Knitted primrose flowers in pots - Irina's work.

To knit primroses I used a 1.5 crochet hook, Bebe alize thread for the flowers and the pot, and yarn art angora de luxe for the leaves. The consumption is very small.

Daffodils. One of my first works. I’ve been knitting recently, about the second month. I really like the knitting process itself. I take the diagrams from the Internet.

Author Olga. Flowers and leaves are knitted from KARTOPU acrylic yarn, and the pot is made from wool blend yarn.
Hook No. 1.75, product weight 230 g. I used: 200g yarn, 90cm wire, padding polyester. Flowers 7 pcs., leaves 11 pcs., bouquet height 28.5 cm.

Flowers, leaves and a pot are knitted from wool blend yarn.
Hook No. 1.75. Product weight 230 g. Used: 200g yarn, 90cm wire. Sintepon. Height 27 cm.

As a vase - tied plastic bottle. I did not glue the middle of the flower, but sewed it on. It is better not to starch the flowers, but to soak them in sugar syrup and shape them while they are wet. First wrap the wire with thin yarn, then bend the end of the wire using pliers. Then glue the flower to the wire.

You will need: for pots - leftover yarn of pink colors, as well as white mohair and black or gray wool mixture (the yarn should not be thin); for cacti - green yarn; for flowers - pink and yellow melange; hook No. 3; molds for pots (for example: plastic containers for dessert).

Crochet Stuffed Toys the most different sizes quite often used as gifts and souvenirs. This is not to say that bears and bunnies no longer surprise anyone; they are certainly cute. But there are objects that are very rarely used as prototypes for handmade figurines. in a pot, crocheted - this is what you really don’t expect as a present.

Originality of the idea

Of course, this product can also be made to decorate your own home. However, you should be prepared for the fact that you will have to urgently make the same ones for your enthusiastic neighbors and friends.

There is no crochet pattern as such. Due to the individuality of the product, you will have to develop it yourself. It’s not as difficult as it might seem at first glance, but it’s also not so simple as to say that any craftswoman can handle the job.

Making a pot

The best way to get flower pot The ideal form is to tie a pot made of plastic or cardboard.

First of all, you need to make the bottom. It should be knitted using any circular pattern. It's better that it was dense pattern, because the base will be visible through the openings of the openwork. Next you should start knitting the side parts of the pot. You need to constantly apply the canvas to the base and make extensions in accordance with its shape. A pot tied around a plastic frame will be the most stable, especially if filled with plaster or tightly folded material.

Soft base for attaching flowers

To get a beautiful voluminous bouquet and not have to spend a lot of time and yarn on flowers, you can use a semicircular lining. It is quite easy to knit or sew from soft fabric. This lining is knitted in two parts: a flat bottom (like the bottom) and a semicircular top (you can use the pattern for the top of a hat).

After it is sewn and stuffed with padding polyester, it needs to be attached to the upper edge of the pot along the entire circumference.

So, the blank for the pot is ready, you only need color schemes (crocheted).

Knitting flowers to fill a pot

Flowers can be absolutely anything. The photo above shows a pot of violets. They are quite easy to make. Here you can apply different schemes crochet. There should be a lot of flowers in pots, they should be placed very close to each other. So that the soft base is not visible.

This flower has five petals, but they can be adjusted by increasing the number of arches of air loops in the first row. Also, for knitting violets, the knitting pattern for the first layer of voluminous flower petals, which is located below, is perfect.

Knitting leaves

Once found in pots, you need to take care of the green leaves. Their presence greatly refreshes the composition. Small leaves can be tied as follows:

  • A chain of 8 air loops (VP) + 1 VP lifting.
  • Single crochet (SC), 2 half double crochets (SC), 2 double crochets (SC), 2 SC, 1SC.

PLS serves as a transitional stage between RLS and SSN. They begin to knit it in the same way as the SSN. But instead of knitting a loop and a yarn over in sequence, they are knitted together.

To make leaves bigger size, you need to dial large quantity VP and increase the number of DCs in the middle of the sheet by the same number. If the thread is very thin or you want to knit large parts, the described algorithm can be applied on both sides of the chain of VPs.

Multilayer patterns in pots

The photo below shows a three-dimensional flower.

It consists of three layers. The petals of each of them are knitted in circular rows. For all layers, except the first, two rows are required: first, a VP chain is knitted, then a petal is tied onto it.

There is nothing complicated in making petals, you just need to follow the pattern. The principle of arrangement of flower layers deserves a separate description:

There can be as many layers as you like. Using these crochet color schemes, you can change the color or texture of the yarn to knit different layers.

