HOW TO KNITT A NEW THREAD OF ANOTHER COLOR ...

Need to take a new thread - make on it one air loop and dress next to the loop (previous knit) that you have now on the hook. Thus, you have two loops on the handle - the old color and the new color - we consider these two loops in one mind   and continue to knit as if nothing had happened next with a new color   - stretching the next column simultaneously through these two multi-colored loops (as if it were one loop)

Now let's get to work ...

FIRST STEP - KNITTING THE HOOK WITH A HOOK.

Air row - we knit a chain of 27 air. loops + 2 loops for rise on the second row

First row (as in the diagram) - we knit 26 double crochets (the 27th column is the same 2 air loops that we did to climb the second row)

STEP TWO - MAKE THE NOSE AND EYES on a snowman grab.

STEP TWO - MAKE A CONTOUR BELT WITH A HOOK TAKE AND sew a lining.

As we see the edges of the tack, we are not as beautiful as we would like - therefore, we need to tie the whole New Year's tack around the edges with columns without a crochet - we make the columns tight so that the border at the tack turns out to be quite rigid and keeps its shape well. At the corners of the tack (to make the corner neat), we knit 3-4 columns into one corner loop.

Sew the fabric on the back of the tack (you can make a layer of synthetic winterizer or another layer of plump fabric. And that's it - our new New Year's tack is ready.

And now we’ll do another snatch in the snow theme

SNOWMAN IN A HAT - in the form of a New Year’s potholder.

We will need   yarn of three colors, buttons more for the eyes and less for the mouth. As well as a piece of natural white fabric for sheathing the underside of the tack (the fabric should be natural so that it does not melt when it comes into contact with hot pots and pans).

FIRST STEP - KNITTING THE TAKE OF THE HANDLING HOOK.

Air row   (not in the diagram) we collect a chain of 17 loops + 2 air. hinges for lifting to the second row.

Second row   (according to the scheme) - we knit 17 double crochets (the 18th column is replaced by 2 air units that we scored for lifting)

Third row   - dial 2 air. p. for lifting to the third row - and we knit a double double crochet in ONE loop of the previous row - etc on sewing crochet potholders below.

STEP TWO - WE PROCESS THE EDGE of the knitted cloth of the New Year’s potholder.

Our knitted tack cloth on its sides has rather clumsy edges (from the fact that we reduced and added columns - it always does not look very aesthetically pleasing). We need to smooth out these rough edges. To do this, we again take the hook and walk around the edges of the entire tack with columns without a crochet - accordingly changing the colored thread, when the color of the edge of the new modern tack changes.

STEP THREE - SEW THE FABRIC SIDE from the inside of the tack.

Our crocheted tack on the wrong side has a bunch of knots, weaves of threads - and we need to hide all this.

We take the fabric (natural, so that it does not melt when in contact with hot pans) - and we cut out the same silhouette of the tack from the cloth. We will need to sew this fabric part to the reverse side of the new modern tack (pre-process this fabric part 0, be sure to bend a section of our fabric along the edges and sew it together)

If we want the tack to be thicker - we can still make a gasket of centipon or another plump material between the fabric and knitted sides.

Santa Claus on New Year's Eve.

We will need   - 3 small glomeruli - red, white, pink (or beige) + 2 black buttons and one red for the nose. It will be much more beautiful if   white threads will be slightly fluffy (but not mohair or Angora - woolen potholders burn) there is such a disheveled cotton yarn on sale - with tails and tassels - it will look great on the beard and mustache of our tacky Santa Claus.

FIRST STEP - KNITTING THE FABRIC OF THE NEW YEAR'S TAKE.

Air row (it is not on the diagram) -we collect a chain of 24 air. loops + 2 loops for lifting to the second row.

The second row (according to the scheme) -we knit 24 double crochet (25 columns are the same 2 air units that we climbed to the second row).

Third row -we collect 2 air. loops for lifting on a row + we knit 24 double crochet.

Fourth row -the same thing - but here begins a new color of knitting ...   And you need to know how to knit a thread of a new color(I just talked about this when we knitted the first tack in this article).

STEP TWO - we crochet a mustache for Santa Claus at the New Year's Eve.

Now it remains to sew eyes, nose and mustache to our New Year's grab, so that it looks like Santa Claus. Mustache fit easily   (here is a small diagram below) -

Air row   - 6 air n + 1 air for lifting -

Second row - double crochet - double crochet - double crochet - again double crochet - single crochet - and end with a connecting crochet.

STEP THREE - we process the edges and the wrong side of the New Year's knitted tack

The edges of the tack are processed with single crochet - changing the color of the thread as you move along the colored zones. At the corners of the tack we knit THREE single crochet in ONE corner loop (to get a neat corner).

At the top of Santa Claus's hats - make a loop   (6 air loops and we knit so many single crochet columns in them - to get a neat “donut loop”).

Cover the back of the tack with a cloth   (If desired, you can make a layer of syntypone or fleece inside.
