I used a primer from the Runail brand, which is useless, and remains idle.

I advise you not to neglect this purchase. From regular cotton pads on the nails, there may be villi that will not be visible to your eye, and with subsequent gel polish you will cause many problems. I buy here such a huge roll, the price of which is about 300 rubles. If you use one, then enough for several years.



• base and top for gel polish

I do not advise saving on these funds. Since the base is in direct contact with the nail, it is very important that it be of high quality. Otherwise, you can ruin your nails. Well, a good top is the key to a long and lasting coverage. I had a base and top brand Gelish, despite their price, they did not impress me. But the base and top of the brand E.Mi I am very satisfied, and their price is pleasant. Now I still have a thick base from the Kodi brand, I am also very pleased with it. It is suitable for those whose nails are very thin, and they need to be strengthened.




• color gel polish

Here you can save a little. The only thing is that very cheap gel polishes can upset you with the color density and ease of application. Nevertheless, now there are a lot of worthy and inexpensive means. I have expensive ones in my collection: CND, Gelish, and inexpensive ones. Especially a large collection of Runail gel polishes, their price is less than 250 rubles, and the quality is very good.

It is necessary for drying the gel polish. Now there are UV (ultraviolet), LED and hybrid lamps. I have UV, it is the cheapest, I bought it about 3 years ago for 2,000 rubles. Now such lamps are much cheaper. Its disadvantage is that it is necessary to dry the gel polish in it for 2 minutes. While in LED or hybrid lamps only 30 seconds. But they cost much more, in stores you can only buy them for a lot of money (I saw the cheapest lamp for thousands of 6-7, and most sell for 10,000 or more). But they cost much cheaper on Aliexpress, I plan to order there in the near future.



About the process of applying gel polish:

1. Remove the gloss from the nail buff.  This must be done carefully, only slightly go over the nail, otherwise you can do harm.
2. We apply a degreaser to a lint-free napkin and go through her nails.
3. Apply a bond or primer to the nails.  Give a minute to soak in the medium.
4. Apply the base for gel polish with a thin layer.  Do not hit the base on the cuticle and the area of \u200b\u200bthe lateral rollers. Dry the nails in a UV lamp for 2 minutes, in LED for 30 seconds.

   

5. The item is optional!  For those who want to strengthen the plate, you need to use a rubber dense base. It is necessary to apply a drop of the base to the highest point of the nail plate and with light movements evenly distribute the base throughout the nail. For a better distribution of the base, the nail should be turned over and wait 10-15 seconds. After drying the nails in a UV lamp for 2-3 minutes, in LED 30 sec - 1 min.
6. Apply a thin layer of color gel polish.  I usually apply 2 coats, but sometimes 3 coats may be needed. We dry each layer in the lamp for 2 minutes, in LED for 30 seconds.

   

7. Apply top coat.  Dry the nails in a UV lamp for 2 minutes, in LED for 30 seconds.
8. If the base is with an adhesive layer, then remove it using a special tool.
9. Well, the final stage - applying oil to the cuticle.
