Children's crafts from seeds (seeds) of watermelon

Watermelon seeds are wonderful, which can be used in children's creativity. What can be done from watermelon seeds with children?

One of the easiest ways to fix watermelon seeds on a craft is to push them into plasticine. Even babies can handle this method of making crafts from watermelon seeds, and crafts can be flat and voluminous. They can be done with children not only in the summer, during the watermelon season, but also in other seasons, you only need to prepare the seeds.

I once met a negative review of one woman on such a craft. She wrote that crafts made from watermelon seeds make her squeamish. I think that such an attitude appeared to her because she herself ate watermelons as in a fairy tale - so that her mustache would flow and not get into her mouth. And the seeds spit out. But it’s much more convenient to eat a watermelon, cut it into small slices and remove the seeds with a knife from them. There is no reason for disgust in this case.

If cardboard is used in addition to plasticine in the craft, it is better if it is glossy, otherwise over time greasy spots appear on the cardboard from plasticine.

How to prepare (dry) watermelon seeds

To prepare watermelon seeds, you need to rinse them well, put them on a napkin or towel and wait until they dry. Then pour it into a jar or box for storage.

Dog - an artwork from watermelon seeds

This is a Dachshund dog with food in a bowl. Craft without a master class, because it took very few watermelon seeds, only for feed and ears.

Mouse - an article made from watermelon seeds

And for this craft my daughter needed only one watermelon seed. The result is a very tiny mouse.

Craft "Hedgehog" from plasticine and watermelon seeds

For this craft, the daughter used the remains of plasticine in different colors. She mixed them together, and a suitable dark gray color turned out.

Materials and Tools

 • watermelon seeds
 • rug (board) for modeling
 • plasticine gray or brown
 • black plasticine

Arrangement of crafts made from watermelon seeds

And this is a daughter’s composition from hand-made articles made from watermelon seeds:

 • in the foreground a hedgehog
 • bush and lizard for the company, watermelon seeds were not needed for their production,
 • near the bush on the right is an apple with a leaf of watermelon seed,
 • behind a bush a mouse hides from a hedgehog,
 • a butterfly crouched on a bush.

This composition adorned the lid of the coffee can in which we store watermelon seeds. There is no lizard on the lid, but two strawberry bushes with leaves from the same seeds appeared. And the jar itself can also be decorated with watermelon stones. How to do this, read the article.

Sometimes, in order to decorate a house or occupy a child with creativity, it is enough to look into the kitchen cabinet where the groceries are stored. Indeed, from cereals, beans, spices, grains and seeds, you can make decor in the style of eco or rustic, as well as developing children's crafts. The main thing is to show imagination and allocate some free time. In this material you will find 10 ideas and step-by-step instructions for making DIY cereals for children and adults, as well as a workshop on their coloring with food colors.

Idea 1. Topiary for table setting or interior decoration

Beans of bright colors are an excellent material for decorating a crown or a topiary pot. For example, from green peas you can create just such a decorative tree for spring home decoration or table setting for Easter.

Materials:

 • 1 pack of green peas (chopped and ground);
 • Foam ball base (sold in craft stores);
 • 1 pack of dry moss (any other material for decorating the "soil" of the topiary is also suitable);
 • 1 medium-sized clay pot;
 • PVA glue and thermo-glue in the gun;
 • Brush;
 • 1 wooden stick, skewer or a simple pencil (this will be the topiary trunk);
 • Acrylic paint of green color (for painting the ball in tone with peas);
 • Paints of the desired colors for the decoration of the pot (optional);
 • Styrofoam, floristic foam, or any setting mixture such as cement or alabaster.

Master Class:

Step 1. If you are not comfortable with the appearance of your pot and / or trunk, paint them and leave to dry.

Step 2. While the pot is drying, paint one half of the foam ball to match the beans and let it dry. When this happens, paint the other half of the bowl and leave it to dry as well.

Step 3. When the ball is completely dry, cut a hole for the barrel 2-3 cm deep with an awl or knife.

Step 4. Proceed to decorate it with peas. To do this, put it on a plate, with a brush, apply PVA glue to a small area and sprinkle peas abundantly on it.