Crochet roses

A rose can be crocheted in several ways:

  • Make each petal separately and then sew them together.
  • Knit a multi-layer flower (as in the previous paragraph) from yarn of the corresponding color. There should be a lot of layers, at least ten.
  • Roll up a flower from the prepared knitted piece.

This article will look at the last method of how to crochet a rose. This method can be considered the simplest, since it requires a minimum of time and effort. The sequence of knitting a rose is outlined in the following photo.

This flower cannot be called a traditional rose (rather, a fantasy one). It consists of two types of petals: pointed and square. Knitting begins with a set of VP chain. To calculate it, you need to take into account that a pointed petal requires 6 base loops, and a square petal requires 3 loops.

Next, knit the 1st row: it consists of cells loin mesh(see diagram). In the process of knitting the 2nd row, partial formation of pointed petals (picot from 3 VPs) and knitting of square ones occurs. For separation different types You can change the thread color. Lastly, knit the 2nd row of pointed petals.

At the final stage, the rose needs to be folded in the correct order and sewn.

When thinking about how to knit in a classic style, you don’t have to look for a new pattern. You can perform the described algorithm by tying all the petals into square or semicircular ones (as in the diagram with a three-dimensional flower).

Crocheted flowers in a pot. Azure Lily.

Leaves and pot made of thin acrylic yarn, hook No. 1, 75, weight finished product 220 gr. (yarn -180 gr.), wire, padding polyester. Height 23 cm, width by flowers 20 cm.

Leaves— 6 pcs., flowers- 5 pieces.

I took the idea and inspiration for the flowers.

Flower petals 6 pcs. :
chain 20 air. p. (more or fewer loops are possible, depending on the thread and the desired length of the petal).
In the 3rd stitch from the hook, start single crochets; at the bottom of the petal in one loop – 2 tbsp. without crochet; 4 lifting loops, st. with 3 yarn overs; at the top of the petal – 5 st. with the 3rd yarn over in one loop; to the end of the row, stitches with 3rd crochet, 4 air. P.
Each stitch with 3 picot yarn overs from 3 loops. The wire is knitted when I knit st. with 3 yarn overs. Cut the wire and twist it.

buds same as described above, only the petals are shorter by 10 air points. and 15 air.p. chains.

Leaves 6 pcs.: chain of 40 loops: in the 3rd point of the chain, 1 connection point, 36 stitches. b/n, 3st.b/n in one, 2p. lifting, 1st. from 1n., 1s 2n., 27 tbsp. from 3rd n., 1 half-st. from 3n., 1 tbsp. with 2n, 1 semist. with 2n., 1 tbsp. from 1n, 1st half. with 1n, 1 joint, at the top: 1 tbsp. b/n + 1 air + 1 tbsp. b/n., 1 joint, 1 half-st. with 1n, 1st. with 1n, 1 semist. with 2n., 1 tbsp. with 2n., 1 half-st. from 3n., 27st. from 3n., 1st 2n., 1st. with 1n., 2 air.p.

Leaves- tied a thin wire in a circle with yarn using the “crawfish step” method and wrapped the tails tightly with thread. I give the desired shape to the leaf by bending the wire.

Note: changing “27 art. from the 3rd n.”, the number of columns, the length of the leaf changes.

Flower centers- my imagination, I wrapped the wire with thread of different colors.

Stem– “tube”, knit a chain of 9 loops in single crochets to the desired length, then knit two stitches in each loop. without a crochet. Then knit without adding stitches. Single crochet to the desired height (without lifting loops).
I insert and secure the wire into the bottom part of the flower (twist it into a ring) and sew the bottom part to the flower. The voids were filled with padding polyester.
I tie the assembled bouquet with a thick thread to secure it.

Potty this is my fantasy (you can knit it differently): for the pot I cast on a chain of 42p. in two threads, without adding or subtracting loops, knitted 9 cm (without lifting loops) in a circle - 1 tbsp. without crochet, 1p. air, repeating this until the end.

Saucer: Having knitted the desired height of the pot, dial from the beginning of knitting the pot in a 42p chain. and tie 3 cm.

Earth: I cast on a chain of 15 stitches from black yarn. How to knit a circle look video. I simply knit a circle of the required diameter according to the diameter of the pot with a small hole in the center for a bouquet, and I put flowers there on a wire.

I fill the pot with padding polyester, sew on the soil, at the bottom of the pot I wrap the wire in different directions (the flowers will not fall out), and add padding polyester. I tie the bottom.
