then apply it to the upper base of the prepared stem and roll it up into a bud.

For a full rose flower, it is enough to use 6-7 cotton pads, which we place around the formed bud in the form of petals.

To ensure that all the petals hold on and the base of the stem looks natural, we wrap the bottom of the bud with the same green thread, thereby connecting the flower to the stem.

The finished roses can be hung with the buds down over the washbasin until completely dry, and at this time start making leaves. Take cotton pads and cut them into leaf shapes.

Paint them in the same way as the flower petals, but naturally green.

Painted leaves also need to be dried. After the disks have dried, open it in half to half and insert the end of the wire intended for leaves there, coat the middle with PVA glue and press both sides of the workpiece. This way you will get rose petals.

And, voila! Your cotton pad rose is ready! To give it a more vibrant color, you can spray ready product hairspray with glitter.

Make a few more roses, coloring them different colors and get a beautiful bouquet that will not fade even after several years!

If there are small children in the house, keep the bouquet out of their reach to avoid injury from the wire frame. And if you want to attract children to creative process- try to make it together a simplified version of a bouquet of roses made from cotton pads, in which a safe frame is used.

Callas made from cotton pads, master class

As many have already guessed, our flowers are made from ordinary hygienic cotton pads and cocktail straws. For the stamens in this MK, yellow corrugated paper was used, but if you don’t have it on hand, regular paper will do. colored paper or fabric.

If your straw is not green, you can easily “recolor” it by wrapping it with green corrugated paper or green thread, wrapping the entire stem of the future flower, turn to turn.

To form a beautiful calla flower, dip the tip of a cotton pad in water, wetting no more than one-third (this will help it dry faster later).

Using your fingers, carefully shape the top of the disk into an elongated arrow-shaped shape and twist it slightly, as shown in the photo. Using wet hands, also shape the entire petal.

Now let's start making the stamen: For this, in addition to yellow corrugated paper, we will need glue. In the master class we used a glue stick, but if you don’t have one, PVA will do. After coating with glue, screw the paper onto the tip of the stem (approximately 4 - 5 cm)

Now we have all the components of the calla lily ready, which all that remains is to connect.

We spread PVA glue on the bottom of the petal, wrap it around the stem tube, just below the stamen and leave it until dry.

After drying, we correct the shape of the flower by wetting our fingers in water, and in its image and likeness we create the rest. Since it is very easy to make calla lilies from cotton pads, it will hardly take you more than 10 minutes to make one flower.

All that remains is to form a beautiful bouquet, and also, if you wish - make a creative vase, like the one shown in the photo.

Happy creativity!