Allow this area to dry a bit and begin to sprinkle the next part of the ball. Continue the procedure until the whole ball is overgrown with green peas, and then leave it to dry overnight.

Step 5. When the resulting crown dries, work on the spaces. To do this, glue the voids with glue and sprinkle them with grits again.

Step 6. Now insert the barrel into the ball, first pouring a drop of thermal glue into the hole made earlier. To keep the barrel tighter, you can lay pieces of paper around it and fill the hole with glue to the very top. Keep in mind that without paper, the glue will melt the foam and deepen the hole too much. Finally, when the trunk is fixed, shape the area around it with peas (if necessary).

Step 7. Engage in creating a fixing “soil” in the pot. In this workshop, floristic foam was used to fix the tree. If you also use foam or polystyrene, then you only need to adjust its size to the pot so that the tree stands smooth and firm. Otherwise, you can dilute any fixing composition according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 8. When the base of the topiary is ready, you only need to decorate it with moss, sisal, the same peas or any other cereal.

Idea 2. Panel or picture of cereals

Cereals, beans, grains and seeds come in a variety of colors, which means that they can "write" a picture or lay a mosaic panel. Depending on your idea and artistic skills, the drawing may be more detailed or very sketchy.

The following photo collection presents examples of children's crafts made from cereals and pasta in the form of applications.

In the next video, you can see the process of making cereal applications with the baby.

And here is a selection of examples of panels and paintings from cereals, which you can do with your own hands to decorate the interior (scroll the photo to the right).

Materials:

 • Various colored beans, cereals, seeds, pasta;
 • PVA glue and glue brush;
 • Thick and strong cardboard (for children's applications), a piece of plywood or canvas on a stretcher (for "adult" paintings);
 • Sketch drawing;
 • Paints and brushes.

Master Class:

 1. Paint the background of the painting in the desired color.
 2. Choose cereals that are suitable for the color of the selected picture and sort them into plates.
 3. Draw by hand or transfer to a cardboard a sketch, for example, through carbon paper or using a finished / home-made stencil.

 1. Put a thin layer of glue on a small area of the picture and immediately sprinkle on it a groats of the color that correspond to the picture in this area. When the area dries out a little, remove the excess cereal and continue to "paint" the picture in parts so that the glue does not have time to dry.
 • Remember that PVA glue dries completely in about 2 hours.

Idea 3. Decor frame

With the help of cereals, you can transform a simple frame for a photo, picture or mirror. You can fold a colored bean ornament or simply add relief to the surface by strewing with cereal.

If desired, the frame itself and the grits can be painted with spray paint.

By the same principle, you can decorate with cereal not only the frame, but also the interior letter as in the photo below. For the manufacture of such a letter were used: beans, purple paint in a spray can and a blank in the shape of the letter B, cut from plywood with a jigsaw.

And here’s the idea of cereal crafts for children - a magnet frame for a refrigerator with an ornament of colored beans.

To make such a cute photo frame, you just need to cut out the blank of the frame from cardboard, decorate it with colored beans according to the mosaic principle, and then glue a couple of magnets on the inside.

Idea 4. Decor of vases and bottles

Cereals can be used as a decorative filler for glass vases and bottles for candles, artificial flowers, twigs, dried flowers, makeup brushes and even knives. The following selection of photos presents examples of candlesticks in the autumn gamut.

This slider presents photo examples of decorative filling with cereal vases for flowers and plants.

Cereals and beans can fill not only vases, but also bottles.

And here are examples of the practical use of cereal-filled vases.

Glass for cosmetic brushes filled with colored rice

Here are some tips to help you create a beautiful composition:

 • In order not to spend on one candlestick per kilogram of cereal, in the center of the container you need to put a glass that will support the candle.
 • You can use one type of cereal or several types of cereals and beans of contrasting colors to get a striped filling of a vase.
 • To layer color cereal in a bottle, use a funnel or just paper folded into a cone.

 • Colored beans can be replaced by rice dyed with food colors as in the photo below (see the workshop at the end of the article).

