Make a rowan from beads. Winter rowan tree made of beads. Winter Christmas tree made of beads for beginners

Beads are an amazing material. You can use it to create paintings, flowers, animal figures and, of course, trees. See how you can make a rowan from beads. The product turns out to be very realistic. Weaving rowan beads is a fascinating and fairly simple process. It will bring pleasure to both beginners and bead weavers. Your beaded rowan tree, the master class for which I present, will turn out just like the real thing.

    To weave rowan from beads we will need:
    Beads of two colors: green and orange-red. Bead size No. 10 (Czech) or No. 12 (Chinese)
    Wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm and thicker wire (for forming a barrel)
    Masking tape or thread - this will need to be wrapped around the barrel
    Acrylic paints Brown
    Alabaster

Let's start weaving rowan from beads from bunches. One bunch of rowan consists of five small bunches.

Take 33 cm of wire and string 3 red beads onto it. Place the beads 5 cm from the edge of the wire and twist both ends of the wire under the beads by about 1 cm.

In total, you need to make 10 such twists on the wire. Then we twist the ends of the wires together. It turned out to be a small bunch.

We make 5 bunches of these.

Now from these five small bunches you need to make a bunch of rowan berries from beads. To do this, take bunches - 5 pieces and twist them together. You will get a bunch of rowan berries.

Only 11 bunches need to be woven.

Beaded rowan leaves

The leaves are woven using a parallel weaving technique; each row will have a certain number of beads.

Row 1: Take a 25 cm wire and string one bead onto it. Now we pass either end of the wire in the opposite direction through this bead and tighten it.

Row 2: take two beads and string them onto either end of the wire. Now take the other end of the wire and pass it in the opposite direction through these two beads. Tighten the ends.

Row 3: take three beads and string them onto either end of the wire. Now take the other end of the wire and pass it in the opposite direction through these three beads. Tighten the ends of the wire.

In the 4th and 5th row: do the same for three beads.

Row 6: from this row the leaf is woven in descending order. You need to make two beads in this row.

Row 7: This row is the final one. We make one bead in it. We twist the ends of the wire together.

You need to weave about 200 of these leaves.

Now from these small leaves you need to make large leaves rowan beads. To begin, take three leaves and twist them together.

Next, take another leaf and wrap it around these three leaves. The leaf should be placed on the left, 0.5 -0.7 cm lower first three leaves.
Near right side attach another leaf.

Below these leaves we wrap two more leaves and then two more. In total, the large leaf consists of 9 small leaves.

Assembling rowan from beads

Let's start assembling rowan from beads from its branches. To begin with, take one bunch and one large leaf. We wrap the bunch to the leaf.
Next, we attach another leaf and a second bunch.

Immediately after the second bunch we attach the third rowan leaf. The result was a rowan branch. We collect such branches from all the leaves and clusters for rowan.

When all the branches have been collected, we begin to form a tree. We take a thick wire and attach one branch to its edge - it will be the central one.
Further in a circle, slightly lower from each other, we attach the remaining branches.

For the finished rowan tree, we make a stand, plaster the trunk and cover it with paint.

Have you ever wanted to create a fake with your own hands? Making a small tree, such as rowan, using beadwork is a fun process. Weaving trees with beads is not limited to strict instructions; you can always get creative and add something of your own.

Features of beading

If this is your first experience creating a small craft with your own hands, then it is better to refer to the video instructions. It is better to choose larger beads for work, because you do not yet have the dexterity that is required for filigree small work. The material comes in various colors, which will allow you to realize your fantasies; in addition, budget collections of beads are available for beginners, which is also important. Schemes of a variety of ideas can be found on Internet sites, or, when you have more experience and your hand is full, come up with it yourself.

How to make a rowan from beads with your own hands

Beaded rowan is a simple decoration that makes an excellent gift. To create you will need the following items:

Let's get started:

  1. For each leaf you need to build nine small parts. You should start by creating small parts. Each leaf will be built on five rows. Only one green bead is used for the first and last rows, and two for the central ones.
  2. The nine resulting parts must be combined into a sheet. To do this, you need to twist three small parts at the very base, and then attach other elements to them in pairs.
  3. We repeat the above 14 times. The beaded leaves are ready.
  4. It's time for the grapes. You need to take the wire, measure the length - 65 cm, then step back ten cm from the edge, attach the first bead. To secure it, you then need to twist the ends.
  5. After two centimeters we string the next bead, then re-twist it. In this way you need to put on ten beads.
  6. All berry beads should be twisted.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 to get three identical bunches.
  8. Then assemble a brush from them. To do this, place them one on top of the other, then twist them at the junction.
  9. Complete seven red clusters.
  10. The completed parts must be wrapped with thread to form the branches of our tree.
  11. The clusters and leaves should be connected carefully, twisting their bases.
  12. After making a small indent, you need to attach another bunch of leaves.
  13. We collect seven such branches. At the base of each part you need to add a winding with a beautiful thread.
  14. Take part of the wire, which will be the trunk, and gradually attach branches to it.
  15. Each attachment point should be closed with threads.
  16. Make a stand: for this you can use plasticine or plaster, then “plant” the finished tree there.

