“This is so festive New Year's clothes for the bottle - I made the fur coats of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden the other day.
It was the first time I knitted such a product.
A friend saw the photo on the Internet and was inspired to buy one for herself. And since she doesn’t know how to knit herself, she asked her to knit me.
And so the experiment began. And how the New Year's clothes for the bottle were knitted, I described as best I could. I tried to be more detailed and understandable.
Materials
- Pekhorka yarn “Children’s whim” (white and red colors for Santa Claus and white and blue for Snow Maiden),
- hook number 2.
New Year's clothes for a bottle - how to knit
1st row - we knit with white yarn: from 53 air loops, we close it in a ring, i.e. We knit a connecting stitch into the first loop of the chain.
Option #1

4th row - knit in half-columns
5th row - with hinged loop
6th row - half columns
7th row - with hinged loop
8 row - half columns
Next, change the color to red (Santa Claus) or blue (Snegurochka) and knit from rows 9 to 28 with regular stitches.
Row 29 - decrease 3 loops in a row and also three more rows i.e. Rows 30,31,32. In row 33 there should be 41 loops left
Change to White color and knit the 33rd row with half-columns
Row 34 - with hinged loop
Row 35 - decrease 3 stitches in half-columns in this row
Row 36 - with hinged loop
Row 37 - half-columns, decrease 2 more loops
Row 38 - with hinged loop
Row 39 - half columns
Row 40 - knit with another thread (red or blue).
I knitted the white strip for the fur coats separately on 7 loops using the same principle as the fur for the collar and hem. 
The body is ready!
cap
We collect 23 air loops from white yarn onto the hat and close them into a ring.
1st row - half columns
2nd row - with hinged loop
3rd row - half columns
4th row - with hinged loop
Next, change the color (to blue or red) and knit another 5.6 row
7, 8 rows we decrease loops every other i.e. close the cap...
During the knitting process, we try on the cap on the bottle because knitting is different for everyone. If desired, the finished fur coat can be decorated with sequins or beads. 
For the Snow Maiden, separately weave braids from white yarn and sew them to the hat, 
and for Santa Claus you can tie a beard... 
Well, of course, he wasn’t the only one with this set of New Year’s clothes for bottles; there was another one who wanted to buy such fur coats.
And another set of New Year's coats for bottles was created!!!
And since the New Year is coming soon, I think this set of New Year's clothes for champagne will not be the last this year!

It seems to us that we have not yet written everything about crafts for the New Year, although there are a lot of interesting articles and ideas on this topic on our portal. But one topic was only partially covered - a cover for a bottle of champagne for the New Year. It’s easy and quick to make, and as a present or as a table decoration it turns out original and fun. The easiest way is to create a tight-fitting red suit and sew white decoration on top. It can be either knitted or any other. They do it, of course, by immediately tying in a different color, but it’s more complicated. If you only know how to work with knitting needles and you have them, make a red “tube” on four knitting needles or circular knitting needles according to the principle of a regular sock.
We use ribbons and bias tape
A do-it-yourself elegant Santa Claus is made from a bottle by gluing ribbons to the base or directly to the bottle. It is better to use the first option so that the suit is removable. Why do this was stated above. So, do the following:
The Snow Maiden is made in the same way, only the colors of the ribbons are different, and instead of a hat they make a kokoshnik.
Paint the bottle
If you don't have time at all, use others simple ways. The Santa Claus craft from a bottle can be made using regular surface painting.
To do this, do the following:
- If possible, it is better to soak the bottle labels, although this is not necessary. The same applies to degreasing the surface.
- Take red paint and a sponge or wide brush. Cover the surface of the bottle with it. In the case of champagne, up to the top golden label. Acrylic fits well. You can buy a can of white paint and tinting (red for Santa Claus, blue for Snow Maiden). You may have to do more than one layer, or even better, first prime it with white or a special compound. In a word, try to achieve an even colored surface.
- After drying, you create decor: glue on white trim from ribbons, lace, and tinsel. You can even use elements of decoupage, that is, ready-made napkins with decor, stencils.
- Treat the finished product with clear varnish to add shine and greater durability.
Plastic craft bottles: master class
Everyone usually has this material. Depending on the size of the bottle you can do like this Christmas tree toy, and a complete decoration for the interior.
To create such a souvenir, any of the technologies listed above are suitable.
You can try one more quick way. To make a beautiful and neat Santa Claus from plastic bottles, you need to do the following:
- Take a bottle and cover it with paper. This makes it easier to work in the future.
- Wrap the bottle with cloth or a red bag, together with the lid, and secure it with glue.
- Use cotton strands to trim coats and hats.
- Draw a face on cardboard and glue it to the base.
- Make hands from rectangles of fabric. Decorate the bottom with cotton wool in the form of cuffs. Glue the elements to the bottle.
- All that remains is to make the beard and accessories. The gift bag is usually sewn, and the staff is made from a pencil, rod or stick wrapped in satin ribbons. A beard is usually made from cotton wool, but it can even be made from plastic spoons.
Using the same technology, you can make any figurine or even create a plot composition. So, the “Father Frost and Snow Maiden” craft will take its rightful place on your holiday table or under the Christmas tree.