Idea 5. Easter eggs decor

Fine cereals, grains, spices, star pasta, seeds and dried herbs can be used to decorate Easter eggs. You can simply apply PVA glue to the egg and roll it in grains or create any patterns according to the mosaic principle, after drawing a marking or sketch on the shell. Use stencils to display more accurate shapes and shapes.

Idea 6. Bird food in the form of figures

Cute bird feeders are a more original alternative to birdhouses.

Making such crafts from cereals and seeds is so easy that kids can cope almost without the help of adults.

Materials:

 • 3/4 cup bird food;
 • 1 sachet of gelatin;
 • 1/4 cup of water;
 • Cookie cutters (large and medium size);
 • Twine or tape;
 • Straw;
 • Baking paper;
 • Large bowl;
 • Pan;
 • A spoon.

Master Class:

Step 1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add gelatin. Keep the resulting mixture on medium heat for about 5 minutes (until the gelatin is completely dissolved), constantly stirring it with a spoon.

Step 2. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool for about 1 minute. In a large bowl, mix gelatin and bird food (3/4 cup or a little more) with a spoon or hands. This work can just be entrusted to children.

Step 3. Put a piece of baking paper on the table and place cookie cutters on it. Fill the molds with a mixture of bird food and gelatin half and ram it.

Step 4. Make twine loops of suitable length and slightly deepen their knots inside each mold with the mixture.

Step 5. Fill out the forms to the very top.

Step 6. Place all the figures in the freezer for 20 minutes, and then leave them to dry overnight or for a full day.

Step 7. Remove the figures from the molds, hang them on the trees and wait for the first guests!

Idea 7. Napkin rings

Decorate your toilet paper rolls with mosaic of cereals and seeds to create charming napkin rings that are perfect for autumn or summer table setting.

Materials:

 • Variety of cereals, seeds, beans and spices;
 • Tube of toilet paper;
 • PVA glue;
 • Stationery knife;
 • Acrylic paints;
 • Brush

Instruction:

Step 1. Cut the toilet paper tube into three sections of the same width (about 4 cm).

Step 2. Paint each section (inside and out) in some neutral or contrasting color. You will get the ring blanks.

Step 3. Prepare and sort various seeds, grains, beans, and spices.

Step 4. Apply a thick layer of glue to a small area of the ring and sprinkle or pinpoint cereals and seeds on it. Wait until the glue in this area dries and only then proceed with processing the next area. Continue these steps until the entire surface of the ring is finished, and then leave it to dry.

Step 5. If you are afraid that the seeds will come off and peel off, additionally treat them with a thick layer of glue, covering even the gaps between the seeds.

Idea 8. Decorative balls

You can make decorative balls from cereals and foam blanks that will look spectacular on a dish or in a glass vase. Such a composition will decorate any dining table, console or coffee table.

Materials:

 • Black paint in spray;
 • Foam balls of small diameter (or balls made of floral foam);
 • PVA glue;
 • Cereals, such as chopped peas, red beans, white beans, black beans and lentils.

Instruction:

 1. Paint the foam ball black or cereal and let it dry.
 2. Apply glue to a small part of the ball with a brush, and then sprinkle the beans or paste them pointwise. Allow the treated area to dry before proceeding to the next area. Continue these steps until the entire ball is covered with beans.
 3. Make some of these balls and lay them on a beautiful dish. If desired, complete the composition with candles, dried branches, cones or any other decor.

By the way, if instead of balls we take foam plastic eggs and paint the cereal in pastel colors, then you will get the original Easter decorations as in the photo below.

Idea 9. Decorative wreath

From cereals and a base ring, you can make a beautiful wreath for seasonal or holiday home decoration.

Materials:

 • Chopped green peas;
 • Two straw wreaths with a diameter of 20 cm (can be replaced with a foam blank);
 • PVA glue or glue gun with a large supply of glue sticks;
 • Brush;
 • Baking sheet;
 • Foil;
 • Twine.

Master Class:

 1. If you use a foam base, first paint it in the tone of the cereal with acrylic paint and let it dry completely.
 2. Cover the baking sheet with foil and fill it with peas.
 3. Apply thermal glue or PVA glue to a small part of the inside of the wreath, then sprinkle croup on it, brush off the excess and wait until the glue dries.
 4. Fill out the next area in the same way. Continue the action until the entire inside of the wreath is covered with peas as shown in the photo below.