Beaded berries

Do-it-yourself bead trees are assembled gradually. Any craft made from small beads is reminiscent of origami: you need to repeat the same actions. First you need to string the beads onto the wire, then twist it. Having put on ten beads like this, they should then be connected to each other, creating original bunches. They are already gathering in clusters. You need to weave 10-11 such bunches.

Leaves

The next step is to create leaves using green beads. The parallel weaving technique is used. One bead is strung on the first row, then two, and one again on the last row. There should be seven rows in total. Then these details are combined into a single piece of paper, familiar from childhood. First, three elements are combined, everything is twisted at the base, and then the remaining ones are attached in pairs.

Rowan branch

The penultimate stage is the creation of tree branches. You need to take the finished leaf, along with one bunch. Place them on top of each other and rewind the base. Then put the next leaf and attach it again, and after that take a bunch. The final step is to repeat everything again, ending with a piece of paper. You should get a neat branch. In order to hide the wire, you can use brown threads.

Wood assembly

The finishing line is the formation of the trunk. Thick wire will become the basis of the future tree. You need to wrap branches around it from top to bottom. You shouldn’t stop at the standard arrangement of branches and berries; you can experiment and try to bend the branches in different directions and evaluate how it looks. Having found the ideal angle, secure this position with threads. The beaded rowan is ready!

Video tutorials on weaving rowan from beads

Complex instructions are not suitable for beginners in this kind of weaving, so it is better to refer to video tutorials on making cute crafts. Masters of their craft will tell you how the work should be done, what size of wire to measure, and how many beads to take. What techniques can be used to convey the effect of a winter or autumn tree and how to create its chokeberry variety?

Today I want to present to you the work and master class of a wonderful master - Irina Zorinova.
When you have been doing something for a long time, and you achieve a certain mastery in it, the first emotions and sensations that once arose from seeing works in this technique for the first time fade away.

You begin to look at products from a completely different point of view. It is already becoming quite difficult to surprise the master.

I can say the same about myself. From an inspired beginner who looked at all the products made using the kanzashi technique and was madly delighted with every new work I saw, I turned into a strict critic. Evaluating the idea, composition, and most importantly - the accuracy of the work.

I rarely evaluate the work of other craftswomen, but if I do, I do it with all my heart and completely sincerely.

This type of activity constantly brings me together with amazing masters. From which I myself draw a lot of inspiration.
Today I present to you the work of the wonderful master Irina Zorinova, who kindly agreed to provide us with her master class - Rowan.

So, to make rowan, we need:

1. Satin ribbon three colors – 5 cm wide
2. Red beads
3. Beads
4. Wire
5. Gold cord
6. Glue gun
7. Candle

We make a sprig of rowan.

Take a wire and string a bead onto it. Twist the wire and insert the bead, gluing it with glue. In this way we make 20 blanks.

We twist 16 blanks together, set aside 4.

We bend the tail of the branch. After that, we screw 4 beads where the soul asks.

Making double spicy kanzashi petals.

We cut them a little from the bottom and burn them on a candle or lighter.

We glue the petals together, as shown in the photo.

Glue the cord to the leaves.

After this, we glue all the blanks: leaves, a sprig of rowan.

After all the parts are glued, add the necessary fastening and wrap the branch with tape. As a result, you will get a beautiful Rowanushka.

Creating a beautiful and original rowan from beads is not so difficult. For this you need:

  • rowan from beads: master class;
  • basic knowledge and some skill;
  • use of proven techniques;
  • patience;
  • beaded trees: rowan - diagram;
  • materials;
  • fantasy.

In this article we will talk about the basic techniques for weaving this tree with beads, and also give advice on how best to design your product.

There are many options for making rowan from beads. Some people prefer to decorate branches by twisting them using floss threads, others use regular threads and then glue them several times with PVA glue.

