Materials and tools:

This year my youngest daughter went to first grade. And on Teacher’s Day, I decided to congratulate her class teacher with a present made in my favorite suite design technique.

Actually, the present itself is quite traditional - a box of Korkunov chocolates. But the design will be unusual, one might even say, unexpected. I decided to turn a box of chocolates into ... a cool magazine (gift edition). I hope the teacher will appreciate mom's efforts. :)

So, take a box of your favorite sweets and start creating.

First of all, you need to unpack the box and get the sweets. Later we will return them to their place.

We paste over the box with thin double-sided tape.

We glue a sheet of colored paper on tape. Leave the allowances.

Cut off the corners as shown in the photo. Bend and glue the edges of the paper ...

Glue the pieces of tape (ties). Cut a rectangle out of paper to fit the box lid, but smaller by 0.5 cm from each side. Glue the sheet to the inner surface of the lid.

Take the appropriate tape and glue the edges of the box. Thus, we hide the joints and decorate our future class magazine.

Put the candies back in the box.

On the inner surface of the lid I stuck a printed congratulation and decorated it with braid.

We design the cover of the magazine to your liking, we connect imagination. A gorgeous gift for teacher's day!

We will need a self-adhesive film, a box of chocolates, scissors.

For the magazine I take self-adhesive from the household store. There are very good, dense, textured, under the skin, under all kinds of fabrics ... For every taste. Cut 55 cm of the film. I don’t peel off everything at once. I pull everything out of the box. Therefore, it is important that the sweets inside are in foil. I start gluing with the letter "K" \u003d) At the edges I leave about 5.5 cm on one side and 7.5 cm on the hem for the hem. I bend to the lid and smooth the edge well. The back side is pasted over, we turn over our box and make cuts, we cut off excess strips. The edges are bent inward. This is important precisely at this stage. If you wrap the whole box, the edges can stick together and you have to stick them. The film can stretch a little and go in a wave.

Bent the edges. We make cuts on the “spine” of the magazine and glue these stripes on the sides of the second part of the box. If it is a little crooked or get out above the edge, we cut it. "Valve" glued, wrap the second side of the box.

We make cuts. We bend the stripes. Wrap short sides. Where necessary, cut. Bend the film inside.

We glue the long board. Cases cuts, cut off the extra stripes. We bend inward. Cut the strip of film for the middle of the box. Width 5 cm.

If desired, you can glue the bottom, but everything will be closed with cardboard and sweets. On the left we glue a beautiful sheet with a congratulation.
