Crocheted summer panama hat. Children's panama with crochet flowers. Schemes, description of knitting. Scheme of correct field extension

Summer is a wonderful warm season, however, sun rays and heat can be dangerous and cause heat or sunstroke. Therefore, in such weather, it is very important to protect the child’s head with a comfortable and, preferably, light, headgear. Summer panamas that are perfect for girls can be crocheted with your own hands. Cotton panamas allow the skin to breathe, and the original models will not leave indifferent any small fashionista.

We crochet summer panama girls for girls in a master class

A few tips for knitting a baby hat for beginners:
  • For beginners, it is better to choose solid colored threads and avoid melange threads, as they will make it difficult to count the loops.
  • It is better to choose natural yarn from cotton; high-quality acrylic from viscose or silk is also suitable. Avoid fleecy threads and lurex.
  • Crochet threads must be well twisted, otherwise it will be very inconvenient to grab them and knitting will slow down significantly.
  • It is important to choose the optimal shape for the hook, the head of which should not be too round or too sharp.
  • In order not to make a mistake with the size, it is worth linking a small sample of the pattern, then washing and steaming, so you can accurately calculate the shrinkage of the threads and the number of loops.
  • They begin to knit hats the same way as napkins: they make a sliding loop or a small ring of several air loops. On average, the flat part of the panama will be 16-21 cm.
  • When the edges of the panama begin to bend, the number of increases is gradually reduced.
  • Before knitting the fields, it is advisable to make a rim of several rows of single crochet columns (you can take contrasting threads).
  • Embroideries, decals and knitted flowers are suitable for decorating panamos.

You will need a mixed yarn (cotton and viscose 50:50 "ivushka" 430 m / 100 g), hook number 2.

Work on the panama begins with the crown. We twist the thread with a ringlet and bind it. In the first row - 3 air loops to rise, (air loop, double crochet) - repeat the rapport in brackets 13 times, then close the circle by knitting another 1 air loop and connecting loop. For the opposite end of the thread we tighten the ringlet.

We proceed to knitting according to the scheme a round part of the desired diameter (bottom):

Calculation of the diameter of a circle: the circumference is equal to the diameter times pure Pi (3.14). For example, if the length is 50 cm, then 50: 3.14 \u003d 15.9 (round up to 16). We knit a circle with a diameter of 16 cm.

Next, we knit, without making an increase: (double crochet, air loop), increasing the required panama depth. We carry the hook along the arch of the air loops. After this, we knit the bezel in 3 rows with white crochet columns. The edge needs to be tied with a pattern with openwork festoons according to the schemes.

We try to make with our own hands a panama hat for a girl “camomile”

For this work you will need cotton threads of white, yellow and green colors.

At the beginning of knitting with yellow threads we connect 7 air loops into the ring. Next, we knit 3 loops on the rise and 16 columns with crochets. Chamomile will be with seventeen petals. The middle is ready, the yellow thread needs to be cut off, leaving a more or less long section of the thread in order to sew on it an ornament (a ladybug).

An approximate scheme of the bottom of the panama:

With white threads, we begin to knit the petals. For one petal: we collect 16 air loops, knit into the fifth loop from the end of the chain: four double crochet, four more with one crochet, then three half crochet, double crochet, knit a half loop into a single crochet of the previous row. We knit the rest of the petals. The flower is ready. It must be tied with connecting loops and break the thread.

Scheme of the main pattern:

Having attached a green thread, we knit arches from 3 air loops between petals and above them. Then we knit 3 crochets in each arch and break the thread.

We knit the next row with a yellow thread and cut it off again. We turn to knitting embossed facial columns with white threads. We continue knitting without increases to the required panama depth.

We knit the rim before knitting the fields in 3-4 rows with single crochet. We knit the fields according to the scheme shown below:

This pattern looks very impressive on a baby hat. Yarn for knitting can take one tone or make contrasting fields. Pure cotton of a light shade is best suited, in such a panama hat it will not be hot, and the pattern is the most clear.

First, we collect 6 air loops and close in a ring. We knit according to the scheme with the description: in each air loop we knit 1 double crochet. In the third row, in each column we knit 2 double crochet, 2 air loops, 2 double crochet.

Then we knit 3-4 loops for lifting, 1 double crochet, 2 air loops, 2 double crochets, 2 air loops, 2 double crochets. We repeat the pattern to the end of this row, knitting it into each arch from the air loops of the row below.

Continue knitting until the circle reaches the desired diameter. According to the scheme in the photo, we knit the main part of the panama:

Fields can be connected according to any scheme to your taste. You can decorate a panama with a knitted flower, ribbons (draw a ribbon along the bottom row of the main part) or other decor at your discretion. Panama with pineapple pattern is ready!

Video on the topic of the article

For those who want to make out knitting panamas more clearly and get new ideas for creativity, we have prepared a selection of video workshops:

Amazingly multi-faceted crochet. From yarn, you can knit both warm clothes and light, sometimes airy, summer things. Knitted panama is a good example. Bright panamas crochet like knitting novice moms. This explains the great abundance of children's panamas in this section.

Knitting panama is often not difficult and will suit a beginner needlewoman. A simple panama scheme can be decorated with a bright flower, for example.