Making such a removable and reusable costume for decorating a bottle of sparkling wine is actually very simple. I think everyone has a Santa Claus hat lying around in their house from last year’s festivities, so we’ll use it to decorate the bottle in an original way.
Everything is clear from the detailed photo of the master class, so we’ll do without further ado.
Now let's look at options for how to decorate a bottle of champagne in the shape of a New Year's tree.
Decorate champagne with sweets! It will be on the table and beautiful Christmas tree and + delicious gift. You can put this Christmas tree on your holiday table, or you can take it with you as a original gift, if you are going to celebrate the New Year at a party.
Champagne is a drink that is appropriate at various events and, of course, at such a celebration as a wedding! Let's decorate the bottles in the shape of the bride and groom.

Making a bride:
Let's start with the collar
We continue to decorate and now it’s time for a beautiful dress.
Father Frost and Snow Maiden costume for a bottle of champagne (MK)
You will need:
a bottle of champagne;
fabric approximately 50x50 cm (in this case, knitwear, but you can use any other fabric, the main thing is that it does not fray too much);
thin padding polyester 50x50 cm;
satin ribbons (preferably in contrasting colors and different thicknesses) 0.5-1 m, depending on the idea;
ribbon with decorative snowflakes about 1 m
The threads are white (for padding polyester) and match the fabric.
In this case, the color of the fabric and ribbons was chosen in accordance with the signature colors of “Dancing”.
Snow Maiden's outfit (work progress):
First, let's wrap the bottle with padding polyester so that the top looks like a gate and cut out a circle to cover the bottom of the bottle.
We cut off the excess padding polyester, carefully rounding the corners as shown in the photo below (dotted lines). Having formed the collar, we sew the side sections together to form a cylinder. Note! We sew the cylinder from the top to the collar (shown with a solid line).
Then sew the bottom
After the padding polyester cover is ready, we proceed to decorating it with fabric. In the same way, we wrap the bottle with fabric, tuck it, bend it, measure it in such a way that we get an interesting voluminous outfit for our future Snow Maiden))) Cute folds and beautiful curves are welcome! To prevent the fabric from slipping, it can be secured with pins.
After the fabric is laid, we sew it to the padding polyester, straightening out all the irregularities. We sew it so that the fabric does not slip and holds firmly enough. And don’t forget to sew the padding polyester bottom to the bottom, forming neat folds along the bottom for more volume!
Let's start decorating! We sew a ribbon of snowflakes along the edge of the collar. Then we sew the same ribbon onto the outfit itself, placing it randomly, according to our own wishes.
To make the cover more elegant and festive, we sew blue bows on the sides.
This is easy to do: tie the ribbon with a bow and sew one snowflake in the middle. Then carefully sew this bow on the side (imitating some kind of sleeve) and curl the ribbon using scissors. We sew exactly the same bow on the other side.
You can put a necklace on the “neck” of our Snow Maiden. To do this on white satin ribbon All you have to do is sew on snowflakes and tie them to the neck of the bottle.
And of course, every Snow Maiden should have a chic braid! And ours is no exception!!! The easiest way to weave a braid is from the same padding polyester; it is soft and pliable.
We cut out a long, not very wide rectangle, cut it from the bottom into 3 parts (but not all the way!) and braid it. We form a “cap” on top, hem it where necessary, and cut off the excess. To make it more believable, we form a cute bang at the front.
We tie a blue headband decorated with a snowflake “on our head”, and tie the braid with the same elastic band.
That's all, actually! You can sew a few more snowflakes onto the outfit itself, but these are minor things)))
Santa Claus outfit (work progress):
The blanks for Father Frost's outfit are made by analogy with the Snow Maiden's outfit.
First, we measure the padding polyester, cut out the collar, sew the sections and sew on the bottom. Then we apply blue fabric, cut off the excess and sew it to the padding polyester. There may be fewer folds and frills here)))
To make it more similar to a caftan, we sew a thin strip of padding polyester and snowflakes on the front. We sew on a white satin ribbon to tighten the caftan at the neck (untying it will make it easier to get the bottle).
We cut out the sleeves, sew them together, and add padding and snowflakes to the bottom.
Then we sew the sleeves to the caftan.
But what kind of Santa Claus is this if he doesn’t have a beard? Let's give our grandfather a beard and a hat!
We cut out the beard from padding polyester, make a cut for the mouth and eyes, thereby forming a mustache. We make small cuts along the bottom of the beard to make it look fuller and more realistic.
For a fabric hat, cut out a rectangle and a circle, sew them together, and cover the bottom with padding polyester decorated with snowflakes. To keep the hat in shape, we stuff it with padding polyester. We carefully sew the beard to the hat.
We put a hat on the bottle and our Santa Claus is ready! You can sew snowflakes on the collar to make the outfit look richer and more festive. Well, just like the real thing!