 1. Glue a small portion of the outer side of the wreath, immediately roll it in a baking sheet with peas, rotating a little. Wait until the glue dries a little and proceed to the processing of the next section until the entire outer side of the wreath is covered with peas. Then work on the voids, filling them pointwise with glue and grits.

 1. In the same way, shape the back side of the wreath, and then its sidewalls.
 2. When the whole wreath is covered with peas and the glue is dried, additionally walk with a brush with PVA glue on the croup, filling with glue, including the gaps between the peas.
 3. Wait until the wreath is completely dry, and then tie it with tape or twine and finally hang it over the front door, over a window or dining table.

If you wish, you can decorate the wreath with dried flowers, twigs, artificial flowers and berries or an applique made of cereals of a contrasting color, for example, as shown in the photo below.

Idea 10. Coffee or serving table

Materials:

 • Large frame for photo;
 • A bar stool, the seat of which is slightly smaller in width than the frame;
 • Drill and drill;
 • 4 small screws;
 • Primer;
 • Paint;
 • Paint brush and glue brush;
 • PVA glue;
 • Epoxy resin (in this case less than 1 L was required);
 • Cereals;
 • Film for floor protection.

Master Class:

Step 1. Separate the frame from the “native” back panel.

Step 2. Cut a panel the size of a frame from a thin piece of chipboard or plywood and glue it to the frame with liquid nails or wood glue. At this stage, it is desirable to seal the joints, for example, using wood putty. This is necessary so that further epoxy does not seep through the openings between the frame and the panel.

Step 3. Put the frame on the stool and fasten it to the 4 screws with a drill (in the middle of the frame). You will get a design that resembles a table.

Step 4. Place a film on the floor to protect the floor. Cover the table with a primer, wait for it to dry completely and paint with paint in 2-3 layers. Keep in mind that each coat of paint must be allowed to dry before applying the next coat.

Step 5. Draw several sections in the niche of the frame, if you want to make a table like in this master class, or draw a sketch of the picture / layout according to your idea.

Step 6. Using a brush, apply a thick layer of PVA glue to the panel in a niche in a specific section and evenly place the groats there. Make sure the cereal layer does not protrude above the frame. Continue to decorate the panel with grits in accordance with the markings.

Step 7. If you want to eliminate the movement of grains when pouring resin, additionally cover the entire composition in the frame with a thick layer of PVA glue and let it dry for about 24 hours.

Step 8. Now it is time to pour the cereal in the frame with resin. Make sure the table is on a level surface. Carefully following the manufacturer's instructions, mix the components of the resin, and then slowly fill it with the entire composition in one layer. Remove the resulting bubbles by blowing them through the straw. Leave the table to dry overnight.

Step 9. When the first layer of resin has dried, carefully fill the groats with the second layer, making sure that it does not go beyond the limits of the protrusions of the frame. Let the resin dry for another 24 hours and enjoy your new table.

In winter, when the window is cloudy and cold, it’s nice to remember the summer, the flowers giving us a unique aroma and beauty. And I want to do something that will pleasantly surprise and delight friends and relatives. In boxes on the shelf are seeds of plants, vegetables, flowers dried in the summer. They melt in themselves the warmth, light and smell of summer. The idea of creating a composition of seeds comes. Creating paintings and crafts from natural materials is a special kind of creativity called floristry. In floristry works, dry leaves, flowers, herbs, seeds and fruits of plants, and tree bark are used. A variety of forms of natural materials themselves often prompt interesting stories. By fantasizing, imagining, combining natural materials, you can create amazing things with your own hands.

Today I offer a master class on making flowers from seeds.
 Look at the seeds of pumpkin, melon, watermelon. What do they remind you of? Of course the flower petals. Try to collect these petals into beautiful flowers. Here's what happened.

