How to make a crocodile out of paper with your own hands
Crocodile from the modules. Master Class
We will tell you how to make crocodile modules.
This craft can be made by children over 6 years old. This craft is simple and good for those who are just starting to engage in the art of origami.
Crocodile out of paper with your own hands. Manufacture
For the manufacture of crocodile we will use three colors of paper: green, red and yellow. The size of one module in our case is 7.5 by 5 cm. (Modules can be made of another size and a different color)
Collect red, green, and yellow modules. Schemes for assembling modules can be found.
1. Take 3 green modules, place them on the long side and using Method 1 ( see module mounting) attach to them the second row of modules (1 green, 2 yellow, 1 green).
2. In the third row put on 1 green module, 3 yellow, 1 green (see photo). Extreme modules should be put on with one pocket.
3. In the next row, leaving one free green corner on each side, put on 1 green module, 2 yellow, 1 green.
4. Fifth row: 1 green module (put on two green corners from the previous rows), 3 yellow, 1 green.
7. Eighth row: 2 green modules (extreme modules we put on with one pocket in one corner), 2 yellow, 2 green. Crocodile head is ready.
8. Now you need to assemble the body of the crocodile, using Method 3 ( see module mounting) Put 1 green module on the three extreme corners, then go 3 yellow, 1 green.
9. Tenth row: 1 green module, 4 yellow, 1 green.
10. Eleventh row: 1 green, 2 yellow, 1 green, 2 yellow, 1 green. Place one green module on each side of this row.
11. In the next row, leave one corner of the green attached module on each side (these are the paw mounts) and put on 1 green module, 2 yellow, 2 green, 2 yellow, 1 green (see photo).
12. The thirteenth row: 1 green module, 2 yellow, 1 green, 1 red, 1 green, 2 yellow, 1 green.
13. Leave one green corner on each side free and put on 2 yellow modules, 1 green, 2 red, 1 green, 2 yellow.
14. Fifteenth row: 1 green module (put on a free green corner and a yellow corner), 2 yellow, 1 green, 1 red, 1 green, 2 yellow. 1 green.
15. In the next row, leaving the extreme corners free, put on 1 green module, 2 yellow, 2 green, 2 yellow, 1 green.
16. Once again leaving one green corner on each side, put on 1 green module, 2 yellow, 1 green, 2 yellow, 1 green.
17. In the eighteenth row (the extreme corners remain free) put on 1 green module, 4 yellow, 1 green.
18. Then, leaving on each side one free corner (the place of fastening of the back paw), put on 1 green module, 3 yellow, 1 green.
19. Twentieth row: 1 green module, 2 yellow, 1 green.
20. Twenty-first row: 1 green module, 1 yellow, 1 green.
21. The next row consists of 2 green modules. The tail will be attached to them.
22. Twenty-third row: 1 green module, 1 yellow, 1 green. Green modules put on two green corners of a corner from the previous rows.
23. Repeat paragraph 21 and paragraph 22 two times, then again, paragraph 21.
24. Finish the tail of the crocodile 1 with a green module (see photo).
25. Make front and hind legs.
Fore foot: put 2 yellow ones on the green module, -1 green on them.
Hind paw: insert 2 green modules into each other, put on a row of 2 yellow modules, finish with a green module.
26. Attach the paws (see paragraphs 11 and 18). Glue the crocodile's eyes.
Note: For a stronger connection of parts, use PVA glue.

This animal is known for being among the highest category of reptiles. Crocodiles are even considered to be one of the closest relatives of extinct dinosaurs. A dangerous and toothy animal will not seem so scary if you try to make it out of paper.
For work you will need white and green sheets of paper, a pencil, scissors, a ruler, a black felt-tip pen, glue stick.
First, bend the green paper so that it turns out to be divided into 8 identical parts (this can be achieved by phasing in half folds).
We cut it according to the intended folds.
Six of the eight strips obtained are required to be bent in half.
Cut these strips.
One of the short strips must be cut lengthwise.
Now we start assembling our crocodile. His body will consist of 10 short wide stripes. We take one of them and put a little glue on the edge.
We connect the strip into the ring and then insert the next green strip.
So we will continue until all ten strips are used. The body of the crocodile is ready.
Take a long, wide strip and insert it into the outermost ring.
Glue the ends of this long strip.
Make a diagonal incision. This will be the tail of the crocodile.
Insert another long strip from the other end.
Now take the remaining short wide strip and cut it along.
From one half we make the eyes of a crocodile. To do this, bend it in half and cut it in a semicircle from the edge.
Use glue to fix the eyes.
We will slightly correct the mouth of the crocodile. Cut the upper part along the edges, and bend it from the bottom.
We also make small bends on the front of the upper and lower jaw of the crocodile.
From the remaining two narrow and short stripes we will form the paws of the animal. Bend them along.
After that, we will make the folds so that the letter “P” is formed.
Using glue stick we fix the paws on the lower part of the body of the crocodile.
From white paper we cut a strip 1.5 cm wide.