Panama Size: for girls 9-12 months. Hook number 1.5. Yarn: "ANNA 16" (color 340, blue) 100% mercerized long-fiber cotton; "LILY" 100% cotton. Pan

For knitting a top (size 42) and a hat, light cotton thread “Polet” 420m / 100g of the Moscow factory “Kamteks” was used and wastes of colored cotton threads of similar thickness

Here is such a panama hat from several schemes (customer request). It took only about 80g of 100% cotton yarn (all colors). Panama turned out very bright, cheerful

Set for the girl. The kit includes a dress and a crocheted hat. Yarn 100% cotton. The hat can be knitted according to my master - class, located wounds

Many people like my hats - panamochki and they ask for a master class. Now the warm season is approaching, when mothers want to tie their babies

Today I want to show my new work - a panama for a girl, the color is red, saturated, bright. Crocheted from baby acrylic, pleasant to the touch and very soft

The bottom layout is not complete, there should be another row with the extension, where the extension goes through 3 fans. I’ll try to explain in words, because I’m unlikely to succeed in drawing better. For the bottom, the rapport of the pattern in height is repeated 4 times, the first time by 6 fans, the second by 12, the third by 18, the fourth by 24, and then it already fits without increase, i.e. 24 rapport just on the circumference of the head. The expansion is due to the arch of 3 VP, which is knitted in a row between the fans of 7 CCH. (then in the next row PSSN fits into this arch). First, these add. arches fit between each fan, then after 2, then after 3. In words it seems a lot and complicated, in fact it’s very simple, I didn’t even bandage the bottom, the first time and without any pattern this pattern extension went well for me
Flowers for decoration are also on the eye. 6 vp to close in a ring.
2nd row: * 2ССН, 7в.п *, repeat 6 times.
3rd row: each arch of 7 vp tie * RLS, MSS, 10 SSN, PSSN, RLS *, SS in the SSN of the previous row.
Tie a flower with a contrasting thread * SS, vp *
Panama knitted from daisy yarn, hook No. 2, on the circumference of the head approx. 50cm

After the panama hat is connected to the desired depth, the row that goes after the fans (3СБН, 5в.п.) Has tied up the СБН, then a row of arches of 5 v.p. is connected (2 pieces per 1 pattern repeat). And then the fields according to the fan pattern. In the main, the fan knitted 9 CCHs, in the last row 3 CCHs knitted together were replaced by 2 CCHs together, and then tied the fans with arches of 3 vp On the last row of the pattern still stretched a ribbon

Head circumference: for any circumference.
Yarn: "Ivushka" Semenovskaya yarn (50% cotton, 50% viscose, 430 m / 100 g).
Hook: No. 2

Despite their young age, little princesses always want to look magical and beautiful. Often the whole image that a little girl invented for herself spoils an absurdly picked up headdress, so the baby does not want to wear it in any way, despite the terrible cold or, on the contrary, the scorching sun. In order to prevent such incidents from happening to children, we recommend choosing accessories and jewelry in accordance with their wishes. Not only blouses and dresses should be beautiful, but also hats. In this article we will consider such an important detail of the image as a panama hat for a girl.

Most often such products are crocheted. Subject to simple rules, the result often exceeds expectations, and even the little and spoiled princess with joy will put on a hat that perfectly harmonizes with her sundress or summer costume. So how to knit this accessory? Now we will consider a brief instruction and get acquainted with some of the nuances in this work.

It’s worth starting with grasping the child’s head. It is clear that you can choose elastic yarn, and then you get a universal panama for the girl. Crocheting, however, it is not always possible to tie such a thing, since they work mainly with natural threads. Therefore, it is advisable to determine all the parameters in advance. And only after that start work. Now proceed to the selection of the yarn itself. Since we have a summer hat, it is advisable to choose cotton threads that let air through, therefore, the child will not be hot in such a hat. It is recommended to work with such yarn with hook number 1.5 (if one is not available, get one).

So, where does the creation of such a masterpiece as a panama hat for a girl begin? a ring formed from a thread, we enclose it in 9 single crochet columns. After that we tighten the result and tie everything. So we get the first row, which in the future will become the crown of the hat. Now we knit the second row. It begins with three lifting air loops, followed by the final air loop and a double crochet knitted in the next loop. This is the basis with which any summer panama begins to be built. First, the air loops are knitted with a hook, and then a pattern is attached to them - the one you choose.

Most often, hats for little princesses are bell-shaped. Such a model is universal and very comfortable to wear, in addition, such a hat is very easy to knit. It is important only with each row to increase the number of columns and loops in equal proportions, and make sure that the pattern is smooth and does not warp. Following these simple rules, you can quickly make knitted patterns for such products are very simple, and even a novice needlewoman will be able to understand them.

It is worth noting that the more air loops are provided in your pattern, the more delicate and gentle the accessory will turn out. However, doing an explicit search with them is also not worth it, because otherwise the hat will not fulfill its main function - to protect the child from sunlight. In principle, it is very simple, the main thing is to choose the right hook, yarn and deal with the scheme.

Good evening, Marina! It all depends on the density of the knit. And it is possible that the finished product will need to be slightly starchy. Good luck in needlework)
