I thought for a long time how original it is possible to thank the employees and say thanks to them. I looked in the store, on the Internet for unusual forms of gratitude. Stopped on medals, but they are all very ordinary and battered. Therefore, I decided to do it myself.
We will need:
Blanks, openwork napkin (small);
Satin ribbons (ribbon can be);
Glue, adhesive tape;
1 step I found and picked up on the Internet a floral template in the form of a circle (different for everyone). Each coin has two sides.
2 step. I picked up the words and printed on the back of the coin. On the front side, the nomination “To the best colleague”, “To the best methodologist”, etc. is imprinted.
3 step.For rigidity, the front side of the coin was printed on photo paper, the back on a plain one.
4 step. Cut in shape. Here are the blanks.
5 step. To decorate the edges and give them tenderness, glue the front side on a lace napkin.
6 step.Using glue and tape we fasten the ribbon.
That's all! The medal is ready!
It took me only six minutes to make four medals.
How nice it was to give them to people! To see their smiles and hear in response “Thank you very much!”, “A wonderful surprise!”

How to do it yourself
Children love to make medals; this develops the imagination and motor skills of the hands. With the help of adults it is possible to make more complex and original models.
To work, prepare stationery: scissors, glue, colored paper, cardboard, stationery knife. A thread with a needle and a satin ribbon will come in handy.
Before proceeding with the manufacture of medals and other crafts, it is advisable to ensure the safety of the workplace: remove excess objects from the table, lay an oilcloth on it or put a work board, and close sharp objects (stationery knife, scissors) after use.
When applying glue, it is convenient to use a brush so that when smearing the base on the surface, children do not get their hands dirty, and the layer is evenly distributed on the surface. Do not squeeze out too much glue, as the medal will deteriorate or stains appear when the product dries.
The process of making orders is different:
- When using ready-made templates downloaded from the Internet, they are printed on a color or black and white printer. In the latter case, the medal is painted. Then the product is cut out, a satin ribbon is threaded, tied or sewn.
- In case of independent manufacture, medals draw the desired shape: circle, oval, rectangle, star. Then the product is painted and signed. Cut the order, thread a bright ribbon. If the award is made of dense material, you can beautifully decorate it with colorful sand, seeds, grain, beads, rhinestones or other materials. This will make the craft original.
Medals: pictures and patterns
The medallions are made of different materials: paper, cardboard, fabric, plasticine, clay. Edible medals-cookies are prepared under the guidance of adults. Boys can cut wooden orders with a jigsaw with the help of dad or grandfather.