To compose a seed composition, the following materials and tools will be required:
 - frame, blue fabric;
 - thick white paper;
 - pumpkin seeds, buckwheat;
 - dried corn leaves, straws;
 - birch bark;
 - scissors, gouache paints, brush;
 - glue "Titan";

Step-by-step execution of a bouquet of natural material.
 Prepare the frame. Remove the glass and pull the fabric onto the cardboard or glue a sheet of colored paper.

 Mark circles with a diameter of 2-3cm, 4cm, 6-7cm on hard paper and cut them out. I used jars of different sizes.

At the edge of the circle, apply glue "Titan" and glue the pumpkin seeds. The flowers turned out.

 Mix the yellow paint with a little PVA glue and gently paint the petals. Let dry and apply colorless nail polish.
 Then grease the middle of the flower well with glue and sprinkle with buckwheat.

 While the paint on the petals will dry, let's make leaves. We will make them from the leaves of corn. (The leaves of corn were ironed, dried under pressure in the fall).

 Take the straws for the twigs.

 Make a vase. Let your imagination run wild. A vase, for example, can be made: from paper sprinkled with small seeds; from dried leaves; from straws. We will make it from birch bark. Take a thick cardboard, fold in half, draw a vase and cut it out.

 Cut the birch bark into thin strips. Lubricate one edge of the vase with Titan glue and glue the birch bark strips horizontally.

 Start binding. Consistently weave all strips vertically into the workpiece, fixing them at the ends with glue.

 Cut long strips along the contour of the vase. Glue the edging. The vase is ready.

 We form a bouquet. Glue the vase, then arrange the twigs - straws.
 Start filling the bouquet with leaves. First, the background, and then the foreground, giving the composition the desired shape and silhouette. Lightly palm the leaves through the paper. Leave 2-3 sheets raised. This will create volume.

 Glue the flowers. Place large ones below, smaller ones above, and buds at the top of the bouquet.

But such forget-me-nots from the seeds of watermelon were made by my pupil Ulyana.

Crafts from cereals and seeds are panels, appliqués, decor elements, and bird feeders. See how to make a topiary, a wreath of peas, a Christmas tree of seeds.

The content of the article:

Children will really like to craft various crafts from cereals and seeds, if adults show how to create them. Such fruits of joint work will help not only the development of the child, but also teach him kindness. Indeed, in this technique, original bird feeders are created, which the child will gladly hang on the street. Will be happy when the birds flock to a treat.

How to make a feeder from a cone, gelatin, from a bottle with your own hands?

Often in the city or countryside on New Year's Day, growing Christmas trees decorate. Having made bird feeders, the child himself will decorate the forest beauty with them and get a lot of pleasure from it. To carry out the plan, put next to the children:
 • bumps;
 • a tall small bowl;
 • cereal seeds;
 • sunflower seeds;
 • a brush;
 • a thread.
Step-by-step master class:
 1. If the honey is thick, first melt it in a water bath, when it cools down - pour into a bowl. Pour cereals, small unroasted seeds into another similar dish.
 2. Let the child grease the bump with liquid honey, then roll it in another container so that the seeds stick to the sweet surface.
 3. Now he will put his creation on spread paper or a tray so that the honey is dry, and the feast for the birds is better attached to the cone.
 4. After this, it is time to tie a thread to the feeder and go for a walk with the child in order to hang the craft on the tree.

Instead of honey, you can use a thick paste. To make it, pour in a container of 1 tbsp. l flour, dilute with a glass of water. While stirring, bring to a boil.

Remind children that birds should not be given salty, brown bread so that babies do not use such products while making bird feeders.

Have the children make bird feeders that look very original. Pre-take:

 • 1.5 cups of bird feed;
 • 0.5 cups of water;
 • 2 small packets of gelatin;
 • twine;
 • cookie cutters;
 • straw;
 • baking paper.

 1. Soak gelatin for 20 minutes in water, if required by the instructions. But usually in small bags one is sold that does not need to be soaked, immediately dilute it with water and put on fire.
 2. When the solution begins to boil, remove from heat, cool slightly and mix with bird food.
 3. Lay baking paper on the table, place cookie cutters on it, fill them with the prepared mixture.
 4. Insert a twine loop or tape inside with a knot inward. Clean for half an hour in the freezer.
 5. After that, the forms are removed from there and left on the table so that the contents dry out within 24 hours. Then the bird food is removed and hung out the window on the trees in the yard.
A house for feathered children will also be happy to do under the guidance of elders.

