2. From a slightly larger ball we sculpt our head. To do this, you need to evenly extend one edge, giving it a resemblance to the muzzle. We follow the symmetry and smoothness of the lines.
3. Case for paws. The starting element is also a ball. A roller rolls from it on the board, which bends at a right angle in a ratio of 1: 2 in length. There are 2 such elements - these are the hind legs of a seated friend. Two more front legs - two straight “sausages”.
4. Ears, a nose and spots for the whole body are molded from black plasticine. We make sure that the natural proportions are observed.

Molding dachshund

A dachshund figure is formed as follows:

1. We divide plasticine into 6 parts: one large (for the body), four smaller (for the paws), one medium (for the ears - they are long for the dachshund).
2. The body is formed from a wide and even sausage, narrowing the ends to depict the muzzle and tail.
3. From four small pieces we form balls, then we roll up sausages, the ends of which we make flattened (paws).
4. The fifth part (ears) is a flat part of the shape of an elongated oval, which is laid on top of the proposed head and is pressed a little for fastening. Between the ears and the body, you can lay a thread, which in the finished version will depict a leash.
5. Eyes and nose - black small balls neatly rolled up with index and thumb.
6. To decorate a new friend, we sculpt a blanket - a cape located behind the ears, in the middle of the body.

The dog turns out kind and sweet. Fashioned from mastic, it is soft and pretty, chubby and lazy.

Before you blind a dog, you always need to determine its nature in advance. You might want to make a puppy or a whole “puppy patrol”.

Plasticine dog

This method will allow you to step by step to create a beautiful dog sitting on its hind legs. To do this, take:

• plasticine of different colors;
• small scissors;
• a toothpick or thin wand;
• wooden skewer;
• stack.

Step-by-step instruction

1. First you need to take brown clay. We make two balls out of it. The diameter of one should be less than the other.
2. On a smaller ball we make indentations with our fingers. This will create a muzzle and eyes.
3. Carefully in the pits you need to attach the white circles of plasticine and also press them.
4. In the middle of the troughs we add a white face. Its contour needs to be leveled by fingers.
5. On top of the muzzle we sculpt a black nose.
6. We attach eyes to the troughs. They are made with the help of small blue circles, on which black dots of plasticine are mounted.
7. Next, you need to fashion the ears. To do this, roll two brown and white balls. You need to connect them together and flatten them.
8. We give them a beautiful shape in the form of ears. Fasten to the head.
9. We roll the body of the animal from a large ball. It is necessary to create a teardrop shape and bend it a little.
10. In the middle of the body you need to insert a toothpick.
11. We put our head on a toothpick.
12. We make the belly of the dog with the help of white plasticine and flatten it along the body.
13. We begin to make paws. We sculpt brown sausages. Add white balls. We attach them to the body of the dog. With the tip of the stack we cut the fingers on the paws for a more natural look.
14. The tail is also made of brown sausage. Attaches to the torso. The tail is better to bend.

Other sculpting methods

You can also sculpt a dog, standing on two legs. At the same time, the essence of modeling and the method does not change. The main thing is to make 4 long legs and put a body on them. You can use toothpicks for this. So the design will stay much more confident. If you make the dog’s legs taller, you get a shepherd.

The shepherd has a more pronounced muzzle. In the detail for the head, make an incision for the mouth. And put the dog’s long tongue in it. Sheepdog collar can be decorated with small triangles that will serve as spikes.

It all depends on the imagination of what the shepherd should be: angry or good. Making a small smile on a plasticine figure is always easy with the help of a stack.

What else can you fashion a friend from?

A good material is polymer clay. This is a modern synthetic substance based on polyvinyl chloride.

It hardens at a temperature of 110 degrees, so it can reliably maintain the shape that was attached to the material for a long time. It is as if nature specially made this material for handmade creativity.

A polymer clay puppy, unlike a fellow from plasticine or from mastic, is able to “stay in the house” for a long time. It can be the famous Beethoven or any other breed.
