How to make a snowman out of paper, video

Craft-snowman made of paper can be an original New Year's gift or just a touching home decoration. This video shows a master class on creating such a small paper “miracle” - watch and create!

Good day to all!

The most wonderful holiday is approaching - New Year. Many prepare for it in a month. Say something too early? However, it is never too early to purchase jewelry, and vice versa. Especially if you decide to make some jewelry yourself, for example. And what can be done interesting. First of all, it is, of course, snowflakes. And what do we make of them? From paper.

In this article we will try to make paper snowflakes as well.

Making snowflakes out of paper is quite simple. Need paper itself and scissors. We take the paper, fold it several times to make a triangle. Like this:

It remains now only to cut out the patterns. At the edges of the triangle, draw the desired pattern and cut it out. After that we unfold the paper and get a beautiful patterned snowflake.

From what pattern you draw, such will be a snowflake. There is no limit to imagination. You can cut, for example, such a snowflake:

Or this one:

In addition to ordinary snowflakes, you can make volumetric. Here the manufacturing scheme is somewhat different.

If we make a snowflake of six rays, you will need six sheets of paper, if eight-ray - eight, etc. On each sheet of paper we cut a square measuring 10x10 cm or more. The larger the size of the sides of the square of the workpiece, the correspondingly the larger will be the snowflake itself. Now at some distance from each other we draw parallel lines to get a few squares inside a sheet of paper. Approximately as in the diagram.

The next step is to take the scissors and make cuts along the drawn lines (red). We don’t cut, but just cut, so that these two squares would be fixed from two opposite angles.

Next, take the central square (shown in the figure by an arrow) and turn its edges into a tube, towards the center. Glue the tips. Then we turn the sheet over and on the reverse side we do the same operation with another strip. Then we turn it over again and turn off the tube, and so many times, how many squares did you draw.

In the same way we do all the rest of the workpiece. After that we fasten them together and, as a result, we get a snowflake.

Cut out snowflakes from paper according to patterns that can be printed.

Snowflakes can be cut out not only by folding paper. You can pick up special templates, print, and then cut out your crafts on them.

Another fairly simple option.

And this snowflake pattern is a bit more complicated.

If you are bending a sheet of paper, but can’t imagine what pattern to draw to get a beautiful pattern, here are a few templates.

Or, for example, these.

This template is a bit complicated, but the result is a beautiful snowflake.

Several templates at once, some of them simple, some more complicated. However, patience and perseverance will help create a masterpiece. And, of course, children, how to cut snowflakes without them.

And a few more templates

Also beautiful, even a few delicate patterns.

These wonderful templates can be used.

Patterns for cutting beautiful snowflakes

In this section you can see some patterns for making snowflakes, according to which you can cut beautiful crafts.

According to this scheme, you can cut a snowflake, following the step by step drawings.

And here is another selection of patterns from several beautiful patterns.

According to this pattern, you can cut several different snowflakes.

Another example is how to bend a sheet of paper and cut a snowflake.

This diagram shows how to cut out unnecessary pieces of paper (shown in color) to get a beautiful pattern.

Variant of snowflake pattern with hearts.

And look at this diagram, quite interesting and original drawings.

And according to this scheme, we make a snowflake not only from a square sheet of paper, but also round.

Here are such wonderful schemes to choose for manufacturing.

Simple snowflake patterns for beginners in the origami technique

Origami is the manufacture of paper crafts without cutting. Snowflakes can also be made using this technique. Here are some diagrams.

In this option, scissors are used, but only to make incisions.

You can make such a snowflake out of paper:

To do this, use the following scheme:

In this option, you make a snowflake from the prepared modules.

Then from them we collect the snowflake itself.

Try another scheme in which you can fold a snowflake.

These were all snowflakes, let's say, in 2-D format. But volumetric snowflakes are also popular.

Video how to make volumetric snowflakes out of paper with your own hands (video)

Volumetric snowflakes look, of course, more beautiful and original. And if they are made also of a large size, then they will look quite impressive.

And here is a video where you can see how to make such a snowflake.

Do it yourself snowflakes from paper stripes

Volumetric snowflakes can be made using colored strips of paper. For example, you can do something like this:

To do this, take colored paper (colors can be any, to choose from). We cut strips 29 cm long and 0.5 cm wide. We cut about 20 strips.