It can be made from:
 • empty 5 liter canister;
 • a large wooden spoon and fork;
 • straw;
 • hot glue;
 • twine;
 • accessories.

 1. Cut windows from one and the opposite side. Make 2 pair cuts below them. Insert two wooden spoons here. Or the second may be a large fork of the same material.
 2. But first, using a hot gun, attach the twine, and upstairs - straw, previously tying it in a bundle. If you do not have such material, then use a natural bast.
 3. It will remain to decorate the birdhouse. From the yellow and white rope, gluing it, make window frames. Fabric flowers glued at the bottom of the bird house will also be a wonderful decoration for the bird dining room.
Children's crafts can be made from improvised materials. Watch the next workshop, and you will teach children how to make airborne insects.

How to make a butterfly with your own hands?

You will turn the following items into it:

 • clear plastic bottle;
 • plasticine;
 • small foam ball;
 • plastic straws from a cocktail;
 • beads.
Also for creativity you will need:
 • hot gun with silicone rods;
 • scissors;
 • water washable marker.
We follow this instruction:
 1. You need to remove the label from the bottle, cut off the middle part to get a sufficiently large canvas. Cut it in half. Attach the butterfly wings pattern to one and the second part, circle with a water-washable marker. Cut to these outlines.
 2. Now you need to decorate the wings. Use a hot gun to attach the beads as a decoration. Cut the straws into small pieces, glue them along the edge of the wings.
 3. Let the child stick plasticine around the ball, using the same material you can attach decor elements. To continue children's creativity, the baby will mold the body of an insect from plasticine, help the child put both wings here and fix them.
This is how you can make a butterfly out of plasticine and a plastic bottle.

Crafts from cereals and seeds: master classes

Under your guidance, the child will engage in the creative process and make a wonderful palm tree. This will require:

 • a bowl
 • rod from the handle;
 • pumpkin seeds;
 • plasticine.
In the bowl, put softened green plasticine, distribute it evenly. This is grass. In the center, attach a plasticine ball.

A tree trunk is thrust into it and fixed, which must be coated with plasticine.

Now let the child roll a “sausage” out of brown plasticine and begin to wrap it around the bottom of the trunk, moving up.

Here's how to make similar crafts from seeds and cereals. It was the turn of pumpkin seeds. These will be the needles of a magnificent Christmas tree. They need to be thrust into the tree trunk, also starting from the bottom. Try to place the elements of subsequent rows between the seeds of the previous ones.

What a wonderful Christmas tree made of seeds! The next job to do is no less exciting. To create a round panel, take:
 • seeds of cucumber or melon, as well as apples;
 • semolina;
 • gouache;
 • glue;
 • pencil;
 • a round disposable plate.

Grind semolina with gouache - half with green, half with yellow. On a plate you need to apply a drawing with large features, for example, such a goose.

Starting from the tail, grease parts of his body with glue and attach the seeds of a cucumber or melon. And the wing needs to be highlighted with black apple seeds, but quince seeds can also be used.

To make paws and beak, the seeds of a melon or cucumber are covered with red gouache and allowed to dry. Now they need to be glued to the markings.

To make grass, glue is applied to the lower part of the background, this area is sprinkled with green semolina. The upper half of the picture is made out with the same croup, but yellow.

DIY do-it-yourself bean crafts

Crafts from beans, beans, peas can also be performed by children. At the same time learn the alphabet. Draw letters on the paper, let the child grease each in turn with glue and attach the prepared seeds.

To make a panel in the form of a pumpkin, give a child:
 • seeds of halves of dry peas;
 • glue;
 • a sheet of cardboard and colored paper;
 • leaf of a tree;
 • sesame seeds;
 • pencil.
A colored sheet of paper is glued onto the cardboard, on which you need to draw the outlines of the pumpkin and its fragments. Halves of peas are glued on them, and between these slices - sesame seeds, on top - a dry leaf of a tree.