We offer a simple, but much more effective way. Try using it to make a voluminous trunk and embossed branches (as in the photo) self-hardening mass and acrylic paints. Of course, it’s not cheap, but it won’t cost you very much. But your beaded winter rowan will look so realistic and professional that it will completely pay off these small costs! There is a cheaper one, but also good way how the trunk and each branch of a rowan tree are shaped from beads - modeling their shape using plaster or other materials (using thick frame wire). And then wrapping it with floral tape.

After you have decided on the materials that you will use to make the branches and trunk, we will make a list of everything you need to make a rowan tree in the snow made of beads as similar as possible to the real one:

  • large red-orange beads;
  • mix: small transparent and white beads, white and/or transparent cutting (for snow);
  • copper wire of different thicknesses - for weaving: about 50 pieces 45 cm long and for creating a frame;
  • white wire (0.3 mm): 25 pieces, each 25 cm long;
  • rowan bead pattern
  • self-hardening mass or plaster/alabaster (threads, PVA glue);
  • acrylic paints/floral tape or brown floss;
  • small flower pot;
  • nylon thread;
  • cement, gypsum, alabaster or clay for “planting” your **beadwork: rowan**;
  • polystyrene foam and glue/acrylic paints/bead mix and glue - to create a semblance of “snow” in a pot, on the trunk and some branches of a tree.

We repeat this “procedure” until a small tail of wire about 2-3 cm remains. You should get 14 “berries”. We make the rest of the blanks (50 pieces in total). If necessary, their number can be doubled by combining bunches of 2 pieces (for larger volume).

Winter rowan from beads: master class. Weaving "snow".

  1. We take a white wire and collect white and transparent beads in random order. Then we make a loop. Having twisted it 2 turns, we proceed to the next one. We calculate so that one segment is enough for 6 or 7 loops.
  2. We collect bunches from the prepared blanks (if we have not done so already) and twist them together with the “snow” in the same way as we will continue to weave rowan from beads. Try to do this in approximately one direction.
  3. Now we take a thick wire and use a nylon thread to attach the bunches to it.
  4. We make the trunk-frame using the method we chose earlier, but at the same time we try to fix large branches very well.
  5. The finished rowan bead tree needs to be “planted” in a pot. To do this, you can make a cement mortar, or you can prepare an alabaster one. To get it, we dilute alabaster and water 1:1.
  6. Pour the mixture into the pot, installing and securing the tree. You need to hold it until the alabaster sets. Then, if the trunk and branches are made of glue and threads on wire, you can coat them with a solution of alabaster, water and PVA (1:1:1). We start with the branches, smoothly moving to the trunk.
  7. Paint with acrylic brown paint. 8.
  8. We decorate the base at our discretion - either paint it too, or cover it with a layer of PVA and crumble polystyrene foam/sprinkle it with beads.
  9. If necessary, cover the required areas (trunk, branches, base) with varnish.
  10. DIY winter rowan from beads is ready!

Now let’s briefly look at how to weave a rowan tree with leaves from beads. The diagram above will help us with this and detailed diagram leaf weaving.
Prepare:

    • 210 pieces of thin copper wire, each 45 cm long;
    • red beads (about 20 grams);
    • 40 grams of green beads (preferably several shades);

  • plaster, floral tape, brown electrical tape and acrylic paint;
  • PVA glue;
  • flower pot;
  • 100 gr. clay or cement.

Subsequence:
1. We weave the leaves according to the diagram and assemble them, as in the photo.

2. We make clusters like this: string 1 bead into the middle of the segment and twist the wire 10 times. We repeat. We make the number of twists the same everywhere. It should look like in the photo. When all ten beads are strung, you need to twist them to form a bunch.

3. Make 6 bunches and collect the finished bunch.

4. Assembly: rowan from beads for beginners. We collect the clusters into branches (2 or 3 clusters + 3 or 5 leaves). There should be four to six branches in total.

5. We make a frame from rigid wire and assemble the tree: we “wrap” branches to it and straighten them.

6. Plant the tree in a pot, fill it with solution and let it harden. We evaluate our beadwork: the rowan tree should be straightened, and the branches should be firmly fixed.

7. Cover the trunk with a solution of gypsum and PVA and leave to dry for 12 hours. After drying, we polish the irregularities and cut out the “bark” relief.

8. Paint with gouache or acrylic paints.

9. After drying, cover with a layer of transparent varnish. A wonderful tree is ready!
It can be a wonderful gift, or maybe your first step towards your own small business. After all, if you try to master not only basic beading techniques, but also more complex methods, your work can gain greater value, and then popularity!