Now we put strips in the form of a cross of 4-5 pieces, alternating colors. We put them intertwining with each other.

First, we glue together the most extreme strips (they are yellow in the figure), something like an auto-junction on the map should turn out.

Glue the remaining strips (white in the picture) to the corners of the opposing yellow petals. As a result, we get a snowflake, as on a sample at the very beginning of the description.

A simple way to make 3D snowflakes step by step

Volumetric, or 3-D snowflakes look slightly better than simple ones. Let's try to do this.

Take a square sheet of paper and fold it several times until you get a triangle. Six triangles must be made. And they should all be the same. Now, on each triangle, draw parallel lines at a distance of about 1 cm. The number of such lines depends on the size of the triangle and can be from three or more. Now we cut through these strips from one edge to another, but, of course, not to the very end.

We unfold the triangle back into the square and its central part we turn and glue.

Turn the square over on the other side and similarly glue the next incised square.

Turn over and repeat. And so on until we glue all the incised strips. A similar procedure is carried out with all the blanks. After that, first we fasten together three figures, then the other three.

As a result, we get such a snowflake.

or such.

Its size depends on the size of the paper. This craft requires a bit more time and more painstaking work compared to simple snowflakes. But the result is worth it.

Quilling snowflake master class for beginners (video)

Quilling is a paper craft technique that is cut into strips and curled. After that, all these twisted blanks are connected and we get the conceived craft. For example, such wonderful snowflakes.

How to make snowflakes using quilling technique see in this video

So, we examined various ways to create Christmas snowflakes. Choose, craft and decorate your homes. Good luck

And today I want to show you many ideas of homemade snowmen. All of them can be made with your own hands from improvised materials. You will probably even be surprised what opportunities are hidden in ordinary socks and plastic cups.

The main thing is to do all the crafts with the children, so you will create community in the family and unforgettable memories. Of course, not all crafts will be light, there are those that require accuracy and perseverance. But what will be the result!

ABOUT! Now let's do something very interesting! Specifically, we will make a cute snowman out of a sock. This is a very simple craft, even a preschooler can handle it. Such a handsome man looks very neat and dignified. In general, let's find a pair of white, blue or blue socks with whole noses and heels. And stock up on 15 minutes of time.

Before I give you a detailed workshop, please find beads or pins for the eyes and nose, buttons, ribbons or other decor. I want the crafts to be elegant.

And we will do such a handsome man.

Take:

  • 1 toe
  • thermo gun or glue,
  • scissors,
  • pins
  • buttons
  • a thread.

First, cut the sock in half.

We take the part that has two open ends. And we knit the thread on one side. This must be done from the wrong side.

Now we hide the knot inside, turning the sock outward, and inward we fall asleep rice.

You can use any large cereals - peas, buckwheat, lentils, etc.

Now we need to make sure that the cereal does not spill out of the workpiece. Therefore, tightly tie the top of the sock.

It remains only to indicate the place where the head will be. To do this, tighten it with threads.

The workpiece already resembles a craft. It remains for us to decorate her and put on a hat.

The cap can be fixed with hot glue. To do this, the second part of the sock needs to be tucked and put on a craft.

There is another very functional idea of \u200b\u200ba sock snowman. Here she performs a decorative and useful function.

Take:

  • sock,
  • hot glue,
  • a bottle
  • cotton wool or synthetic winterizer,
  • threads, felt for a hat.

It is better to take a glass bottle, not plastic. So it will be more stable and will not fall under the weight of pencils or flowers.

So, the first thing you need to measure the height of the bottle and put it on the toe. Anything extra needs to be cut off.

Then put a drop of hot glue from the thermo gun on the bottom of the bottle and put on the sock on the bottle. So we fixed the fabric and glass.

Now you need to make the craft soft and voluminous. To do this, put cotton or synthetic winterizer in the space between the toe and the walls of the bottle.

We form the head with threads.

Tighten the edge of the sock at the neck. We also do this with threads. Then we designate a nose, eyes and a mouth. For this purpose, the child can take markers.

From felt, cut out the ring and strip, which is equal to the diameter of the inner part of the ring.