Children can also make chickens so funny and beautiful from legumes. Give them a pattern of these young chicken. Let them circle him, and draw their noses and paws with a yellow pencil. Dry peas need to be glued onto the surface of one chicken. Create another from beans. For the third, corn is suitable.

To make an owl, the kids will need:
 • pattern of this bird;
 • cardboard;
 • beans of white, brown, red color;
 • beans
 • dry yellow pea soup;
 • glue.
First, the template is transferred to cardboard. Then you need to outline parts of the body and head of the bird. For such an article from beans, 3 grain colors are needed. The upper part of the head, ears, and the outlines of the body are laid out in light brown.

Wings are made of red, and belly and eye contours are made of white. Pupils spread with black beans, and paws and beak with yellow peas or corn of this color.

Bean seeds make beautiful colored crafts. You can offer the child to lay out a circular pattern. Glue lentil seeds in the center and outside, and make circles of white beans, beans, yellow peas or corn.

From green peas, you can make a photo frame by pasting it around the perimeter with these seeds.

There is a very interesting decor for Easter eggs. For him you will need:
 • boiled eggs;
 • flour or starch based paste;
 • grains;
 • small groats;
 • dried herbs;
 • spice.
All this needs to be emptied into separate saucers. Next, the egg is greased with paste and rolled on dry herbs, spices, grains.

You can create mosaic patterns by drawing a sketch on the shell in advance. Use stencils if desired.

You can attach legumes to the surface using not only boiled eggs, but also balls. Great idea for room decor.

How to make pea topiary?

Bean seeds will also help to make it. To make a tree count, you need to take:
 • packaging of green peas (ground and chopped);
 • foam ball;
 • a pack of dry moss;
 • 1 medium-sized clay pot;
 • thermal glue;
 • pVA glue;
 • a brush;
 • for the barrel - a skewer, a wooden stick or a simple pencil;
 • paint for the pot;
 • green acrylic paint;
 • floristic foam or alabaster or cement;
 • styrofoam.
First you need to paint the pot and the barrel in the desired colors, if necessary. But the ball must be decorated with green paint. This can be done in two ways: cover half the ball when it dries, paint the second side, wait until it dries. And only then cut a hole in it and cut the barrel. Or do it earlier by fixing the barrel, and then immediately paint the entire ball.

When it dries, decorate it with peas. Here's how to do the topiary. Brush a small portion of the ball with PVA glue, then generously cover it with peas.

When the legumes attach, decorate the next piece of foam base. So close the ball completely and remove it to dry before morning.

When this happens, inspect the work, if there are small open areas, sprinkle them with cereal.

It's time to fix the crown. To do this, put glue from the "hot gun" into the hole in the ball, insert the barrel here.

For better fixation, it is advisable to further secure the barrel with pieces of paper and carefully stick them, pouring more glue here. If you do not put paper, hot glue can melt the foam, making the hole too deep.

Now put the barrel in a pot, fix this stick with alabaster, cement or floral foam.

After drying these solutions, you need to put moss on the surface, gluing it, decorate with sisal, peas, cereals.

Applications and panels from groats

Crafts from peas and beans are not only various topiaries, but also wonderful paintings.

To create one, you first need to draw a cat's face on cardboard. Then fill the areas with legumes of a certain color. Cereal crafts are also impressive.

For this, take:
 • cardboard;
 • pencil;
 • buckwheat;
 • semolina;
 • gouache;
 • pVA glue.
First you need to draw a moose by hand or by taking a template. Then with PVA glue grease his horns, put buckwheat here. After that, his hooves are also decorated. The muzzle is created from millet, and the body is made from semolina, which can be pre-mixed with brown gouache.

To make such a wreath, take:

 • green peas;
 • “Hot gun” or PVA glue;
 • straw wreaths - 2 pcs.;
 • a baking sheet;
 • a brush;
 • twine.

If you do not have straw wreaths, then use a foam blank of this shape, but you need to cover it with green acrylic paint.

Pour peas into a baking sheet or tray. Lubricating the inside of the wreath with glue, sprinkle it with peas.

