Method one: felt on a hoop

You will need: a hoop, felt in 2 colors, glue, pencil, thread and needle, pattern paper, scissors.

1. Fold the sheet in half and draw the outline of the ear, slightly extending it downwards. Cut along the contour - you will get a pattern for the main part of the ear.
2. Cut out two blanks for the ear. Thick felt in “natural” colors will suit you. If you find a spotted one, there will be a spotted cat. If you want an alien cat, take purple or green!
3. Wrap the blank around the hoop in the intended location of the future ear, align the edges and sew the cat ears with an external decorative seam.
4. Cut out a triangle with rounded edges from pink felt, smaller than the resulting ear triangle.

1. Make a pattern in the form of a slightly elongated triangle, the same for both blanks. Transfer the pattern to the fabric and cut out 4 triangles - 2 pink and 2 fur. Cut a strip of fur a couple of centimeters longer than the length of the hoop, 2.5 times its width.
2. Now you can sew cat ears using any convenient seam - the main thing is to align the outer edges of the triangles. Sew the outside sides so that the base remains open.
3. Cover the hoop with fur on the outer seam, securing the threads well. Now turn out the resulting ear triangles. If you want plump ears, insert thin padding polyester or cotton wool inside. If you use fur that is thick enough, you won't need padding. Sew the ears to the fur wrapping of the hoop.