Glue the hat in place.

This craft can act as a pencil or vase. Everything to your taste.

Another similar workshop is the creation of the popular snowman Olaf. Based on the first scheme I described.

From such crafts, you can create whole compositions.

For decor use beads, ribbons, braid, sequins and even cones.

And if you want, you can sharpen and move away from the patterns.

Such a charm will definitely deserve its place of honor under the tree.

How to make crafts from plastic cups, step by step instructions

Another popular idea for creating a snowman is from plastic cups. The craft is voluminous and resistant to rain, snow and wind. Therefore, it is often made to decorate the courtyard, the street or as an ornament to the school.

And again, everything is quite simple and clear. However, we take a decent amount of time, because you need to process a lot of glasses.

Take:

  • cups
  • stapler
  • cardboard,
  • scotch.

So, cups will need more than 200 pieces. Stock up in advance. The circle is up to you. The more you lay out the first circle, the wider the ball will be.

So, from the cups we lay out a circle. Then we fasten each little thing with neighboring ones with a stapler.

We do subsequent rows in the same way, but reducing the number of glasses. Do not forget to connect the rows with each other.

You need to make 2 balls. One more, another less.

We connect them together so that the smaller workpiece is higher - this is the head.

Now we make a nose out of cardboard. To do this, we turn it into a cone shape and glue it with tape. If this is a craft for the street, then you need to glue all the cardboard completely.

We insert the nose into the glass and decorate the snowman with scarves, vests or hats.

But you can also make less voluminous toys from cups. One has only to turn them upside down and beautifully decorate.

How do you like the idea? I think that all this is very simple, however, very inspiring to create such crafts.

DIY snowman for the New Year from threads and glue

And the kids will love the idea with PVA threads and glue. We will take ordinary balloons as a basis. The execution technique is quite simple, we have already made crafts based on it earlier.

Take:

  • threads
  • pVA glue,
  • ball,
  • paper.

We need to inflate the ball to the size that we need. Then we get the threads and glue PVA. It is better to take it in large banks. Now there are two work options :. You can wrap the ball around the threads, simultaneously coating each row with glue. And you can pierce a hole in the glue tube with needles and thread a thread through it. So it will be immediately saturated with the composition and easily stick to the ball.

Then leave the ball to dry completely. After 6-12 hours, we burst the rubber shell and carefully tear it from the threads. The result is a ball shape! We need at least two such balls.

Now make a carrot. To do this, twist the cardboard into a cone, wrap it with cling film. And according to the described scheme, we wrap it with orange threads with glue. Dry, remove the cone and peel the polyethylene from the threads. It remains the turn of decor.

Of these crafts, you can combine whole compositions.

The original volumetric snowman made of paper and other ideas

Now take the paper and think about what can be made of it. And then immediately there is a great many ideas!

We will do several options. And the first thing I want to show you is such a voluminous craft. The whole process of its creation is shown in detail in the photo.

Workshop №1

You will need two A4 sheets to draw a snowman and image of trees. This is applied to different leaflets to achieve a volume effect.

Then we take two blue sheets of cardboard. One will be the background and the other the front bezel.

And also fold the accordion six A4 sheets wide (short side). They will be the frame to which all sheets are glued.

And now from complex to simple. A couple of workshops in the photo that the kids will easily repeat.

Workshop №2

Master class number 3

Now the idea is more complex, but no less attractive.

Workshop №4

Such a large snowman can be made using this scheme. Bend along dashed lines. And the part is cut in straight lines. Edges with indentation are for bonding.

And here is the assembly scheme itself.

I think that all the children will be pleased with the snowman on the window! There are many stencils and protrusions for cutting.

You can create whole compositions.

Like here, I'll attach the template below. It is most convenient to stick such paper figures on toothpaste or paste. They are then easily washed with water.

From paper, cardboard and felt, you can make many different pendants and garlands.

It is convenient to connect them together with threads, wire or double-sided tape.

That's not all! Now we find application for paper towel and toilet paper bushings.

We draw on them eyes, carrots and mouths. We glue hats and scarves and enjoy such a quick and cute craft.

If desired, the sleeves can be glued with corrugated paper, colored sheets or fabric.