Then, smearing small areas with glue, roll a wreath over peas to attach these small particles. When the glue dries, tie a twine to the wreath, decorate with a ribbon and hang over the door.

The door is decorated. Make table decorations. To make napkin rings, take:

 • bushings for toilet paper;
 • paint;
 • spice;
 • seeds;
 • small groats;
 • stationery knife;
 • glue.
Cut each sleeve across into 3 parts, paint these blanks on all sides. When the coating dries, gradually grease these parts from the outside with glue, roll bushings over bulk products laid out in different containers.

To give the product additional strength, you can lubricate the decorated surface with glue.

Here are such wonderful crafts from seeds, cereals, beans, peas, you can advise children to do. And to make it even easier for them to learn this, let them watch a video with you in which the creation process is available.

Any parent seeks to invest maximum benefit in their communication with the child. Making crafts from it with small items will not only captivate the baby, but also this lesson helps strengthen children's hands and develop fine motor skills.

Mom in the kitchen will always find all sorts of grains and cereals. Therefore, crafts from cereals and seeds with their own hands will be a great entertainment for the child and salvation for the parents. How to make them? We will tell you now.

Herringbone

Acquaintance with this fascinating lesson can be started with a simple craft of pumpkin seeds. Herringbone is done quite easily. For work, a lid from a bucket, a rod from a handle and plasticine are suitable. First you need to prepare the "ground". To do this, gently and evenly smear clay on the surface of the lid. Now you need to make the barrel. To do this, glue a small ball of plasticine on the middle of the lid, fix the rod in it and apply plasticine to it in layers. Next, the barrel needs to be improved a bit. We glue the prepared base in a circle with thin strips and begin to attach the needle-seeds from below. We glue in a checkerboard pattern, slightly lowering the needles down. Everything, the Christmas tree is ready. It remains only to paint the seeds in green.

Bouquet

What else can you make crafts from pumpkin seeds with your own hands? For example, a bouquet of flowers. To make such a craft, you need to take seeds, glue, a leaf pattern, scissors, a circle pattern, dry twigs, burlap. Having cut out a circle with a diameter of six centimeters from the cardboard, glue it with a sharp edge out on its edge. When the first row is ready, we do the second, third and fourth. We do not glue the middle, in the center we make a small hole and decorate with peas. Then, turning the blank over, just glue a row of seeds on the other side. After we close it with a circle from a pre-cut coarse burlap. A dry twig will be a stalk, which must be decorated with leaves cut from the same burlap. Several flowers made in this way will make up a beautiful bouquet.

Petals in plants can be glued in three different ways. The first option is described above. In the second, seeds are arranged with a circular end out. And in the third version, the combination is this: the first three rows are glued with a point outward, and then vice versa, point inward. Each time the flower will take on an unusual shape.

Fruit plate

Will be the original decoration of the room. Here is an example of such a product - a plate with a pattern of cucumber and apple seeds. On a disposable paper plate we apply a drawing with large details, for example, the outline of a goose. We apply glue, starting from the tail, and gently glue the seeds. The wing pattern is made from apple seeds. We reach the head. Beak and paws are spread with seeds, previously painted red. It remains to make a background. To do this, we smear the plate with glue and sprinkle with semolina painted with gouache, laying out the desired pattern. Such a product will be a wonderful decoration.

"Owl"

Crafts from pumpkin seeds with your own hands can become a real masterpiece if you combine paints, fabric and other improvised means in one work. Such an example can serve. For work it is necessary to prepare the following materials: wooden frame, fabric, cardboard, pumpkin seeds, twigs, paints, glue, plasticine, toothpicks, brush. Now you can begin to do the work. We pull the fabric onto the cardboard and insert it into the frame. Using glue, we attach several branches, imitating a tree branch. On one we lay out the figure of an owl, attach the eyes and beak.

Glue on the remaining branches separately placing them like leaflets. Glue three seeds below the branch on which the owl sits: they will be the tail. Add black plasticine to the paws: these will be claws. Now it remains only to decorate the application. We color the feathers with color, the beak with orange. We paint seeds-leaves in green color. And now the owl is ready. Such a picture can decorate a nursery.