You can also make applications. To do this, take the drawings that I cited below and color them. Or we fill the voids with plasticine and colored sugar. For small children, you can take different cereals.

These are such nice ideas!

Master classes of crafts from cotton wool

We have a lot of cotton at home. It somehow ceased to be used for its intended purpose with the advent of cotton pads. But it’s great for New Year’s crafts!

So, we’ll make a snowman out of cotton wool, and below are ideas for creating it from cotton pads.

Take:

  • cotton wool
  • kebab skewer,
  • pVA glue,
  • decor.

First of all, we form two balls of different sizes from cotton. Just roll up the fiber in your hands.

Now we need these balls to not break up. To do this, coat them with PVA glue. And to keep them together, you can use skewers for barbecue, wire, pencil. We stick it between the balls, stringing. The excess part of the stick must be cut off.

What can be made from cotton pads?

Well, of course, a snowman! This is primarily what comes to mind. After all, the shape of the disks allows you not to fool yourself with cutting out even circles!

Make such suspensions on the Christmas tree. They perfectly replace Christmas decorations.

In combination with paper, you can create a whole application.

Do you like cotton, how is the material? Then send to realize such an idea!

Felt, paper and any decor are perfectly glued to the disks. So that the edges do not push, they can be sewn with a decorative seam.

I think that kids will find something to do!

Crafts from fabric and felt with patterns

And now, a whole section for needlewomen! We will consider what can be made of felt and fabric. Of course, it will take more time and perseverance than in the previous sections. However, the level of difficulty will be more.

Master class number 1.   We sew a snow tower. I give a pattern.

Master class number 2. We will sew soft toys. To do this, choose a fleecy soft cloth. White, gray or blue velvet is perfect.

Take:

  • velvet,
  • threads
  • needles
  • pin.

We take this pattern and transfer it first to a sheet of paper, and then to the wrong side of the fabric.

To prevent the parts from slipping off the fabric, pin them with pins to both sides of the velvet. Circle the patterns and cut several parts at once.

Now we sew all the blanks from the wrong side, leaving one edge not connected.

Through it, we turn each blank and stuff it with cotton or other filler. Sew the edges and attach all the details.

Now let's turn our eyes to felt. We will need different shades of it. The main color, of course, is white.

Pattern number 1.These beauties are done quickly. Use the given pattern. Fill a little filler inside to give volume to the craft.

From fabric and felt, you can make both voluminous and flat crafts.

It’s very easy to make such flat suspensions. The main thing is to sew the edges with a decorative seam.

Another sweet idea that is easy to bring to life. As a basis, take two floral ornaments of different sizes. And for a stick, you can use a toothpick.

Master class number 3. Snowmen from felt.

More simple ideas for hanging on a Christmas tree. Of these, you can also make New Year's garlands.

Composition from different shades of felt can be flat. When the parts are glued to each other using hot glue.

More ideas for suspensions.

  Pattern number 2.   Bell.

Pattern number 3.   Snowmen with wings.

Based on this pattern, you can make other crafts, for example this one.

Master class number 4.Walking snowball.

Master class number 5. Flat craft.

Master class number 6.   Christmas tree hangers.

Based on this workshop, you can make other forms of a snowman.

Pattern number 4.   Photo frame.

Pattern number 5. Snowflake in a hat.

Master class number 6.   Snowman in a scarf.

  Pattern number 7. Cheerful snowman.

Pattern number 8.   Snowman in mittens.

We will have a little rest and see what beautiful decorations on a Christmas tree can be made in just 15-20 minutes.

Pattern number 9.Snowman smile.

Pattern number 10. Snowman Snowball.

Pattern number 11.   Snowman in mittens.

Pattern number 11. A simple idea for kids.

Pattern number 12.   Craft in a sleeveless jacket and tie.

Now let's sew the famous snowman Olaf to everyone.

Workshop №7

And for this we need fabric, filler, scissors and a needle.

We take felt or dense white and soft fabric.

  1. We translate all the patterns onto the fabric, folding it with the front sides inward.
  2. We cut out the details and sew them together, leaving one edge free. We turn them on the front side.
  3. We fill the blanks with filler.
  4. Sew the edges and connect all the details.
  5. We mark the eyes, mouth and eyebrows.

A detailed diagram is shown in this manual.

This is the first sheet of the pattern for Olaf and his bride.

The second sheet of the pattern.

Master class number 8.   Bag for gifts.

Take:

  • fabric or felt of three colors,
  • buttons
  • scissors.

We will use this pattern.

Transfer it to the fabric. And cut out two details. Try on buttons and details of the nose and mittens.

Sew or glue small parts to one side of the white fabric.

We connect both sides, folding them with the front sides inward and stitching. We turn out the bag. If desired, we insert an elastic band or lace upstairs.

What kind of beauties our craftswomen did not sew. Let's see another small selection.

And even on aprons portrayed the hero of today's article!

For those who like to knit more, I have prepared a separate section.

Crocheted snowman (amigurumi) with a pattern

Amigurimi technique is very loved by needlewomen. The simplest crochet elements are taken there: a crochet with and without crochet. This is done to create integrity.

Do you like this toy? Below is a knitting pattern!

For those who embroider a cross, you can take this pattern as a basis.

These snowmen are made in a simple knitting technique.

Let's give one more detailed diagram for these snowmen.

Flat crafts are made in single crochet columns. Each row increased by 1-2-3 loops from the center.

Knit with pleasure!

Pompom kindergarten craft ideas

In the kindergarten, you can make such an article from pompons. The child will quickly understand the whole point. Threads need to take terry or yarn.

And here is a step-by-step master class itself. We will need two pompons of different sizes. We connect them. To do this, you can use two options: 1. Tie them together, 2. shown below when the pompons are mounted on a twig, wire or skewer.

We do pompons according to this drawing. We take two cardboard rings. Wrap them tightly with yarn. Then we spread the edges. Pull the thread between the rings and tighten the ends.

The idea of \u200b\u200bconnecting pompoms to a skewer.

Try to repeat the entire master class and make such a handsome man.

Well, if there’s absolutely no time, then at least such a cutie!

I believe that crafts from socks and pompons are the simplest and easiest to perform. And they can be taken as a basis when creating compositions in kindergarten and school.

DIY snowmen from improvised materials

Often we have a lot of creative materials at hand. For example, for crafts, you can use napkins.

Or ordinary plastic bottles and cans.

Even a simple plank can be turned into a thematic detail.

Of course, mold a plasticine snowman.

But from the pasta you get the whole composition. It is better to fasten the parts with hot glue.

Wooden pendant!

Idea with CDs. We have a lot of lying around on the balcony, you need to put into business.

Toy made of cardboard and threads. For a more stylish design, take the twine.

To decorate the cards, you can use the elements of a snowman with buttons.

From foam and Christmas balls make a similar craft.

Someone even painted stones. For this craft, only flat-turned sea pebbles turned by water are suitable.

So, my dear! Today there are a lot of ideas, I think you will find something suitable for yourself. I wish you success in your work!

The snowman from the light bulb is ready!

Any holiday requires preparation, especially the New Year. Usually, the simplest solutions are used for this: snowflakes are cut out of paper and suspended. But who said snowflakes should have a traditional shape? We propose to cut a funny snowflake with snowmen, focusing on the proposed workshop.

To create such a funny snowflake, we need to cook:

  • - a sheet of white paper;
  • - black marker;
  • - blue pencil;
  • - orange felt-tip pen;
  • - a simple pencil;
  • - scissors.

First, bend the corner of an A4 sheet. So we can form a blank for the square.

Cut off the excess rectangular strip.

Now the resulting triangle needs to be folded in half.

We make one more addition.

After that, you need to use a simple pencil. To them we must draw the contours of future snowmen. Halves of large and small snowmen should be present on our blank. Shaded places will need to be cut out.

We take scissors and carefully cut our snowflake along the contours of the snowmen.

If necessary, remove the remaining pencil with an eraser.

Expand the snowflake. On it we see 4 large snowmen and 4 small ones.

And now you can start decorating our crafts. With black marker draw eyes and mouth. We represent a carrot nose with an orange felt-tip pen.

We color the hat with a blue pencil.

In a similar way we make out the remaining snowmen.

Our snowflake "Round dance of snowmen" is ready.
